In the Mysterious Void, the Master of the Eternal Secret Star stood stunned, guarding the "Sun" as streams of silver power poured out in all directions like a flood.
This was the result of Isaac’s abrupt withdrawal; with nothing left to block it, the power now flowed freely.

After a brief moment of shock, boundless rage followed!
’It had never expected Isaac to be so decisive. Aren’t Mad Witches supposed to be a pack of greedy hyenas and gamblers? Fucking hell, you still had more than half your chips left! Why the hell did you run?!’
It was so furious because the official transaction on the other side was already nearing its end, thanks to its diligent cooperation. The ability being granted was guaranteed to be clean, with no hidden traps.
The reason it had been so cooperative was to free itself up as quickly as possible to deal with the struggle here in the Mysterious Void with its full strength.
Although it had retreated again and again here in the Mysterious Void, losing a great deal of its Authority to Isaac and seeming powerless to resist, it was, after all, an Outer God. Its standing was supreme, and its methods were numerous.

Nearly half of the ritual’s energy remained, but because of its earlier eager cooperation, the bestowal was already in its final stages. It was too late to back out...

Soon, the transaction ritual ended. The Master of the Eternal Secret Star withdrew its gaze from the mortal world, its face a mask of constipated fury. Isaac, on the other hand, cheerfully began to take stock of his gains.
First was the Activation Ability. The Master of the Eternal Secret Star had given him a rather peculiar Magic called the Heart of the Secret Star. Mechanical Bodies activated with this Magic would see a vast improvement in both their intelligence and potential. It was one of the Master of the Eternal Secret Star’s core abilities!
’This is a little beyond my expectations. Based on my own rough deductions, this thing is very likely the Magic used to activate the Master of the Eternal Secret Star itself!’
This puzzled Isaac. ’The foundation of this Magic is excellent; otherwise, it wouldn’t have been used to activate the Master of the Eternal Secret Star. On top of that, after it became an Outer God, this Magic was tinged with a great deal of the [Mysterious], making it even more incredible. Why would the Master of the Eternal Secret Star be so generous?’
What Isaac didn’t know was that this was a painful choice the Master of the Eternal Secret Star had made to complete the ritual transaction as quickly as possible. If it had a choice, it wouldn’t have wanted to give Isaac such a bargain. But it had no other option. This was the only Magic it could bestow at maximum speed without any hidden traps or side effects.
Unfortunately, Isaac’s timely withdrawal caused all of its schemes to fall through, leaving it looking like a clown...
’I don’t get why the Master of the Eternal Secret Star gave me something this good, but who cares? It’s mine now!’
’The ritual went very smoothly. The Master of the Eternal Secret Star had absolutely no opportunity to tamper with it. So, there’s nothing to worry about.’
But aside from the Heart of the Secret Star, the true prize from this ritual was the Authority he had obtained!
As it turned out, his change of target this time was well worth it!
The Authority he obtained from the Master of the Eternal Secret Star was called [Analysis]. It possessed no powerful offensive capabilities on its own and didn’t even come with many decent Authority Magics.
But this was by no means because the Authority was weak. On the contrary, this Authority was very rare!
Extremely rare!
Especially for Wizards!
The Authority of [Analysis] also had another, more grandiose name—Pseudo-Omniscience!
Although the Gods of this world didn’t claim to be omniscient and omnipotent like the gods of Isaac’s previous life—nor could they achieve it—there was no doubt that all Gods were striving in that direction.
This was true for Wizards as well.
In the Wizarding World, "omniscience and omnipotence" was actually defined in two parts: [Omniscience] and [Omnipotence]. These were two of the highest-tier Authorities. It was currently only confirmed that they existed, but no one was known to wield them, not even in the slightest.
Of course, it was also possible that someone had mastered one but was keeping it quiet, waiting for an opportunity to pull a fast one.
This was because, according to long-standing rumors among Wizards, possessing both the [Omniscience] and [Omnipotence] Authorities at the same time would grant one power that surpassed even the Gods!
However, this was merely speculation based on the powers of these two Authorities. No one knew if it was actually true.
The power of [Omniscience] was the ability to know the essence of all things, while the power of [Omnipotence] was the ability to put any theory into practice. Therefore, in theory, combining [Omniscience] and [Omnipotence] would make one truly all-powerful!
Thus, anyone who mastered one of them, as long as they were sane, wouldn’t go announcing it. After all, if the Authority of an Outer God could be snatched, so could anyone else’s.
However, the Authority Isaac now possessed was different. [Analysis] was merely Pseudo-Omniscience. It could also discern the essence of all things, but unlike [Omniscience], it could not do so instantaneously. As its name implied, it was Analysis, and that required time.
But this was still incredibly good, especially for Wizards like Isaac. Knowledge is power, the very source of their strength. By the same token, if [Analysis] could be called Pseudo-Omniscience, then the Extraordinary characteristic of Wizards—converting Knowledge into power—could be called Pseudo-Omnipotence!
Therefore, the Authority of [Analysis] was the absolute core of what it meant to be a Wizard!
Unfortunately, precisely because this Authority was so incredibly important to Wizards, its Cultivation methods were kept under lock and key by the various Wizard Organizations. Only the absolute inner circle could ever come into contact with this Authority, and even then, they had to sign contracts that practically signed their lives away.
That was why Isaac had never before imagined he could obtain this Authority, nor had he even tried. Few Outer Gods possessed it, as Knowledge wasn’t that important to them.
Of course, this didn’t include the Outer Gods who specialized in luring Mad Witches.
The Master of the Eternal Secret Star hadn’t gone to such great lengths to acquire this Authority just to bait someone, either. As a Mechanical Outer God and a product of [Knowledge], it was similar to Wizards in some respects. They also possessed the ability to convert Knowledge into power, just not as comprehensively as Wizards did.
Therefore, Isaac had now firmly landed himself on the Master of the Eternal Secret Star’s kill list. Sooner or later, it would make him pay for the loss it had suffered.
But Isaac couldn’t care less. ’A kill list?’
