Chapter 1944: Chapter 1941: First-class Impermanence

"Lin Tian, she didn’t say she’s from this era, try to understand," Zhang Ruyan said teasingly, deliberately reminding him.

Lin Tian glared at her, feeling quite frustrated, and said, "Alright, even if she’s not a modern person, she’s merely a spiritual body. What’s all this about offering herself? Don’t tease me."

"Doesn’t the young master also have a spiritual body within him?" The Black Robed Woman widened her eyes, looking at Lin Tian.

"How do you know that?" Lin Tian was startled and furrowed his brows.

The woman slightly bowed her head and softly said, "Please don’t be angry, young master. I sensed it; I had no intention of probing into your secrets."

"That’s just perfect, saves me from explaining. You also know the difference between a person and a spiritual body, so let’s not talk about offering oneself," Lin Tian was surprised for a moment but quickly recovered and refused once again.

Comparing spiritual bodies to humans like this, the Black Robed Woman wasn’t annoyed, instead she softly replied, "Young master, you might not know, but I’m different from other spiritual bodies. In my current state, I’m no different from a real person, except I can’t bear your offspring."

"But whatever a woman can do, I can do even better; moreover, I still have the ability to transform and clone, capable of changing into any form the young master likes," the Black Robed Woman said very seriously.

Cough cough... Such straightforward words almost made Lin Tian choke on his saliva. He could only pretend to cough to conceal his embarrassment.

This woman is indeed very straightforward, but her last sentence sparked infinite imaginations. Lin Tian’s mind briefly flashed with images of different faces every night, able to transform into whatever he wanted—it’s many men’s ultimate dream.

Furthermore, she knows the Clone Technique—similar to what she demonstrated just now—her clones can transform into different faces and figures, styles vary. Schoolgirl? Seductive sister? Little family treasure? Lady from a respectable family? Queen? Innocent? Alluring? Passionate? Damn, I can’t think further; if I do, my nose will start bleeding. Lin Tian quickly suppressed his thoughts.

"Isn’t it tempting? Isn’t it thrilling?" A leisurely voice sounded in his ear.

Lin Tian turned, seeing Zhang Ruyan’s beautiful face right beside him, her expression was half-smiling as if she saw through Lin Tian’s thoughts.

"Indeed, it’s tempting," Lin Tian did not hypocritically deny. Both women immediately glared at him, but before they could speak, he continued, "But I still refuse."

"Why? She’s willing; it’s a rare opportunity," Zhang Ruyan asked curiously, Zhang Lingyu blinked, also very curious about why Lin Tian refused.

In their eyes, no man would refuse such temptation.

"Young master, is there something wrong with me? I can learn," the Black Robed Woman’s big eyes were watery and looked like she was about to cry, looking pitiful.

Seeing her like this, Lin Tian wasn’t moved, but instead a certain person flashed in his mind—not a beauty, but Qiao Xiaoyi.

Lin Tian raised his hand, looked at his palm, which seemed to have spots of golden light, and said calmly, "I said I would lead you into the Netherworld; I can’t be someone who breaks promises—speaking without doing isn’t my style."

"Moreover, if you remain in the human world in spiritual form, it’s akin to never being reincarnated. For such a beautiful woman to never be reincarnated, I, Lin Tian, refuse to allow it," Lin Tian said with no expression, simply and calmly.

Zhang Lingyu and Zhang Ruyan were stunned, even the Black Robed Woman paused. Then the three women showed different expressions; the thoughts of a woman are as elusive as needles in the sea, so Lin Tian couldn’t guess what they were thinking.

In that quiet moment, the floor lightly shook, and a black vortex appeared at the center, blowing eerie winds and resembling ghostly wails and howls.

"Netherworld passage!" Zhang Lingyu and Zhang Ruyan exclaimed in surprise.

Lin Tian recognized this as well; Zhang Lingyu forcefully opened a Netherworld passage while rescuing Xiao Manxuan. In the hospital, Black and White Impermanence also opened a Netherworld passage.

A ray of black light shot out from the vortex, and landed to transform into a humanoid shape—a woman. She wore black leather armor, a black short skirt, and black boots.

Her sexy long legs were strapped with knives, her waist hung with a sword; her long hair was roughly tied up. Her face was pale, but her eyebrows were long—she looked cool and sexy.

She also exuded a dangerous aura, like a warrior of the dark night, especially with her eyes faintly glowing red, intimidating and soul-stirring.

"Black Impermanence Envoy," Zhang Lingyu noticed her badge and frowned.

"Mu Yun Envoy, I didn’t expect you got promoted," Zhang Ruyan remarked, causing Lin Tian and Zhang Lingyu to be puzzled.

The woman referred to as Mu Yun looked at Zhang Ruyan, her red eyes flickered a bit, and then she casually said, "I’ve come to take her into the Netherworld."

"Please go ahead, but don’t tell my clan we came to the Spirit Suppressing Tower," Zhang Ruyan didn’t try to stop her, only made a request.

"I have no interest in mundane matters," Mu Yun Envoy replied, expressionless and cool.

With that, she walked towards the Black Robed Woman, but Lin Tian stepped forward, blocking Mu Yun’s path.

Mu Yun Envoy’s eyes flashed red again, her gaze swept over Lin Tian, her expression slightly changed: "So it’s a rare entity of the Three Worlds, why do you obstruct my duty?"

Lin Tian’s brows furrowed because Mu Yun Envoy saw through his identity in an instant. Though she didn’t explicitly say, what else could an entity of the Three Worlds be but a zombie?

But Lin Tian still didn’t step aside, remaining indifferent: "I’ve seen many male Impermanence, but this is my first time seeing a female Impermanence. They’re all bullies by nature, relying on power to oppress, those other Impermanence ignored rules and recklessly captured people last time. Handing people over to Impermanence is unreliable, better to let the Judge come."

"I’m a First-class Impermanence; how could those Ninth Grade Impermanence compare to me!" Mu Yun Envoy said, frowning. But she scrutinized Lin Tian more closely this time, suddenly raising her long eyebrows in surprise, "So it’s you, Lin Tian."

"Oh, you know of me? Seems I’m quite famous in the Netherworld," Lin Tian was equally surprised, not understanding what she meant by Ninth Grade and First-class. Impermanence has ranks?

"You invaded the Netherworld, snatched souls, fought Ghost Messengers, and left unharmed; it’s hard not to be famous. From ancient times, you’re the second person," Mu Yun Envoy said blandly—whether it was praise or sarcasm was unclear.

The first few sentences were easy to understand, but Lin Tian was bemused by the last one. He raised his sword-like eyebrows, "Who’s the first person?"

"You needn’t know. Hand her over to me," Mu Yun didn’t answer Lin Tian’s question, but instead grasped her sword and pointed to the Black Robed Woman behind, ready to take action at any disagreement.

"Lin Tian, hand her over to Mu Yun..." Before Lin Tian could speak, Zhang Ruyan intervened.
