Even though Lin Fan had just come back to Dungeon City, he headed off once again once he got the information that he needed from the minister of the left.

It seemed like no one was planning on letting him take a break.

It seemed that everything was coming for him at once with the way that things developed.

But still, Lin Fan didn’t complain and just went along with it since he knew that this was for the good of the Mu Empire. Though the thing that he was more concerned about was naturally the safety of the people that he cared about.

The best way to ensure that was to ensure the safety of the Mu Empire that they lived in.

So he really had no choice but to take care of this matter even if he wanted to stay in Dungeon City.

As for where he was heading, it was to another one of the cities of the Mu Empire.

During this time, Lin Fan had been brought to all the different parts of the Mu Empire through dealing with the invaders.

The first city that he went to where Eve was located was a city to the south, the second city that he went to was a city to the north, and now he was heading to a city to the west.

Following that logic, the next city that he would have to go to after this was a city to the east, right?

There was still a fourth continent that hadn’t made their move yet…

But before that, he had to deal with these people that were abducting cattle.

Though he set off for this city in the morning, Lin Fan didn’t rush to that city and took his time traveling. That was because there was nothing for him to do if he were to rush to that city.

The ones that were abducting the cattle were doing it during the night, so it wasn’t as if going there in the day would actually help him catch them. The only one to catch them in action was to go there in the middle of the night.

So Lin Fan took his time heading to that city.

When he arrived, the sun was already setting and it was getting dark.

Only Lin Fan didn’t enter the city.

Instead, he went around the edges of the city, looking through the different farmlands that were around the city. These were the places that the cattle were, so these were the places where the ones abducting the cattle would go.

While he made his way through these places, Lin Fan dropped a few rats down every so often.

With these rats, he created a surveillance net in addition to the surveillance net provided by the dungeon. Though the surveillance net that the dungeon gave him wasn’t as reliable as the net that these rat spies gave.

The surveillance net formed by the dungeon was only able to see what was above them to a certain altitude. If the ones abducting the cattle were using a flying machine, then it wouldn’t be able to detect them.

That was why the rats came into play.

Once he had finished setting everything up, Lin Fan went near the city and waited.

It didn’t seem like anything was going to happen as he sat there in his waiting place. It seemed that whatever had been abducting cattle had finished with whatever they were doing since they didn’t show themselves at all.

But then all of a sudden, Lin Fan noticed something with his surveillance net.

Or rather Greeny noticed something and called out to Lin Fan.

"Lead me there."

As soon as Lin Fan said that, Greeny sent an image to his mind and a path for him to follow to reach the place where Greeny noticed the thing.

As he was heading in that direction, Lin Fan had a strange look on his face.

That was because of the image that Greeny sent to his mind.

It was a dot in the sky that almost seemed like a star, but it wasn’t that since Lin Fan could see even now that it was moving through the sky. The speed that it moved with was definitely not what a shooting star would look like.

At the same time, the trajectory that it moved with was definitely different from a shooting star.

It was clear that there was something that was controlling this dot of light as it flew through the sky.

After a while, Lin Fan finally reached the location that the image was coming from and he even found the rat that was watching the dot in the sky. At the same time, he was able to find the dot in the sky for himself.

It really didn’t seem like it was planning to do anything with the way that it floated across the sky like that.

That was until it suddenly stopped.

Looking at the area that it stopped in, Lin Fan could see that it was right above what seemed to be a residence. This seemed to be a normal farm that could be found anywhere around this city.

Were they here to abduct even more cattle?

Lin Fan couldn’t help slightly knitting his brows seeing this since it didn’t make any sense for them to do this alone. Just abducting cattle wasn’t going to give them any information at all…

But to his surprise, the dot didn’t move away as it just remained above the house itself. It didn’t go anywhere near the barn where the cattle were sleeping, it just remained where the humans were.

Then before he could react, there was this beam of light that suddenly came down.

The beam of light just went right through the roof of the building and seemed to go into the bedroom of the residence. After this beam of light remained there for a bit, there was someone that started floating up.

This person seemed to go right through the roof itself with the beam of light carrying them up into the sky. It didn’t seem like they made any contact with the roof with how the beam of light brought them up.

Was this the special technology that this unidentified flying object possessed?

That was the thought that Lin Fan couldn’t help thinking when he saw this happen, but then he focused on the person being brought up into the ship.

With the light from the beam, Lin Fan was also able to see the appearance of the ship itself.

It was a UFO.

It was an actual UFO.

He had been calling it a UFO because it seemed appropriate, but he never thought that it would actually be the same thing as the UFOs from his past life. It was a circular and round floating object that was a perfect representation of what people thought UFOs were like in his past life.

There was even a part of him that wondered if this was designed by someone that came from the same place as him…

He had met someone that had come from the same place, so there might be a chance that there was someone else that came from the same place.

But after seeing that person being pulled into the ship, Lin Fan didn’t hesitate anymore as he suddenly jumped out into the night. He used his spiritual energy to bring himself up to the UFO and then found a way to enter it.

It seemed that there were many different openings in this UFO for him to enter.

However, he didn’t know if he would be able to get anywhere from those openings.

Still, in a worst case scenario, he would just smash his way through.

After entering the UFO, he started looking around to see what was around him. It didn’t take him long to find that he was in some kind of enclosed space.

It seemed that he had been right about this place not having a way in…so he just lifted his hand as if he was about to punch his way in. Only before that could happen, the door that was behind him suddenly closed and there was another door that opened.

Lin Fan was surprised to find that this new entrance was actually lit up and seemed to lead into the ship.

That made him wonder just what these doors were even for…

It seemed like all it did was make it easy for intruders to sneak on board…

But he didn’t stay long enough to keep questioning this and it was a good thing that he moved in time since the entrance actually closed not long after. It seemed that space was used for some kind of function by the ship, only he had no idea what it was since he didn’t recognize the technology.

When Lin Fan stepped into the interior of the ship, he couldn’t help being surprised.

That was because he found this place to be a bit familiar…

It was as if he had seen this place before.

Well, it wasn’t that he had seen this place itself before, rather he had seen something similar to this before.

When he thought about it for a bit, he was finally able to figure it out.

"The Yong Family." Lin Fan couldn’t help muttering to himself.

This was similar to the research facility that the Yong Family had set up back then.

It wasn’t exactly the same, but the style was the same as that research facility.

So it seemed that he was right, this place was related to that other continent.
