Meng Lei teleported and appeared some distance away. There was blood at the corners of his lips. He said, “Higher deities are indeed powerful and mighty. Looks like normal physical attacks really can’t do anything to you at all.”
“Stop your futile and useless struggling.” The black-robed middle-aged man said aloofly, “The more you struggle, the more despair you’ll only feel.”
“Is that so?”
Meng Lei teleported behind him again. Two bursts of black flames suddenly shot out of his eyes and struck the black-robed middle-aged man.

“Netherworld Divine Fire!” The black-robed middle-aged man’s eyes bore into Meng Lei. “You’re a descendant of the Divine Netherworld Phoenixes?”
Meng Lei didn’t answer him. Instead, he was looking at the Netherworld Divine Fire that had been flung aside. He said, “Even the Netherworld Divine Fire is ineffective on you. Looks like I’m really out of options.”
“Stop the meaningless struggles.”
The black-robed middle-aged man said coldly, “I don’t care whether you’re part of the Grim Reapers or a Divine Netherworld Phoenix descendant. Hand over that thing. Otherwise—”
