Chapter 81: Cross And Straw [30] I’m Here To Kidnap Your Boyfriend!
Leonidas—the original one—stared at his past self, walking through the castle. His steps were light and his expression lighter, as if the world was free of problems.
How far away from the truth that was. If anything, the world was full of problems, far too many problems, but they didn’t matter to him; after all, he hadn’t even awakened yet.
His cerulean gaze tracked his past life walking out of the castle and boarding a carriage. He knew where he would head, after all, this all had happened once before.
Vermillion Academy, the place of dreams.
Leonidas had studied there for a year himself, and it certainly lived up to its name. The academy was made by his grandfather after the Gods had died, 50 years ago.
From that point onwards, every year, without fail, it would produce some of the best warriors in the entire world, and it was also the place where Leonidas had gotten his own dream from.
He had been far ahead of his peers, with none able to match him in pure swordsmanship...except Seridius. Now that he thought about it, a lot of interesting and life-changing things had happened that year, for both him and others.
He had found out his way of living wasn’t normal. That starving, being whipped, and enduring crushing pressures wasn’t normal.
Maybe it was normal, but it definitely wasn’t looked upon favorably.
How naive I was.
But it was that naivety that had made him the man he was today, so he supposed it all balanced out in the end.
The memory Leonidas reached his destination just as he finished thinking, and a small, helpless smile made its way to his lips. He had fond memories of what would follow, even though it was anything but fun...well, most were.
Leonidas stared at the door before him, a sleazy grin on his face. He had knocked twice now, and the insolent bastards hadn’t yet opened the door for him. He was royalty, for God’s sake.
"Hey, open this door, or I’ll barge in."
Leonidas, being the magnanimous person he was, waited for a few seconds, but no one responded. Well, he had warned them.
You brought this upon yourself, Seridius.
He truly had. His grin widening, Leonidas took a few steps back, then slammed shoulder-first into the glazed wood.
The door, advertised to be able to stop a rampaging elephant, shattered like brittle glass under his weight, and Leonidas burst out the other side.=
With a triumphant smile, he dusted off the dirt from his pristine black clothes, because black was obviously the best color.
"The academy really needs to work on its security."
He muttered under his breath as he shook his head.
Leonidas turned around only to find two people staring at him, a man and a woman.
"Oh, hey, Yutria."
The girl spared him a look, her oceanic eyes staring at him with judgment, a small blush on her cheeks.
"Why hello, Leo! I would ask how you are doing, but it seems I don’t need an answer."
That was the first person; the second, who just so happened to be his best friend, wasn’t nearly as enthusiastic as his girlfriend.
"LEONIDAS HECTOR ARISTEUS, what the hell are you doing in my room?"
Yeah, the second one wasn’t entirely happy to see him.
What’s up with him?
"Oh, stop yelling, Seridius, my ears hurt. And why are you so mad? It’s not like this is the first time this has happened; it’s already the..."
After much deliberation, Leonidas put up four fingers, "The fourth time, at this point, it’s just your fault."
Maybe it was the fact that both Yutria and Seridius were naked and tangled up with each other, or maybe the fact that he was standing a little too far away from them, but Seridius threw a pair of boots at him.
Catching the dirty boot with a single hand, Leonidas gave it a curious look. In fact, his curiosity was so great that he brought it closer to his face and took a whiff...only to immediately regret it.
Oh, good lord.
"When was the last time you washed your shoes, you damned oaf, and stop staring at me like you’re gonna kill me. Don’t forget I basically own this place."
Yutria giggled behind the blanket that was now covering her body and spoke in a mischievous and slightly flirty tone.
"So, to what do we owe this pleasure, our dearest prince? Surely you’re not just here to watch from a chair, I’m sure there are plenty of other women willing for a...piece of you."
Leonidas smiled at Yutria’s words. She was perhaps the first girl he had opened up to, the only person other than Seridius who knew about his situation.
"Unfortunately, I am here to kidnap your boyfriend for an indefinite period of time...It’s time we leave."
Her expression fell at that, but she nodded nonetheless. Seridius had also quieted down, all three of them realizing the stakes of what they were about to attempt.
Seridius twirled a lock of Yutria’s brilliant white hair, wrapping his arms around her body.
"You sure you don’t want to come with us? The academy might protect you from the King, but there’s no telling what that madman might do."
Blushing, Yutria turned to stare at Seridius’s crimson eyes, a sudden heat crawling up her body. As if drawn by by gravity, the two slowly inched closer to each other, but a projectile forced them apart.
A boot slammed into the backboard of the bed, missing their faces by just an inch.
"As heartfelt as this moment is, I don’t want to see two naked teenagers I’m very close with make out and fuck each other."
Leonidas pointed at Seridius.
"You have ten minutes, do whatever you want to in that time, after that, we’re leaving. Fuck her, kiss her, get ready, I don’t really care...ok maybe don’t have sex just before we leave...it might cause some bumps in our plan, if you know what I mean."
"You insufferable little bastard!"
A boot flew back at Leonidas, which he dodged while leaving the room.
"I would advise against the sex...since you don’t have a door."
Seridius cursed him with words he was proud to hear, while Yutria laughed again.
"Don’t worry, Leo, I can take him to heaven and back in a minute. An open door won’t stop us!"
