Chapter 160: Chapter 160: How Many Men Have You Called Husband?

The show wasn’t over, but her designs had already been presented.

Nina Scott felt a surge of pleasure as she overheard people discussing her designs.

She decided to find Ivy first. ’I wonder how she’s doing?’

When Nina Scott went over, she was surprised to find a whole row of seats had emptied out.

That conceited, annoying man and his brother were gone. Thea Sherwood and that old man had vanished too.

’When did they all leave? I didn’t notice a thing.’

She hadn’t even had a chance to confront Thea Sherwood, and Thea had already taken off. ’She’s a fast one, I’ll give her that!’

Nina Scott suddenly needed the restroom. Seeing one right nearby, she went straight in.

The moment Nina Scott entered the restroom, she heard noises. ’Who on earth is that woman? Why is she moaning so loudly?’

"Darling... Darling..."

"Gently..."

"Baby, baby."

Nina Scott’s face turned beet red. ’Why does this sort of thing always happen to me?’

’Do these people have no self-control?’

’Doing it in a public restroom... Don’t they find it...?’

’The last time I ran into Quentin Blackwood in a restroom, it didn’t seem like he was actually *doing* anything. This, however, is the real deal.’

The woman’s moans continued, as if she were trying to please the man.

The voice sounded vaguely familiar to Nina Scott. ’Wait... does that sound like Thea Sherwood?’

She had Thea Sherwood on WeChat. Without a second thought, Nina Scott started a video call. Two seconds later, a phone rang from inside one of the stalls.

Nina Scott was floored. It really was Thea Sherwood.

Thea Sherwood was right in the middle of things when her phone suddenly rang, throwing her into a panic.

"Darling, stop for a second." Thea Sherwood pulled out her phone and saw it was Nina Scott.

Her brow tightened. "What does that Nina Scott want?"

She and Nina Scott had never seen eye to eye. A sudden call from her felt suspicious.

Hearing the voice from the stall—and then her own name—Nina Scott’s heart leaped into her throat. ’It really is Thea Sherwood.’

’I’m not letting her get away this time!’

Nina Scott slipped into an adjacent stall, leaving the door cracked just enough to aim her phone’s camera through the gap. She hit record.

Inside the stall, Charlie Rhodes was an older man and didn’t last long to begin with. The phone’s ringing completely broke the mood, and he lost all interest.

He told Thea Sherwood to get dressed, then opened the stall door and walked out.

When a white-haired man who looked to be in his sixties or seventies emerged from the stall, Nina Scott clapped a hand over her mouth in shock.

’Oh my god. I figured Thea was fooling around with other men, but I never imagined it would be with someone *that* old.’

’He’s old enough to be her grandfather!’

’And isn’t that the same man who was sitting next to her at the show?’

’This is disgusting. Thea Sherwood really knows no limits. The guy must be incredibly rich, right?’

A moment later, Thea Sherwood emerged from the stall, her dress back on. She paused at the mirror to straighten her clothes and touch up her face.

Nina Scott kept her hand over her mouth. ’This is major news. I have to tell Ivy!’

’Let’s see how cocky Thea is in front of me after this!’

...

「In the dressing room」

Ivy Sherwood finally breathed a sigh of relief as she watched Charlie Rhodes leave.

She was about to lower her hands from around Quentin Blackwood’s neck, wanting to distance herself from him, to escape his close proximity.

Although Quentin Blackwood had only said two words, "Get out," he had helped her. She should still thank him.

"Thank—"

Before she could get the word out, the man’s arm was around her waist again, yanking her into his embrace and holding her tight.

Ivy Sherwood realized Quentin Blackwood seemed to have a particular fondness for holding her by the waist.

"What did you just call me?" Quentin Blackwood’s voice was tight and hoarse.

His deep eyes were no longer calm and composed; a storm seemed to be brewing in their depths, threatening to erupt and sweep everything away.

"Ah? I..." Panic finally flashed in her clear, doe-like eyes.

A moment ago, she had been completely focused on getting rid of Charlie Rhodes. Only now, in hindsight, did she register that Quentin Blackwood’s tone was off. ’Is he angry?’

"I had no choice just now. I didn’t do it on purpose. Please don’t take it personally, President Blackwood," Ivy Sherwood explained.

’After all, with this face, I’ve only met Quentin Blackwood a few times. We’re practically strangers. Calling him ’Darling’ was definitely inappropriate.’

Knowing she was in the wrong, she lowered her gaze. "If you felt offended, Mr. Blackwood, I’m very sorry. I..."

"It rolled off your tongue so easily. How many men have you called ’Darling’?"

"What?" Ivy Sherwood was taken aback by Quentin Blackwood’s question, freezing for a moment. Then, a deep blush shot up her cheeks, spreading rapidly to the tips of her ears.

A flustered look on her face, she quickly turned her head away, unable to meet his gaze.

"Don’t you understand? What number am I?"

"Hm? Miss Summers?"

Ivy Sherwood’s skin was burning hot. Quentin Blackwood was speaking so closely to her, and calling her "Miss Summers"... it felt even more charged than when he called her his nephew’s wife.

"I... I haven’t..."

’I’ve never called anyone else ’Darling.’ Not a single time.’

As she said it, Ivy Sherwood’s face grew even redder.

She didn’t have a mirror and couldn’t see her own expression, but Quentin Blackwood, standing before her, took it all in. He knew exactly how tempting she looked right now.

’Like this, she’s even more captivating than when she was Ivy Sherwood.’

’Or maybe, it’s a different kind of captivating altogether.’

Quentin Blackwood let out a light, pleased laugh. "Little liar."

Ivy Sherwood didn’t quite hear what he said. All she felt was a sharp sting on her neck. The man had opened his mouth and was actually biting her!

To call it a bite wasn’t entirely accurate. It was more of a suck, and a surprisingly forceful one at that.

After a moment, Quentin Blackwood lifted his head. "You bit me earlier. I’m just returning the favor."

Ivy Sherwood was speechless.

"Are you like this with other women, President Blackwood?"

"Like what?" Quentin Blackwood asked, lowering his head to stare right at her.

"So shameless!"

Quentin Blackwood said nonchalantly, his fingertips tracing a path up her spine. "Am I the shameless one, or is it you, Miss Summers? Weren’t you the one who hugged me, kissed me, and called me ’Darling’?"

A glint of light seemed to catch in Quentin Blackwood’s dark eyes. He tugged at the corner of his lip. "When you put it like that, it sounds like I’m the one at a disadvantage."

Ivy Sherwood was at a loss for words. ’It seems... it seems he’s right.’

"I believe I did you a favor, Miss Summers. How do you plan to repay me?"

"I already said, if you need my help with anything in the future, you can come find me."

"Is that so? And how am I supposed to find you? I don’t even have your contact information, Miss Summers."

’I can’t possibly give Quentin Blackwood my number,’ Ivy Sherwood thought. ’I only have one phone. He’d find out who I am immediately.’

"Why don’t you give me your business card, President Blackwood, and I’ll contact you later?"

"And what if you just run off?"

"I won’t. You can trust me." Ivy Sherwood fluttered her long eyelashes, trying to get him to believe her.

Just then, a KNOCK KNOCK came from the door. "Anyone in there?"

"We’re coming in."

It was a man’s voice. Ivy Sherwood tensed up again and subconsciously buried her face in Quentin Blackwood’s chest, as if trying to hide.
