Chapter 244: Chapter 238: Tieyan Exclusive, Truth Delivered, 4 Golem Legions at Full Complement
Zone 19.
Victor Iron Flame stood in a maximum-security, explosion-proof room. Behind him, two tall Alchemy Servants were on standby.
In the center of the room was a large isolation container.
This was the "Big Boy" Allen had promised, delivered just half an hour ago.
"Open it," Victor ordered.
An Alchemy Servant stepped forward and input the Runic key provided by Allen.
Layers of mechanical locks sprang open, and the heavy, custom-made lid slid to the sides.
Victor held his breath and craned his neck to look inside.
A cylindrical metal object lay silently within the container. Its shell was a matte black, leaking no Magic Power fluctuations. It was as quiet as a common piece of pig iron.
Victor reached out and touched the shell. It was cold to the touch.
He could sense the densely packed Runes hidden beneath the metal shell. He didn’t need to perceive Magic Power; his basic instincts alone screamed danger. They were the Crystallized Amplification Runes and the Neutralizing Force Field Rune Array personally inscribed by Allen.
His gaze traveled along the surface of the metal cylinder and suddenly froze.
In the very center of the cylinder was an extremely eye-catching symbol.
It was a crimson, flaming anvil—the sigil of the Tieyan Clan.
The symbol was made with some kind of high-level alchemical etching technique. Its edges were smooth, its colors vibrant, and it even displayed a meticulously crafted gradient effect under the light. Beneath the sigil, a line of small text was engraved:
[An Exclusive for Tieyan, Where Truth Prevails—Proudly Produced by Weisren Heavy Industry].
Victor’s expression instantly stiffened, and the fingers stroking the shell twitched slightly.
’What was it that bastard Allen said during our communication a few days ago?’
"The core materials are extremely rare, the extraction process is complex, the inscription failure rate is as high as ninety percent, I blew up three underground labs..."
Veins bulged one by one on Victor’s forehead, and his face went from red to ashen.
Victor violently kicked one of the Alchemy Servants beside him, pointed at the "Big Boy," and began to curse.
"That black-hearted bastard! He actually had the spare time to give the shell a custom paint job! He even used an anti-corrosion coating!"
He had time for such a detailed, custom paint job and the leisure to etch a greeting in Elvish.
What did this mean? It meant that manufacturing this weapon was extremely easy for Allen, and all that nonsense about "blowing up three underground labs" was a total lie.
’He has a guilty conscience!’
"Three hundred thousand!"
The two Alchemy Servants behind Victor glanced at each other, their Control Cores nearly crashing.
Victor’s chest heaved violently. He ground his teeth and snarled, "Allen Wesren, you’d better pray this thing works. Otherwise, I’m going to Zone 18 and tearing your damn workshop down piece by piece!"
Cursing was one thing, but Victor still waved his hand cautiously. "Seal it up! Without my command, no one is to come within ten meters of it!"
「At the same time. Zone 18, workshop control room.」
DING.
[Account deposit: 150,000 Low-Level Magic Stones. Sender: Victor Iron Flame.]
Allen held a glass of warm water, his expression calm as he looked at the notification on the holographic screen.
"Quality clients are always so prompt," Allen said, setting down his glass. "Jarvis, use this money to directly purchase materials for Golem production."
[Order placed.]
On the holographic sand table, the Black Stone Gobi region to the northwest was changing.
After the strong signal representing the Rock Armor Earth Dragon leader vanished, the vast gobi lost its lynchpin. The remaining Rock Armor Earth Dragons became completely disorganized.
"Bring up the frontline battle report."
The light screen switched.
On the screen, 10 newly built PX-1B Golems were surrounding an adult Rock Armor Earth Dragon. The dragon roared and charged to the left. Three PX-1Bs didn’t evade but advanced in unison, their AT Fields instantly deploying.
A dull thud echoed as the dragon’s massive body was brought to a dead stop.
The PX-1Bs on the right seized the opportunity, continuously firing the beam cannons in their palms at its face.
