Chapter 215: Chapter 214: The Woman Underwater

The Martial Arts Third Divine Pass shattered, and a wisp of pure Divine Storage Essence Qi flowed into his meridians. In the blink of an eye, Qin Feng’s cultivation began to break through.

Peak of Martial Arts Ten Heavens, Early Stage of Martial Arts Eleventh Layer, Martial Arts Eleventh Layer Middle Stage, Late-stage Martial Arts Eleventh Layer... The twenty-first wave tide, the twenty-second, the twenty-third, all the way to the peak of the twenty-fourth.

Inside the Seven-Star Dragon Spring, Qin Feng didn’t have to worry about his meridians being unable to withstand the impact of the True Qi tides.

The moment his meridians were damaged, the Spirit Water of the Seven-Star Dragon Spring—which contained faint wisps of a strange vitality—washed over them, healing them instantly.

On the verge of breaking through to the Martial Arts Twelve Heavens, Qin Feng forcefully suppressed the impulse.

He fully activated his *Innate Primordial Qi* technique, suppressing and condensing the Innate True Qi in his Circulation Meridians until it slowly receded into the 365 major acupoints of his body.

Qin Feng’s foundation was simply too solid!

He had devoured far too many treasures!

Had it been anyone else, they would have long since broken through to the Condensing Vein Realm!

Qin Feng desperately suppressed his breakthrough, circulating his Innate True Power through his Circulation Meridians hundreds of times. However, compressing his cultivation down to the peak of the Martial Arts Eleventh Layer was the absolute limit.

"This little fellow..." From their vantage point high up in the Dragon Nest, how could Qin Feng’s internal state possibly escape the notice of the two Nirvana Realm titans?

The two titans exchanged a look, each seeing the shock in the other’s eyes.

A terrifyingly sharp glint flashed in Zuo Song’s eyes. "A foundation this solid... it’s simply unbelievable!"

"That cultivation technique... It looks like *Innate Primordial Qi*!" The corner of Qing Mu’s mouth twitched.

"*Innate Primordial Qi*? How did that little fellow end up cultivating this Martial Arts Skill?"

Understanding dawned on Zuo Song’s face, but it was quickly followed by a flicker of worry in his eyes.

*Innate Primordial Qi* becomes progressively more difficult to cultivate in its later stages.

After reaching the Martial Arts Eleventh Layer, even a Spirit Pill like the Jade Spirit Pill—which is immensely helpful for advancing one’s Martial Arts Realm—would completely lose its effect.

...

Suppressing the joy from his unexpected breakthrough, Qin Feng dove deeper into the Seven-Star Dragon Spring.

The spring water roared like great dragons. Seven large stars shone up from the bottom, as if all the essence of the True Dragon Cave had gathered in this one spot. Life Essence Qi steamed upwards, bathing the area in brilliant Spiritual Light and shimmering divine radiance.

The source of the Seven-Star Dragon Spring was incredibly deep, like a bottomless Divine Pool. As Qin Feng dove into the water, his eyes reflected the seven massive stars.

The seven stars seemed to be just a short distance away, yet as he swam toward them, they remained impossibly deep and out of reach.

It was like trying to scoop the moon from the water!

The depths were filled with a dense web of pale cyan roots, each one moving like a small cyan dragon swimming through the water.

These roots belonged to the Ancestral Dragon Divine Wood on the surface!

Qin Feng had to be careful of these roots. If he got entangled, the overbearing power of the Ancestral Dragon Divine Wood would instantly drain all of his Essence Blood.

A starved camel is still bigger than a horse.

If the Ancestral Dragon Divine Wood had been at its peak, Qin Feng would never have dared to enter the Seven-Star Dragon Spring. The Divine Wood would have instantly sucked his Essence Blood dry.

Qin Feng dove another ten yards or so. The water above him grew dark, but a faint, deafening dragon’s roar echoed from within the depths. A great dragon burst forth from an Earth Vein in the stone wall, manifesting as Dragon-shaped Spiritual Energy and swimming to and fro.

It was a Dragon Vein!

Its vicious-looking scales resembled those of a dragon-serpent. It had already manifested its true form.

This Dragon Vein emanated a terrifying majesty, just like that of a mysterious True Dragon from ancient times.

The sight was terrifying. A chill shot down Qin Feng’s spine, and the hair on his neck stood on end. He gave the Dragon Vein a wide berth. ’I’m no match for these great dragons,’ he thought. ’If I get tangled up with one, it could be fatal.’

Yet, there was still no sign of the Dragon Pearl.

