Chapter 314: Chapter 232: Moon Elf, Jade Hook Spirit Wood

"Ling!"

Yin Yi sent back a firm confirmation through its Spiritual Power.

"Alright then. Start frantically absorbing the Spiritual Energy around you."

Han Ning’s gaze sharpened as he said in a low voice.

Upon hearing this, Yin Yi used all its might to furiously absorb all the Energy from the void.

The three Star Cores floating above seemed to brighten slightly.

The next second.

The Wood Type Crystal Stones on the platform erupted with a dazzling cyan light, trembling violently.

The light grew richer and richer.

The entire stone platform, over thirty meters long and wide, was enveloped in brilliant Starlight, turning it shades of yellow, red, and blue.

Starlight is not a single color; it produces different sheens depending on the temperature and internal mineral composition of the celestial body.

A violent, massive storm of Spiritual Energy abruptly formed, becoming a hurricane that raged outwards in all directions.

Han Ning shielded his face with his arm, trying to see what was happening on the platform.

Then, he felt a mysterious force gently wrap around his waist and lift him into the night sky, allowing him to look down on the platform.

It was Qingyao, who had used his chains to suspend them in midair so Han Ning could get a better view and give commands.

At first, a wisp of Starlight mixed with Wood Type Spiritual Energy darted rapidly around Yin Yi. It moved faster and faster until a massive amount of Energy was drawn toward it.

A few seconds later.

BOOM!

A pillar of light that pierced the heavens and shook the earth appeared. The entire platform became like a giant, four-colored luminous body, emitting a dazzling, mixed light that bathed the surroundings in the brilliant colors of a sunset.

"A miracle... Lord Han Ning must be an emissary of the Divine Beings," Ah Yu muttered to herself, squinting as she watched Yin Yi’s form in the center of it all.

"Such powerful Spiritual Energy. It’s already comparable to the entire Spiritual Energy reserves of an Upper Lord."

Hom clicked his tongue in amazement. "Your Human Race’s methods of cultivation are in no way inferior to the Alatake Clan’s or even our own Witch Spirit Race’s."

Han Ning’s expression was grim. He didn’t reply, because he felt the Spiritual Power bridge connecting him to Yin Yi had suddenly been severed.

He frantically tried to re-establish contact with the Yin Yi inside the pillar of light.

But it was no use.

The pillar of light poured Energy, injecting it madly into Yin Yi’s body.

Suddenly, a high-pitched, piercing sound rang out.

With a solemn expression, Han Ning’s eyes glowed brightly. In that instant, he realized that Yin Yi had vanished.

’No, not vanished. I can still sense its presence. To be precise, has it undergone Elementalization?’

Han Ning muttered to himself and focused his Spiritual Power into his eyes, shifting his vision to an elemental perspective.

The scenery before him changed in a flash.

The spire and platform were gone.

In their place were countless, aimlessly drifting particles of different colors.

And when he turned his gaze to the platform below...

Countless tiny, four-colored shimmering particles had formed a massive particle storm. The eye of the storm was right where Yin Yi was located.

The silhouette of a tree, constructed purely from multicolored particles that burned like flames, was rapidly taking shape in the center of the platform.

"Elementalization..." Han Ning murmured.

[The Soul Beast is about to break through to Lord Level. Please administer the Jade Hook Potion in time to meet the evolution requirements.]

At the same time.

[The temperature at the center of the platform has reached 550°C. The radiation level has increased further, reaching Disaster Level.]

Han Ning no longer hesitated, sending a message with his Spiritual Power: "Yin Yi, take the Jade Hook Potion!"

Yin Yi, within the particle storm, clearly heard his command. It discreetly crushed the potion and absorbed the liquid inside with its tendrils.

RUMBLE~

A heatwave of radiation and Elemental Particles billowed out.

In an instant, Yin Yi’s form was submerged within the sky-piercing beam of light.

This beam was a composite, formed from the three-colored Starlight, Wood Type Particles, Yin Yi’s own genetic factors, the potion, and the Demon Spirit genetic factors from the ritual materials.

The red talisman on the ground, which snaked like an earthworm to the center of the platform, lit up with a brilliant glow.

The ten Soul Beast Crystal Stones on the periphery instantly melted, turning into a liquid-like green substance that flowed into the Runes.

