Small, flower-lined paths and a transplanted bamboo forest graced the lakefront. A series of palaces and temples, built in a magnificent landscape garden style, rolled across the terrain in a breathtaking display.
"What a beautiful view!" The girl in red couldn’t hide the delight in her eyes.
At the thought of living with her Young Master on such a beautiful mountain, the girl bit her lower lip, a hint of gentle charm softening the corners of her eyes.
Qin Feng’s gaze swept over the girl in red. A thought suddenly struck him, and he remembered the mermaids he had captured.
With a flick of his wide sleeve, three heavy objects crashed to the ground with a loud THUD.
All eyes turned toward the sound, their expressions turning to surprise.
Three huge, transparent, crystal-clear blocks of ice appeared in the sunlight, radiating a biting chill.
What was peculiar was that inside the massive blocks of ice were three exceptionally beautiful mermaids.
These young mermaids had a unique aura about them. They were in the prime of their youth, exuding a quality that was entirely different from that of ordinary young women.
The one in the lead was especially captivating, her perfect blend of stunning beauty, noble bearing, and dignified grace drew fiery gazes from everyone present.
Qin Feng had seized these three powerful members of the Mermaid Clan from Yu Fuchen’s Cave Mansion and had kept them frozen ever since.
"Young Master, what are these?" Honglian’s crimson lips parted as she looked at Qin Feng.
Looking at the young girl with a doting expression, Qin Feng spoke. "Honglian, these are the handmaidens I found for you! What do you think? Are you satisfied? If you think they’re too ugly, I’ll just kill them with a single strike!"
As he spoke, he made a claw-like gesture with his hand, and the blocks of ice instantly began to melt.
The three mermaids slowly regained consciousness. When they lifted their heads, they saw a face they utterly loathed.
A tangible killing intent flashed in her beautiful eyes. A tyrannical wave of Water True Power erupted from the Mermaid Queen Hongyu’s body as she slammed her palm toward Qin Feng, who was right in front of her.
’This head handmaiden is wild and untamable!’ Qin Feng’s brow furrowed. His hand shot out like lightning and clamped down on her delicate wrist.
’What’s going on? How is he so strong?’ A look of disbelief filled the Mermaid Queen’s eyes. Her memory was frozen in time, right at the moment she was encased in ice three months prior.
She glared furiously at Qin Feng. "Let me go!"
Qin Feng held the Mermaid Queen by her delicate wrist, his Heavenly Dao Level Star True Power completely suppressing her.
In his grasp, the Mermaid Queen was as helpless as an infant.
Ignoring the Mermaid Queen’s fury, Qin Feng turned his gaze to the slightly stunned Honglian. "Little one, how about this handmaiden? She’s a bit wild, and she had some sort of ambiguous relationship with another man, but rest assured, she’s still a pure virgin. Her aptitude is also first-rate. If you can discipline her properly, she’ll surely become an excellent helper!"
"What? You want our Queen to be a handmaiden?"
"You’re courting death!"
The other two young mermaids snapped to their senses. Enraged, they charged at Qin Feng with angry cries. Two beams of Water Element energy surged toward him.
"Get lost! This has nothing to do with you!"
Qin Feng flicked his wide sleeve. A force like a Star River slammed into the two attacking mermaids. As they watched in absolute terror, the attack struck them both in the chest.

They both spat out a mouthful of blood. The two Condensing Vein Realm mermaids were sent flying several yards, landing with a heavy THUD on the shore of Celestial Pool Lake.
"Undisciplined. The master hasn’t even spoken, yet the servants dare to interrupt. Utterly unruly!" Qin Feng snorted, a cold glint in his eyes.
"Qin’Er! Hua’Er!" The Mermaid Queen grit her teeth, glaring at the black-robed young man. She wished she could tear him limb from limb for capturing them.
Honglian stared blankly at the Mermaid Queen, the image of the queen attacking Qin Feng flashing in her mind.
’She tried to kill the Young Master! She tried to kill the Young Master!’
’Unforgivable! She must die!’
In that instant, Honglian’s pupils changed, a faint, almost imperceptible trace of blood-red appearing within them.

Qin Feng spun around. The moment his gaze met Honglian’s blood-red, murder-filled eyes, his scalp went numb as if it were about to split open. An unparalleled aura of death enveloped him.
Qin Feng’s face filled with horror, and he hastily circulated his Heavenly Dao Level Star True Power to protect himself.
Even amidst the suffocating Evil Qi that felt like a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, Qin Feng felt a terrifying pressure, as if a great mountain was crushing his shoulders.
Nearby, Qin Shou, Qin Gang, Zhao Yuan, and Luan Xiaochuan collapsed, fainting without any chance to resist.
The three mermaids were next.
Almost simultaneously, they all lost consciousness.
’What’s wrong with Honglian? How could such terrifying power suddenly erupt from her?’

"Honglian, wake up!"
The surging Evil Qi instantly faltered. Hearing that familiar voice, a sliver of clarity returned to Honglian, and she looked toward the young man in black robes.
Gazing into his anxious eyes, Honglian’s blood-red hair instantly returned to its black color. A look of confusion appeared in her eyes.
"Young Master, what just happened to me?"