Qin Feng hesitated. The deeper he went into the Seven-Star Dragon Spring, the more dangerous it became, and it was starting to give him the creeps.

Gritting his teeth, Qin Feng dove deeper. After another twenty yards or so, an undercurrent surged in the distance. With a coarse roar, a great dragon charged toward him. Qin Feng immediately froze, hiding himself and remaining perfectly still.

This great dragon was even more terrifying than the last. It was fully adorned with scales and horns, its entire body an earthen yellow, and it radiated a deep, profound majesty. All it lacked were five-claws to transform into a true Earth Vein True Dragon.

Fortunately, the great dragon didn’t notice Qin Feng in the water.

Proceeding with even greater caution, Qin Feng spent the next hour successfully avoiding several more Earth Vein Dragon Spirits.

The largest among them had already grown scales and claws, appearing just like a true young dragon. It was only missing a Dragon Pearl. Once it produced a Dragon Pearl, this Dragon Spirit could transform into a dragon and soar into the heavens.

Qin Feng was almost discovered by this young dragon.

An hour later, Qin Feng suddenly spotted a faint glimmer of light in the depths.

’The Dragon Pearl!’

Qin Feng surged forward with all his might. From a hundred feet away, he saw a thick, small cyan dragon wrapped around a large pearl.

It was a pearl the size of a large bowl.

In the depths, the pearl emitted a Spiritual Light so dense it seemed tangible, glowing with a brilliant radiance.

The thickest root of the Ancestral Dragon Divine Wood was wrapped around the pearl!

Qin Feng stared at the scene in shock, but it wasn’t the size of the Dragon Pearl that surprised him.

To be sure, the Dragon Pearl was huge!

It was ten times larger than the ones described in ancient texts!

What astonished Qin Feng was the peerlessly beautiful woman sitting cross-legged on the spring floor, clutching the Dragon Pearl.

She was an exceptionally stunning woman, her beauty enough to topple nations. It was unlike the cold elegance of the mysterious woman in white he had seen, the proud bearing of Ji Huang’er, or the gentle, otherworldly grace of Baiyun.

She possessed an indescribably noble air—a mix of maturity, charm, and even a maternal sort of majesty.

’Who is she? How can she be here, at the source of the Seven-Star Dragon Spring!’

Qin Feng’s expression was a mixture of shock and doubt.

As he watched, the stunning woman remained seated cross-legged. She wore a pale yellow palace-style gown and looked noble, elegant, and majestic. But her eyes were closed, and she seemed to possess no aura of vitality.

As Qin Feng moved a few yards closer, he realized that one of the Ancestral Dragon Divine Wood’s roots had pierced and wrapped around the beautiful woman’s waist.

A layer of Death Qi clung to the peerless woman’s body.

It was the kind of Death Qi that only the dead possess!

’Could the Ancestral Dragon Divine Wood have drained all of her vitality?’

Without a doubt, this woman must have been a terrifyingly powerful expert when she was alive!

She had likely entered the Seven-Star Dragon Spring in search of the Dragon Pearl, fought the Ancestral Dragon Divine Wood, and was defeated, having all of her Essence Blood drained.

His eyes narrowing, Qin Feng slowly moved closer and began to realize something was wrong. Half of the Dragon Pearl was stained black.

An intensely evil aura emanated from the Dragon Pearl. The surrounding water roiled as if it had become the Ten Thousand Evils Demon Realm itself. Even the other Earth Vein Dragon Spirits didn’t dare approach this area.

This intense Evil Qi came from within the beautiful woman’s body.

It seemed a surge of Evil Qi from within her had infected the Dragon Pearl.

This Evil Qi was terrifying. A single wisp seemed capable of drawing out endless Demonic Thoughts from one’s mind, causing them to fall into depravity and become an Evil Demon.

An ordinary person who came within thirty feet of the woman would surely be driven mad by the faint, evil light of the Dragon Pearl, suffering a fatal cultivation deviation.

But Qin Feng was a Demon Ancestor and wasn’t bothered by the temptation of such thoughts. With a mere turn of his mind, he opened the Abyssal Demon Map and devoured the Evil Qi.

Clearly, this woman was the true culprit behind the Ancestral Dragon Divine Wood’s withering!

Qin Feng drew closer, his gaze sweeping over the impossibly beautiful woman. Even though he was looking at a corpse, he couldn’t help but be momentarily stunned by her appearance.

This woman was simply too beautiful.

Especially her lofty air—a regal, dignified, and maternal grace befitting an Empress.

It sparked an impulse in him to conquer her right then and there.
