Dodola shook its head. “There were originally also humans and other races on Gods-Demons Continent, but they all perished in that war between the gods and demons. In the end, only a handful of lucky Magical Beasts managed to survive.
“After the war, Magical Beasts became the biggest beneficiaries of the war. They devoured the gods and demons’ remains and seized their assets and divine cores, resulting in their power receiving a terrifying boost within a short period of time.”
