Chapter 248: Chapter 248: His Manhood Is Broken

Kicked off the cruise ship and thrown back onto the pier, the Blackwoods could only watch helplessly as the vessel departed.

Caleb Blackwood wanted to go back and plead some more, but the Summers Family gave him no opportunity.

Cheryl Yates quickly left in her car. Caleb Blackwood paid Silas Blackwood no mind; he started making calls everywhere, trying to find a way to salvage the situation. He wanted to find an opportunity to invite Jason Summers out for a meal, hoping to apologize and smooth things over with the Summers Family.

He had offended the Summers Family. It would be disastrous if Jason Summers decided to hold a grudge.

Caleb Blackwood spent over half an hour on the phone but found no solution.

Having calmed down, Silas Blackwood didn’t dare say a word. After all, his father was terrifying when angry.

When Caleb Blackwood finally hung up, his hand dropped to his side. He looked utterly powerless.

"Dad... how did it go?" Silas Blackwood finally managed to ask.

Caleb Blackwood glared at his son. ’Sooner or later, Silas Blackwood is going to be the death of me.’

"Dad, I was just so angry I wasn’t thinking straight. Ivy Sherwood was supposed to be my woman, but then Quentin Blackwood stole her! I just couldn’t stomach it. Dad, I know I was wrong. I promise it will never happen again."

But Caleb Blackwood no longer believed a word Silas Blackwood said. ’The boy is a brainless pig.’ He had just lectured him, and now he’d already forgotten.

"Haven’t I told you that Ivy Sherwood will be yours sooner or later? Can’t you see she’s just using Quentin Blackwood to break off the engagement with you? What kind of person is your uncle? The most she can do is climb into his bed. You don’t actually think he’d marry her, do you?"

How could Silas Blackwood not understand such a simple concept?

"Dad, I get it..." Just as he was about to admit his mistake again, Silas Blackwood’s eyes widened. "Wait, no, Dad! If Ivy Sherwood gets into Uncle’s bed, what does that make me? Isn’t that just making me a cuckold?"

He was utterly disappointed in his son and shook his head repeatedly.

’Once they’re married, Ivy Sherwood will be a member of the Blackwood family. Then, can’t Silas Blackwood bully her however he wants? He can settle all the old scores, one by one.’

Silas Blackwood was simply beyond saving. If Caleb had to listen to him any longer, he was going to have a heart attack from the anger.

The Blackwoods had only brought one car today. Caleb Blackwood got in, and before Silas Blackwood could follow, he ordered the driver, "Drive!"

He had to let Silas Blackwood think things over by himself. Otherwise, with his impulsiveness, he was bound to suffer for it sooner or later.

"Dad, I’m not in the car yet! Dad!"

"I told you I know I was wrong! I won’t do it again! How about I go apologize to Mr. Summers? As an elder, he surely won’t give a junior like me a hard time, right?"

"Dad!"

But no matter what Silas Blackwood said, the person in the car remained unmoved.

Silas Blackwood could only watch helplessly as Caleb Blackwood’s car drove away. His legs weren’t particularly long to begin with; how could he possibly catch up to four wheels?

Night had already fallen. On top of that, the pier had been exclusively booked, and even the roads leading to it were blocked off. Only cars for banquet guests were allowed to pass.

Even his family’s car couldn’t get near this section of the road without permission. If he called his driver, the driver would have to wait for him outside the controlled area.

So, if Silas Blackwood wanted to leave, he had no choice but to walk.

The path was pitch-black. As Silas Blackwood walked, his thoughts churned. He started to feel that he wasn’t the one in the wrong. ’Isn’t the real problem that shameless bitch Ivy Sherwood?’

’Also, was that beautiful woman really Ivy Sherwood? Now that I think about it, with a little makeup on, she and Ivy do look a bit similar.’

He had to get to the bottom of this!

...

Meanwhile, Anna Nash had learned from one of Gideon Gordon’s informants that Silas Blackwood was attending a banquet today.

But Silas Blackwood had actually shown up with another woman—Lustre’s number one socialite, a very beautiful woman!

Anna Nash couldn’t bear it any longer. If she waited any further, she might just be paving the way for another woman to reap the rewards.

She couldn’t wait, nor could she afford to.

She had bet everything on Silas Blackwood. It was a high-stakes gamble, one where she had wagered her entire life.

Anna Nash picked up her phone and dialed a number she knew by heart.

Seeing the unfamiliar number, Silas Blackwood first frowned, then answered, "Hello? Who is this?"

"Silas, it’s me," Anna Nash’s delicate voice came through the phone.

The moment he heard that voice, Silas Blackwood became furious. "You have the nerve to call me!"

’If it weren’t for Anna Nash, how would he have ended up in this mess? If Anna Nash hadn’t seduced him back then, he wouldn’t have these problems with Ivy Sherwood now.’

"Silas, I miss you so much. Don’t you miss your Anna?" Anna Nash made her tone sound just like it used to.

The car accident she had arranged last time... Silas Blackwood had been lucky to escape with his life, suffering only minor injuries.

’This is me giving Silas Blackwood one last chance. Otherwise, he can’t blame me for being cruel.’

"I want you to drop dead!" Silas Blackwood cursed. "Where the hell are you? Get the hell out here! You stir up a huge mess and then go into hiding, is that it? Let me tell you, Anna Nash, I don’t want you or that child!"

Anna Nash’s fingernails dug into her flesh. Where no one could see, her face was contorted with rage.

"Silas Blackwood, I’m carrying your child. You have to marry me." Anna Nash dropped the act, her voice losing its earlier syrupy sweetness.

"You’re dreaming. It’s a miracle I haven’t killed you already, and you want me to marry you? Take a good look at yourself. Do you think you’re worthy of me? I was tricked by a bitch like you, that’s the only fucking reason I ever got involved with you. Anna Nash, you disgust me!"

Silas Blackwood was already in an utterly foul mood, and now Anna Nash’s call had become his punching bag.

It wasn’t the first time he had cursed out Anna Nash, but now he wanted to do it more than ever. He felt that everything was that bitch’s fault!

Anna Nash hadn’t expected this from Silas Blackwood. It was clearly his own inability to control his dick, yet he dared to blame her. ’He should take a look at his own shortcomings.’

’Silas Blackwood is so small, you can’t feel a thing. And I had to pretend to be happy with him, moaning so loudly.’

In fact, it was only after being with Gideon Gordon that she knew what real pleasure felt like.

Now, it wasn’t just her expression that was twisted; her mind had become even more warped.

She had given Silas Blackwood his last chance. He was the one who threw it away.

She made another call, this time to Gideon Gordon. "You’ve got his location, right? Do it."

Silas Blackwood walked for two hours and finally made it out of the restricted area to the main road.

His leg, injured in the car crash, hadn’t fully healed, and now it felt like it was about to give out. He had no idea where his driver was parked.

This area was quite desolate. He had just taken out his phone to call his driver when two figures suddenly sprang from the bushes behind him. They clapped a hand over his mouth and dragged him deep into the thicket.

"Mmph... MMPH!" Silas Blackwood’s eyes widened in terror. ’Who are you? What do you want?’

But it was too dark; he couldn’t see a thing.

The men brandished a hammer and brought it down hard on his lower body.

The pain of having his manhood shattered made Silas Blackwood let out a pig-like squeal. "AGHHH!"
