Chapter 108: Chapter 108: Find Someone to Marry
The next day, Ivy Sherwood woke up and went to wash up.
The sun was shining brightly outside; it looked like it was going to be another beautiful day.
Ivy planned to get some breakfast first. Just as she stepped out of her room, she received a message from Nina Scott, asking what she was up to.
Ivy replied, "About to get breakfast. Have you eaten yet?"
After exchanging a few messages with Nina, Ivy had just reached the restaurant when she heard someone call her name. "Ivy."
"Seth?" Ivy was surprised to run into Seth Scott here. "What a coincidence."
Seth just smiled, not revealing that it wasn’t a coincidence at all. He had asked Nina for help to find out where Ivy was.
Before coming, he’d heard from Nina that Ivy was here.
"It certainly is a coincidence. You haven’t eaten yet, have you?"
Ivy nodded. Seth said, "Let’s eat together then."
Ivy was puzzled. "I did hear from Nina that your whole family came here for vacation. Aren’t you eating with your mother and the others?"
Seth explained, "They wanted to eat in their room. They don’t like how crowded it is out here, so they had breakfast sent up."

"What would you like to eat? I’ll get it for you." Seth picked up a plate, ever the gentleman.
The breakfast here was a buffet if you came to the restaurant, and it was a magnificent spread with both Chinese and Western options.
"No, no, it’s fine. I can get it myself." Ivy picked up a plate of her own.
Not feeling particularly hungry, Ivy got two crystal dumplings and a glass of milk.
"Is that all you’re eating?" Seth looked at Ivy’s nearly empty plate. "You don’t need to lose weight. You’re not fat at all."
"I’m not on a diet, just not very hungry. This is enough for me."
"You should eat a little more. You’re so thin. This looks good, want me to get you a piece?"
As he spoke, Seth used the tongs to pick up a pastry and placed it on Ivy’s plate, giving her no chance to refuse.
"Thank you." With the pastry already on her plate, Ivy couldn’t exactly put it back, so she had no choice but to accept.
The restaurant was quite crowded, and neither of them noticed a tall man standing outside. His gaze pierced through the restaurant’s glass wall, fixed on the two of them, his expression ice-cold.
Ivy remained oblivious, sitting at the same table as Seth, the two of them eating their food.
"Nina mentioned you came with Silas Blackwood. Are you two... getting married?" Seth asked, breaking the silence.
"That’s not happening. There’s nothing between Silas Blackwood and me."
Seth’s eyes were fixed on Ivy. "If you don’t want to marry Silas Blackwood, there’s actually another way."
Hearing this, Ivy was finally interested. "What way?"
"A sham marriage. As long as you find someone first and get the marriage certificate, your family and the Blackwood family can’t force you to commit bigamy."
It was certainly one solution, but Ivy didn’t want to treat something like marriage as a game.
Marriage was a serious matter; she didn’t want to just marry someone casually like that.
"Who would be willing to enter a fake marriage with me? I doubt anyone would be interested in someone like me anyway," Ivy said, her eyes downcast as she took a small bite of a crystal dumpling.
Seth watched her, her long eyelashes like two tiny fans, making his heart flutter.
"That’s not necessarily true. I’m sure someone would be willing."
Ivy gave a self-deprecating smile. "I’d better not bring trouble on someone else. It would cause a lot of problems for them. The Blackwood and Sherwood families would definitely not let him off the hook."

"Not necessarily. What if he’s willing? What if he doesn’t care about going up against the Sherwood and Blackwood families?"
Ivy looked up. "Does someone like that even exist? Who would be willing?"
"I..."
"Huh?" Shock was written all over Ivy’s face.
Seth cleared his throat. "I mean, I’m sure someone would be willing. How will you know no one is willing if you don’t even try?"
Ivy’s heart nearly leaped out of her chest. ’The way Seth leaves his sentences hanging is actually pretty scary,’ she thought.
"Let’s just talk about it later. We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. Let’s not talk about this anymore, it’s ruining the mood."
Seth’s lips parted, but the words he wanted to say were caught in his throat. In the end, he only managed one word: "Okay."
"How’s your brand doing lately? Everything okay?" Seth changed the subject.
Ivy nodded. "Everything’s going well."
A few things had happened, but she wasn’t that close with Seth, so there was no need to tell him everything.
Besides, Seth was probably busy enough managing his own company and life. He didn’t have time to listen to her complain.
"That’s good. If there’s anything you need my help with, don’t hesitate to ask."
Ivy was about to say something when she caught a glimpse of a man sitting down at a table in front of her.
’Quentin Blackwood? Is he here for breakfast too?’
’Then again, Quentin did come down for breakfast himself yesterday morning, so it’s not that surprising.’
’But he’s sitting so close. Did he not see me?’
Suddenly, Ivy didn’t know if she should go over and say hello.
’Maybe I should just go eat with Quentin. Sitting with Seth feels a little stiff.’
Although the pressure of sitting with Quentin might be even greater, Ivy felt more at ease around him.
But it would be rude to just get up and leave suddenly.
Just as Ivy was lost in these thoughts, Seth, who was sitting opposite her, spoke up. "Ivy, what are you thinking about?"
Ivy quickly averted her gaze. "N-nothing. You’re Nina’s brother, so that makes you my brother too. I definitely won’t hesitate!" Ivy said with a slight smile.

"Who the hell do you think you are? What gives you the right to call my brother ’brother’?" A sharp, furious voice suddenly came from behind them.
Yara Scott strode over and sat right next to Seth. She pressed up against him and clung to his arm, acting incredibly intimate.
"Brother, you skipped breakfast with us just to eat with *her*!" Yara glared at Ivy, her eyes filled with hostility.
Although she was the daughter the Scott family had raised by mistake, she was treated just like their biological daughter—in fact, she was even closer to them than Nina, the true heiress.
Seth pulled his arm away. "We just happened to run into each other at the restaurant entrance. Weren’t you eating with Mom?"
"Dad is with Mom. I wanted to come out and see what you were doing, Brother. Brother, I want to eat this."
Yara called them "Dad" and "Mom" with great affection. Even though she wasn’t their biological daughter, she had been calling them that for so many years that it had become a habit she couldn’t break.
Besides, when she said "Dad" and "Mom" around Seth, it made it seem as if they were a real family, sharing the same parents—that Seth’s parents were her parents.
However, when Yara said "Mom and Dad," she wasn’t casting herself in the role of a daughter, but of a daughter-in-law.
Yara wanted to eat something from Seth’s plate, but he said, "There’s plenty more over there. Go get it yourself."
"It’s too much trouble." Yara directly picked up Seth’s chopsticks, used them to grab a piece of food, and put it in her mouth. "It’s not like I’m grossed out by my brother’s things."
After saying that, she shot a sideways glance at Ivy, her look filled with disdain and a trace of hostility.
