Chapter 1660: Chapter 1659: The Walking Universal Antidote

The Emperor’s gaze grew even darker, not knowing why; he realized he was careless this time, perhaps the ending...

was already destined.

...

After Mo Jun researched the Emperor’s blood, she came to know just how unique his constitution was.

The cells in his body have a strong immunity and can devour nearly all viruses and mutant cells. In other words, even if injected with mutant viruses, he wouldn’t mutate!

Mo Jun conducted experiments with his blood, and sure enough, it was like this...

She had never seen such a special constitution. It was quite shocking.

Mo Jun shared this discovery with Hao Yansen, who was equally surprised.

But they were both delighted.

Mo Jun happily said, "Does this mean that his blood can cure those who have mutated?"

Hao Yansen looked at her deeply and said, "Not only that, but it can also heal Miss Xia’s body."

"Right!" Mo Jun was even more excited, "Xiaopu and they have hope for salvation!"

"I’ll start researching now to see if we can develop more cures from his blood! Who would’ve thought, the Emperor is a walking universal antidote." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Hao Yansen was even more curious about how he came to have such a constitution.

He went alone to talk with the Emperor, who was now secretly detained.

Yet, Hao Yansen afforded him great treatment; even in detention, the environment was exquisite, akin to a five-star hotel.

"Care to chat?" Hao Yansen asked as he sat opposite him.

The Emperor, although a prisoner, displayed no anxiety or anger, maintaining an air of composure, as if merely on a vacation.

With nothing else to do, he was absorbed in his book.

"Chat about what?" he asked blandly, looking up; he could already speak. His ability to recover indeed is robust.

"I’m very curious why you possess such a unique constitution. You’re immune to all toxins and diseases." Hao Yansen spoke directly.

The Emperor gazed at him intently with a piercing cold smile, "That’s it?"

"Yes, because it helps us; you know many are waiting for us to save them."

"What does that have to do with me?"

"They became this way because of you."

The Emperor sneered, "I see you saving them, clearly not out of concern for their lives!"

Hao Yansen was noncommittal, "Indeed, their lives don’t concern me, but their lives affect Mo Jun’s safety."

If Mo Jun’s suspicion isn’t lifted, she won’t be able to lead a normal life.

"Hao Yansen, I’m truly disappointed to have fallen into the hands of someone who only cares for a woman." The Emperor scoffed disdainfully.

Hao Yansen, however, laughed, "But she’s not just any woman, she’s Mo Jun."

The Emperor fell silent, eventually conceding, "You’re right, as women go, she’s indeed not bad."

"Without her, maybe the failure would have been mine," Hao Yansen replied, "She’s a woman who brings luck to those around her."

"If you’re done, leave." The Emperor returned his gaze to the pages, uninterested in such discussions.

"Are you really not going to answer my previous question?" Hao Yansen asked again as he got up.

The Emperor didn’t answer, clearly unwilling to divulge. Hao Yansen didn’t press him, just walked away.

Once alone, the Emperor was lost in memories...

Those childhood experiences are things he never wants to reveal in his lifetime.