Several others, equipped with spears made from the tail tips of Crystal Shell Giant Scorpions, stabbed at it relentlessly. Under the constant assault, the dragon slowly collapsed and died.
The entire process didn’t use any expensive Magic Missiles; a First-level Wizard-grade Magical Beast was taken down using only standard close-combat modules.
"The PX-1B’s combat data is very stable," Allen said, looking at the evaluation report. "The decision to mass-produce them was correct. It has significantly improved the Golem Legion’s frontal defense and assault capabilities."
Time flew by on the tedious assembly line.
Five months later, the cleanup operation in the Black Stone Gobi was completely finished.
The Rock Armor Earth Dragon population was wiped out, and some smaller Magical Beast populations were also cleared, all turning into materials for sale in Allen’s warehouse.
This vast, black gobi was officially incorporated into Allen’s territory.
A dozen or so Exploration Golems worked day and night across the vast gobi, successively discovering six new mining sites.
"Report the exploration results," Allen said, standing before the sand table.
[A total of six new mineral veins have been discovered in the Black Stone Gobi region.]
[Vein #14: Red Copper Ore. Medium reserves.]
[Vein #15: Associated Gray Lead Ore. Massive reserves.]
[Vein #16: Low-Grade Earth Element Crystal Ore. Extremely small reserves.]
[Veins #17, #18, and #19: Standard Black-Vein Iron Ore.]
Allen looked at the data, not particularly disappointed.
’Even though I didn’t hit any SSRs, these are all solid, basic materials for Golems.’
A vein on the level of a Seed of Crystallization was a once-in-a-lifetime find anyway. Once these six mines were fully operational, they would allow his logistics and supply chain to become partially independent of the fortress’s procurement.
Allen’s finger swiped across the display. "Their value isn’t high, true, but this is the lifeblood of an industrial system. Develop all of them. Decommission the Black Stone outpost and assign guard squads to the new mines."
[Planning mining routes. Recommend simultaneous construction of an underground transport tunnel.]
"Deploy the Pioneers," Allen commanded. "Have Unit 1 and Unit 2 start from beneath the main workshop and drill in a straight line. Connect all six of these new mines to the Underground Great Wall network."
[Command confirmed.]
Without realizing it, Allen was now in his seventh year in this world.
The armament iteration plan was complete, and all four Golem Legions were at full strength!
On the sand table, four dense matrices of blue light points shimmered, like four unsheathed swords.
The standard complement for each legion was: 50 PX-1B heavy infantry units, 5 PX-1 units, 20 Purgatory Launch Platforms, 10 Demon Eye II units, 3 Demon Eye III units, 12 Storm Falcons, and 100 Spider Slayer II units serving as reconnaissance and roving units.
Four full-fledged, modernized, mixed Golem Legions, plus six Freedom Gundams on standby—this terrifying force was a testament to the power of a fully developed Golem Wizard.
From the first few Pacifistas to the steel tide of today.
Allen looked at the mechanical empire he had built with his own hands and placed his hands on his hips in satisfaction.
"This feeling of having my firepower-deficiency phobia cured... it’s pretty nice."
He pulled up his personal status panel.
[Cultivation Progress:]
[1. Fourth Core Matrix (Wizard Stage): 18/36]
[2. Fourth Mind Sub-thread (Wizard Stage): 12/15]
His personal cultivation hadn’t fallen behind during this time either.
The huge amount of Magic Stones he’d gained from the minerals allowed him to purchase all the cultivation supplies on the market without a second thought.
"Jarvis, update the strategic map."
The full map of Zone 18 appeared on the sand table. The blue area now covered eighty percent of the territory.
"It’s time to add the last piece to the puzzle of my territorial expansion."
Allen turned, his finger swiping lightly across the sand table.
On the holographic map of Zone 18, vast areas were now filled with blue, leaving only two glaring red zones.
The Lava Lake to the direct south, and the fog-shrouded Silent Abyss not far from his workshop.
