Chapter 317: The Haber Colossal Dragon Gods, Making A Killing

“You’re actually the master of the existential plane!”

The Abyss Skeletal Dragon had an awful look on his face. He had a rather strong feeling that things seemed to bode ill now. He was also a master of another existential plane himself and thus knew very well just how powerful a master of an existential plane was.

It was no exaggeration to say that “higher deity status” + “master of existential plane status” + “currently in their own existential plane” = “strong and invincible”!

The words “strong and invincible” were no joke. As long as a pinnacle-level higher deity or a Great Perfection-level deity didn’t show up, the master of the existential plane would undoubtedly be an invincible existence.

“Therefore, your fate has been destined from the very moment you stepped into Heaven’s Vault Continent.” Meng Lei held his hands behind his back and said, “And that is... To offer up your life!”

“So, you want to kill me? Not so easy!” the Abyss Skeletal Dragon roared. It easily shook off the Power of Existential Plane’s hold on it with a strong jerk from its body.

As a Great Demon God on par with a higher deity, it was very hard for Power of Existential Plane to imprison him for long. The skill could only trap him for two to three seconds before he would succeed in shaking it off.

“Human deity, I’ll remember you!”

The Abyss Skeletal Dragon gave Meng Lei a long, deep gaze. Then, he broke the dimension, created a black hole in the air with a light smack from its claws, and dived into it.

“Thinking of fleeing?”

Meng Lei couldn’t help but shake his head. He said, “Coming and going as and when you please... What do you take this place for? Your mistress’ residence?”

Meng Lei had only just spoken when he teleported right in front of the black hole. He grabbed the Abyss Skeletal Dragon’s tail in one motion and dragged it out of the black hole.

“You bastard!”

The golden divine fire inside the Abyss Skeletal Dragon’s skull shook fiercely for a while and gave off furious divine spirit energy fluctuations.

“Human deity, you’re going too far!”

“Let’s cut the crap!”

Meng Lei let out an icy snort and waved dismissively. He said, “I’ll give you a chance. If you hand over your divine spirit origin energy and submit to me, you live. If not... You die!”

Roar!

The Abyss Skeletal Dragon roared, “I’m part of the noble Colossal Dragon Gods. How can I possibly submit to a cheap and lowly inferior native life form like you? Dream on!”

“Go to hell, then!”

Meng Lei couldn’t be bothered to say any more. He teleported right in front of the Abyss Skeletal Dragon, concentrated raging power into his right fist, and threw it out.

Crack!

The Abyss Skeletal Dragon wanted to duck, but Power of Existential Plane descended upon him at a timely moment and imprisoned him where he was.

During this momentary freeze in motion, Meng Lei’s fist successfully connected with his skull.

Crack!

The golden skull cracked at once. Densely-packed cracks formed, and then it broke apart with a boom—the punch had actually directly blasted it apart.

Without the skull, the Abyss Skeletal Dragon’s divine fire lost its vessel and was separated from the gigantic dragon body right away, resulting in the body plummeting straight toward the ground.

Given his 6,000,000-feet-long body, should he crash onto the ground, the destruction the crash would cause would definitely in no way be any less serious than the moon plummeting onto Earth.

“Collect!”

Meng Lei naturally would never allow something like that to happen. He collected and stored the enormous skeletal dragon body into the Tower of Time with a grand wave, thereby preventing a catastrophic disaster from happening.

For a moment, a bunch of golden-color divine fire flames was the only thing left floating in mid-air. It let out a hysterical roar of hatred and fury, “You cheap, lowly native! How dare you destroy my divine incarnation! I’ll fight to the death with you!”

“Hah, I welcome you to offer up your head anytime!” Meng Lei scoffed. Then, he tapped the air lightly with his index finger and commanded, “Freeze!”

Power of Existential Plane descended again, and the Abyss Skeletal Dragon’s golden divine fire was trapped to the spot at once. Meng Lei easily pulled the golden divine fire over to himself with a casual wave of his arm.

It was evident what happened next.

Meng Lei released his divine spirit’s power and turned and twisted the golden divine fire into a jumbled mess amid the Abyss Skeletal Dragon’s sad and shrill screams. Then, he started to read its memories.

“Ambrose Haber? An elder from the Haber Colossal Dragon Gods clan in the Thunderbolt Divine Realm?”

As he read his memories, Meng Lei gradually also received information about the black-robed middle-aged man.

As it turned out, the black-robed middle-aged man was an elder from the Thunderbolt Divine Realm’s Haber Colossal Dragon Gods clan.

