There was a pause on the other end for a second, then the hurried voice of the man came through, "When did this happen?"

"Don’t move! I’ll come over right now!"
"Okay! Drive safely, I’ll wait for you!" Lin Ruoxuan hung up the phone and anxiously waited.
The police were very efficient. It didn’t take long before they found out Lin’s father’s location and arranged for someone to meet him. The path was clear.
Sitting in the police car, Lin Ruoxuan’s heart beat wildly.
She knew she had made a fatal mistake in her decision. She should have captured her father earlier to personally clarify the full story and then find a way to avert this tragedy!

"Have you gone mad?!" Mr. Lin exclaimed in horror.
Lin Ruoxuan said, "You could also choose not to forgive me!"
