Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Honeycomb

Andre looked at the poisons in his hands, the smile on his face growing colder and more terrifying.
Ever since the advent of poisons, Alchemists have been constantly developing all kinds of new toxins.
Some poisons have no strange effects when ingested. They might even seem to help the imbiber, enhancing their Magic Power and Spiritual Power.
But when another person casts a specific Witchcraft, the poison will instantly corrode the imbiber’s insides and devour their life force, leaving nothing behind.
The Potion Andre now held was precisely such a poison, and it was the most virulent of them all.
Even a Level 2 Wizard would die in an instant if they came into contact with this poison.
’So you want to control me? Let’s see if you have what it takes!’
Andre swirled the test tube. Once he confirmed the concoction was a success, he corked the tube and placed it in his Storage Ring.
Next, Andre began to concoct Shadow Poison—a particularly virulent toxin that was colorless, odorless, and could afflict its victims silently.
It took Andre a full four days to successfully concoct the Shadow Poison.
Once the Shadow Poison was complete, Andre placed it in his Storage Ring. He then tidied up his things, put Potato into the Servant Bag, and headed toward Secret Realm No. 1.
’You want to control me, don’t you? Follow me, if you dare!’
Andre made his way to Secret Realm No. 1, received a Token, and imprinted it with his Magic Power. He opened the entrance to Secret Realm No. 1 and slipped inside.
Not long after Andre entered Secret Realm No. 1, Selena, Jesse, Ferguson, and Rite received the news and all rushed toward the secret realm.
At this moment, Andre was already back inside Secret Realm No. 1.
He had come to Secret Realm No. 1 this time not only to harvest more Honeycombs, but also to find the area where Potato had been born.
If he could find where Potato had been born, he could dig up the nest that had nurtured it and take it with him.
And, of course, he had to teach a lesson to those who were scheming against him.
Andre flew through the air, gently descending to the ground with the Power of his Multiple Wings of the Wind.
He then took out a Recording Crystal he had left behind previously and used it to get his bearings.
Soon, Andre identified his location. He was in a place he had passed through before while helping Quint.
Andre got his bearings and headed in the direction of the area he had been responsible for previously.
Just as Andre landed, the entrance to Secret Realm No. 1 opened again. Selena, Jesse, Ferguson, and Rite descended from above, landing one after another.
The moment they touched down, they took out various instruments and began tracking Andre.
Meanwhile, Andre moved swiftly through the jungle, periodically taking out the Recording Crystal and projecting the images recorded within.
After walking for a full day, Andre arrived back at the territory of the Purple Crystal Bee Swarm.
It was now evening in Secret Realm No. 1. The foraging Purple Crystal Bees were returning to their hive with the day’s harvest.
As Andre neared the hive, the Purple Crystal Bee Swarm immediately dropped their harvest, exposed the stingers on their tails, and turned to face him.
But when Andre released his aura, the swarm’s hostility vanished in an instant. Instead, they began to dance in the air around him.
Soon, the Purple Crystal Bee Queen flew out from the hive. It landed on Andre’s head and touched his forehead before settling on his shoulder, where it occasionally nuzzled against his neck.
To the Purple Crystal Bees, the aura of Divine Blood emanating from Andre was overwhelmingly potent, as if their lord had taken physical form and was walking before them.
"I need to take a bit more of the Honeycomb this time," Andre said, reaching out and cradling the two-fist-sized Purple Crystal Bee Queen in his hands.
The Purple Crystal Bee Queen circled twice in Andre’s palms, then flapped its wings a few times in agreement.
Seeing the Queen’s consent, Andre walked toward the swarm’s hive.
He had not taken more than a few steps when three large earthen mounds appeared before him. The top of one of the mounds looked newer than the others.
This was the very mound he had opened the last time he took some of their Honeycomb.
This time, however, Andre didn’t open that mound. Instead, he went directly to the first one, climbed on top, opened the very peak, and removed six layers of Honeycomb.
After taking them, Andre sealed the opening, then hopped over to the second mound and took two more layers of Honeycomb.
Just as Andre was about to seal the opening on the second mound, the Purple Crystal Bee Queen stopped him. It landed on the Honeycomb, signaling that he could take more.
Andre, however, just shook his head. What he had taken was already enough.
Of the eight layers of Honeycomb he had taken, the smallest had a diameter of three meters, while the largest was a full six meters across.
Inside the Honeycomb, the honey had turned a deep, rich gold.
It would take the Purple Crystal Bee Swarm a full year to replenish these eight layers of Honeycomb.
And even then, the new Honeycomb produced in that year would not match the color and efficacy of what he had just taken.
’I can’t just keep taking from you without leaving something in return.’
Andre climbed down from the mound and took a Potion from his Storage Ring, one he had brought specifically for the Purple Crystal Bee Swarm.
Andre uncorked the vial and placed it at the entrance to the hive, allowing the Potion to drip down into the entire nest.
Five seconds later, Andre took another Potion from his Storage Ring and placed it at the entrance of another hive.
Soon, he had used six Potions in total, two for each of the three hives.
After doing all this, Andre looked at the Purple Crystal Bee Queen and spoke.
"You collected pollen from all the Magic Plants in this Secret Realm to build these three hives, which has allowed you to grow to your current level."
"But because of this, you are unable to advance further, to evolve to a higher tier."
"However, things are different with my Potion. It’s a fusion Potion that can merge the mixed Powers within your honey. Before long, you will all become much stronger."
Andre cradled the Purple Crystal Bee Queen, placed it back inside the hive, and then, using the System, sealed away his Divine Blood.
Once his Divine Blood was sealed again, the aura it produced vanished instantly.
The Purple Crystal Bee Queen emerged from the hive one more time, circled Andre twice, and then darted back inside.