As one of the most powerful godly clans, traces of the Colossal Dragon Gods could be found in billions of existential planes. They had offshoots and descendants in both the supreme Celestial Realm as well as billions of other existential planes.

The Haber Colossal Dragon Gods were the Colossal Dragon Gods’ offshoot in the Thunderbolt Divine Realm. In terms of strength, they were no weaker than the Thunderbolt Divine Realm’s Theodore clan.

Not only did the Haber Colossal Dragon Gods have a Great Perfection-level deity protecting them, but they even boasted the lofty presence of a Chief God, thereby making them one of the most powerful forces in the Thunderbolt Divine Realm.

As for the black-robed middle-aged man, he was an elder of the Haber Colossal Dragon Gods, and his true body had already assimilated four types of basic laws of nature.

This particular Abyss Skeletal Dragon was just a spare demonic incarnation that he had created so that he could descend upon low-end existential planes with ease and convenience when he needed to handle emergencies.

“To think the Haber Colossal Dragon Gods are actually so strong!”

Meng Lei took a deep breath. He didn’t fear the black-robed middle-aged man—in other words, Ambrose—at all. He was just a higher deity that had assimilated four types of basic laws of nature, that was all.

What Meng Lei held reservations about was instead the huge monstrosity that was the Haber Colossal Dragon Gods!

They had a Chief God protecting them!

The two words, “Chief God,” were more than enough to instill restraining fear in Meng Lei.

“Looks like I’d better not step into the Thunderbolt Divine Realm before I can contend with a Chief God,” murmured Meng Lei softly.

He had offended Ambrose through and through this time, after all.

Of course, what was the most important here was still the Tower of Time. That thing was a treasure that even Chief Gods would covet. It was hard to guarantee that others wouldn’t try to seize it from him.

Meng Lei took Ambrose’s spatial ring after he was done with reading his memories. Although the skeletal dragon was just his demonic incarnation, he had nevertheless carried quite a fair amount of treasures on him.

The spatial ring had an astonishingly huge capacity, and one couldn’t even see to the end with one glance. It was evident that an existential plane fragment had been sealed within it, which was why there was such a huge space inside.

Piled up inside the vast and boundless dimension were innumerable densely-packed treasures.

There were mountains of Laws of Nature Origin Crystals, mountains of elemental crystals, and mountains of god and demon dead bodies.

There were also various highly valuable herbs, magic materials, divine weapons, magic crystals, and so on.

All the treasures gave off strong, surging power of divinity energy waves, and every one of them was a priceless treasure. Meng Lei couldn’t stop staring at them right at first glance...

“I’ve struck gold! I’ve struck gold this time!” Meng Lei was practically drooling as he said, “System, collect the Divinity Crystals and the Laws of Nature Origin Crystals. Take everything that can be taken!”

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

His Wealth began to spike madly!

.2 million Divinity Crystals... 9.3 million Divinity Crystals...

10 million Divinity Crystals... 11 million Divinity Crystals...

In under ten seconds, his Wealth had increased by a whole 14.2 million Divinity Crystals and spiked dramatically to a total of 23.3 million Divinity Crystals. Not only had it made up for the previous 3 million Divinity Crystals spent, but he had even gained an additional 9 million Divinity Crystals and more!

He had undoubtedly made a profit!

“Robbery is the best way to gain riches indeed!” Meng Lei was filled with great emotion. Then, he continued to check out the treasures inside the spatial ring.

The space inside the spatial ring had been considerably freed up after he collected the Laws of Nature Origin Crystals and Divinity Crystals.

Meng Lei then transferred and stored the elemental crystals in the spatial ring into the Tower of Time. With that, the spatial ring became even more spacious.

“Next up are the god and demon dead bodies.”

Meng Lei picked out dead bodies of intermediate deity-level and above for his own use and gave the true god-level and lesser deity-level ones to the little golden tree.

Yep, I’ll take the good ones while you take the dregs. Good for me, good for you, and good for everybody!

What came after were the vast amounts of herbs and magic materials. These things were of no use to Meng Lei, so he naturally gave them all to the little golden tree for its enjoyment instead.

Without the Laws of Nature Origin Crystals, Divinity Crystals, god and demon dead bodies and remains, herbs, and magic materials inside, the space inside the spatial ring became even wider and more spacious.

Meng Lei could also see the contents more clearly now—among the few treasures left, the most dazzling one was undoubtedly a pile of colorful divine cores. There weren’t a lot of them, but they nevertheless added up to a considerable quantity of a few tens of thousands.