In the sky, a vast amount of the three-colored Starlight, drawn by Yin Yi, gathered as if alive at the center of the platform.

Yin Yi’s blurry figure, still in its elemental state, began to change once more.

It was as if the Creator was not satisfied with the small tree’s shadow on the ground.

After a distorted blur, Yin Yi’s tree-form Energy Body slowly transformed. It changed from the shape of a plant into a fifty-meter-diameter, spherical, high-energy radiator that pulsed with starlight.

This Energy Body resembled a miniature star, its surface covered in a layer of fine patterns that seemed to contain mysterious principles.

It levitated above the center of the platform, rotating at high speed.

At first, the surface of the sphere was a warm yellow, like the sun just rising in the East at dawn.

The light was not scorching, but pleasantly warm.

Time slowly passed.

The sphere’s color changed from orange-red, gradually to white, until it was like the scorching sun at high noon in summer—pure, incandescent white, and dazzling to behold.

When the sphere had completely transformed into a scorching orb emitting a brilliant glow, its surface slowly began to be tinged with a jade-white color.

The jade-white spread.

Then, the once-blazing, magnificent white fireball transformed into a jade-white moon. The searing heat vanished, its radiance now contained within.

Finally, as the sphere continued to rotate, it became a luminous Energy Body glowing with a jade-white light and began to grow new structures outward...

A dense network of roots explored outward from the void, plunging into the stone platform.

Its upper half continued to grow toward the sky, radiating thick branches and leaves upward in a fan shape, with the sphere at its center.

And that gentle, jade-white moon slowly rose, levitating among the fan-like branches and emitting a clear, soft Starlight.

WHOOSH~

The wind of Energy Particles blew violently.

The silhouette of light and shadow continued to expand, expand, expand!

Finally... after expanding to its limit, the Energy Body slowly began to shrink.

Then, what seemed to be the powder of its former body, whipped up by the Spiritual Energy storm, began to rapidly orbit Yin Yi’s Energy Body. A Flowing Light, representing the breath of Life and echoing with a faint, ethereal song, suddenly shot out of the vortex. It began to circle and spiral endlessly around Yin Yi.

Gradually, the jade-white Energy Body became like fired porcelain, slowly turning transparent and revealing a complex physical structure within.

Next—the Body’s Growth was complete, and the jade-white moon-disc vanished completely among the blooming branches and leaves.

Afterward, a crown, trunk, and leaves began to form, washed into existence by the Spiritual Energy.

Immediately after, it broke free from the pull of the earth and flew into the sky, heading toward the Star Cores above. It flew to the very edge of Han Ning’s vision, to a place completely submerged in Starlight.

Han Ning saw the three Star Cores overhead seem to brighten a fraction more. Above them, Yin Yi bathed in the Starlight, absorbing the shimmering lights on its body one by one.

A few minutes later, the light on Yin Yi’s body completely disappeared, and its figure plummeted from the sky.

"Lingling!" Han Ning reached out and expertly caught a small, adorable little creature.

Yin Yi’s appearance had undergone a dramatic change.

Its body, originally about the size of a human, had bizarrely shrunk, becoming a tiny "Demon Spirit" no bigger than a cat.

At this point, its size was no longer a meaningful measure of its power.

Its pupils burned with a jade-white flame, like moonlight. Its leaves were a base of yellowish-white, crisscrossed with bewitching silver stripes. Its central body seemed to be woven from countless jade-white vines, bearing some resemblance to its previous form.

But compared to a Cyan Jade Wood Demon, Yin Yi’s dense roots at its base had become a cluster of flames that burned quietly, ethereal and flickering, white with a faint yellow luster.

The original form of a Jade Hook Spirit Wood shouldn’t have two arms, but in order to emulate Han Ning’s human appearance, Yin Yi had apparently deliberately formed two arms on either side of its trunk. They were made of jade-white vines and resembled the lotus root arms of the mythological figure Nezha.

The blooming white flower on its head had been replaced by branches that fanned out and tilted slightly backward.

The surface of the branches was covered in countless jade-white blossoms.

And in front of the fanned-out branches, a magnificent, pure white Jade Disc continuously appeared and disappeared.

"So beautiful..."

Han Ning was momentarily lost in thought as he looked at the Yin Yi in his arms, which was like an exquisite work of art.
