Chapter 1911: Chapter 31: The Road to Aigus
"Could it be him?"
A question mark emerged in Zhang Xiaoman’s heart.
The ability to emit such an oppressive force, and in the Demon Realm, even someone like Ni Yang felt threatened. The identity of that person was self-evident.
The Demon Lord—also known as Yan, the name given to him by the Holy Angel Clan. Zhang Xiaoman knew he would face that guy one day, but he didn’t expect it to happen so suddenly.
Fortunately, he had the Original Realm as his trump card, allowing him to hide inside it at critical moments, avoiding a confrontation.
The Original Realm was unlike ordinary small spaces; it was an independent universe. Zhang Xiaoman believed that no matter how powerful the Demon Lord was, he would not stand a chance against him inside the Original Realm.
However, leaving that place outside was not an option. He didn’t know if the opponent would leave any tricks behind there, so for now, being inside the Original Realm was the safest option for him and his companions.
Fortunately, Zhang Xiaoman’s Original Realm was connected to various places in the First Universe and Second Universe, so they were not trapped. At worst, they could return to the Dark Spirit Star Domain and find another way to the Aegis Starfield.
Zhang Xiaoman wanted to visit the Aegis Starfield’s Divine Hidden Palace. He had just heard from Yao Wu and the others that the Divine Hidden Palace was the most powerful force in the Aegis Starfield, also known as the Divine Country.
Judging by the name, Divine Country, Zhang Xiaoman hadn’t witnessed its true power yet, but at least from the name, he could tell that this organization was not small; otherwise, they wouldn’t dare to adopt such a title.
Thus, he now wanted to go and take a look. He had reached the Middle Extraordinary Level, lacking corresponding Divine Domain skills. The few he could grasp were borrowed from Ni Yang, but the quantity was still insufficient because some divine skills were suitable for the Demon Race’s cultivation and not for him.
He looked at the people around him, and the four of them were still in a state of confusion. Perhaps arriving in a new universe left them somewhat bewildered.
At this moment, a figure flew from the void, reaching them in the blink of an eye.
"Star Lord!"
The newcomer was clad in a golden holy armor, exuding a strong holy attribute aura. At this moment, he knelt on one knee with the utmost respect, fitting the image of the Original Realm’s gatekeeper, Naphaya.
Naphaya himself had already reached the peak control level, but in the Original Realm, bolstered by Zhang Xiaoman with law power, he was elevated to the Transcendent Level, making him a deity whose strength was on par with people like Yao Wu in their eyes.
Meanwhile, from another direction, several figures flew over, landing one after another in front of Zhang Xiaoman.
"Lord Jixing!"
At the forefront stood a familiar petite figure, with twelve pairs of golden wings behind her. The holy attribute aura she emitted was even more intense than Naphaya’s. Now, with a happy expression on her face, she hurriedly approached after saluting and said:
"Lord Jixing! I have restored all those souls and bestowed new identities and powers upon them!"
This Holy Angel with twelve golden wings was Yeluo, who spoke while pointing to the six figures standing respectfully behind her.
Zhang Xiaoman followed her gesture and saw that all six appeared as energy bodies glowing with golden light. Their heights and sizes were similar, each adorned with a Holy Light armor, standing with swords, like a lineup of loyal guards protecting Yeluo.
Zhang Xiaoman recognized them; these six were the most powerful souls he had previously extracted from the Wild Beast Makdo. Each of them had extraordinary-level strength in life, and after Yeluo’s restoration and modification, they had become the Apocalypse Knights supporting the reincarnation system of the Divine Country.
When Yao Wu and the others first saw Yeluo, they were startled, as the aura they sensed from her was extremely powerful, on par with the Wild Beast Makdo, which greatly surprised them.
If it were only Naphaya, they wouldn’t be too surprised, as Naphaya, in their eyes, was just an ordinary extraordinary-level being, similar in strength to themselves. Such beings, while not abundant in the Divine Hidden Palace, were not particularly rare.
However, the newly appeared deity before them was different; her aura was shocking, comparable to Makdo, a rarity even in the Divine Hidden Palace, second only to the three palace masters.
In fact, Yeluo’s strength, like Naphaya’s, was overrated. To put it more accurately, she was augmented by the Original Realm. In the outside world, her power would be about the same as Yao Wu’s.
However, the astonishment was not limited to the sudden appearance of Yeluo but rather the individuals behind her.
"Mu Li Han? Is it really you...?"
A goat-bearded man looked at one of the six Apocalypse Knights with disbelief, his eyes filled with astonishment.
The others appeared similarly shocked because Mu Li Han was their friend, who was unfortunately swallowed by Makdo in a previous battle. Everyone originally thought he was dead but unexpectedly found him here.
