Chapter 797: Chapter 796: Leaving
The two reached a consensus, so they left together.
Song Yuhan opened the car door, letting Liu Zheng get in, and then she walked around the front of the car and got into the driver’s seat.
Once Liu Zheng had settled in, he looked at her and smiled mischievously.
Song Yuhan didn’t notice his unusual smile; she started the engine and drove towards a nearby residential area.
Throughout the drive, neither of them spoke; the atmosphere was a bit awkward.
Liu Zheng’s gaze occasionally shifted towards Song Yuhan, staring at her intensely, making Song Yuhan very uncomfortable.
Unable to bear it any longer, she blurted out, "Liu Zheng, what are you looking at me for? Is there something dirty on my face?"
"No."
"Then why do you keep staring at me? Is there something on your mind?" Song Yuhan asked, frowning.
"Oh, I just wanted to see how pretty our darling Hanhan really is," Liu Zheng said seriously.
At this, Song Yuhan couldn’t help but laugh and roll her eyes.
She was really at her wit’s end with this guy.
The car stopped in front of a luxurious villa. Liu Zheng got out first and opened the passenger door for her, extending his arm in a welcoming gesture, "After you!"
"Thank you!" Song Yuhan politely thanked him as she got out of the car.
She followed behind Liu Zheng and entered the villa.
Inside, a maid was already waiting respectfully. Seeing Liu Zheng, she quickly approached and asked, "Young master, you’re back?"
"Yes."
"Is there any special occasion today, young master?"
"No, just out shopping with my sister."
"Oh..." The maid nodded in realization, glancing at the woman standing next to Liu Zheng, "It’s your sister! Please come in!"
"Thank you, Liu Zheng."
"You’re welcome!"
Liu Zheng led Song Yuhan through the hall into the living room, where they sat down on the sofa.
At that moment, a girl in her early twenties came over with a cup of tea and handed it to Liu Zheng.
"Young master, please enjoy your tea."
"Thank you!"
The girl stepped aside.
"This is my assistant," Liu Zheng introduced, "she’s our butler."
"Hello, Miss Song, my name is Zhang Xinyi, nice to meet you!"
"Hello, Miss Zhang!"
"Zhang Xinyi," the girl said with a giggly smile.
"Xinyi, go and make me a cup of Longjing tea in the kitchen."
"Yes, young master."
After the girl responded, she turned and left.
"Sis, would you like some tea?" Liu Zheng asked Song Yuhan.
"The teas are pretty ordinary, no need to bother."
"Then I won’t bother you."
"You don’t need to bother me."
"It’s no trouble at all; I’m happy to do it."
Song Yuhan: "..."
"By the way, where are you staying tonight?" Liu Zheng asked.
"I’ll just stay at some hotel," Song Yuhan said.
She really was fed up with Liu Zheng.
"A hotel? That’s too far, and you have to work tomorrow. It’s not safe!"
"Then... do you have a room?" Song Yuhan asked hesitantly.
"Uh..." Liu Zheng scratched his head, "I do have a few apartments, but... others have stayed in them; it wouldn’t be appropriate, right?"
Before he could finish, the girl came out from the kitchen with a cup of tea.
"Young master, your Longjing tea, please enjoy."
Liu Zheng quickly took it and said, "Thank you!"
Zhang Xinyi gave him a shy smile, then turned and went back to the kitchen.
"Go ahead, drink!"
"Thank you!" Liu Zheng took a sip.
"This has Longjing tea added; it will definitely soothe your stomach!"
"Mm, thank you!"
"You’re welcome!"
Liu Zheng sipped his tea while staring at Song Yuhan.
He realized that Song Yuhan was even more beautiful than she appeared in the photos, almost as if she had stepped out from a comic book.
He had never seen someone transform a painting in such a way before.
Not only could she enhance the beauty of the people in her paintings to the ultimate degree, but she could also capture their features exquisitely.
As Liu Zheng’s gaze continued to be bold and fiery, Song Yuhan’s heartbeat involuntarily skipped a beat, and she became tense.
She took a deep breath, trying to regulate her emotions, then started driving.
"Oh, sister, the girl we met earlier is named Zhang Xinyi. She is a nanny I hired after returning from studying abroad. She has been working in this villa for a while."
"Why did you suddenly hire a nanny?" Song Yuhan asked in surprise.
"Because I think her cooking skills are very good, so I kept her at home!"
"I see," said Song Yuhan lightly.
The layout and decoration of this villa were to her taste, and she had thought Liu Zheng had hired a professional chef to cook for her. To her surprise, it was just a girl.
It seemed her place in Liu Zheng’s heart was not that important.
She suddenly felt a wave of disappointment.
The people in Liu Zheng’s home were not very welcoming towards her.
"Sister, you won’t mind, will you? I didn’t consider everything thoroughly. If there’s anything not well done, please point it out."
"It’s okay. Whoever you hired must be excellent! I won’t mind."
"That’s good."
Neither of them spoke again during the drive.
Soon, the car reached the villa where Liu Zheng lived.
Liu Zheng got out of the car, opened the door, then helped Song Yuhan out, "Sister, please get out of the car!"
Song Yuhan got out of the car and stood beside Liu Zheng. "Thank you!"
"You’re welcome!" Liu Zheng smiled slightly and led her into the living room.
The living room was spacious, with several sofas, and the coffee table was filled with various snacks and beverages, along with a TV and other entertainment facilities.
There were also several pots of green ivy beside the sofas.
Song Yuhan looked around and was surprised to find that in addition to sofas and a coffee table, the walls were covered with all sorts of posters and advertisements.
It seemed Liu Zheng often watched these entertainment shows.
A thought suddenly crossed Song Yuhan’s mind.
She remembered that the old Liu Zheng also loved to read magazines and gossip.
Could it be that he fancied her because she was beautiful?
Many handsome guys in this world were just like that!
Song Yuhan pondered and then fixed her gaze on Liu Zheng.
She wanted to know if Liu Zheng was like the others—after all, who could reject such a high-quality, handsome young man?
"Sister, I’m going upstairs first. I’ll come back down for dinner," Liu Zheng said with a slight smile.
Song Yuhan nodded and watched him leave.
Liu Zheng reached the staircase and suddenly turned around, "Sister, we are family, no need to be so formal."
Upon hearing this, Song Yuhan paused, then answered with a smile, "I know!"
Liu Zheng nodded slightly, then disappeared around the corner.
Once he was gone, Song Yuhan breathed a sigh of relief.
From his expression just now, it seemed he had forgotten what he had done in the past.
It looked like he wasn’t too flirtatious.
Thinking this, Song Yuhan felt slightly better.
Liu Zheng went back to his bedroom upstairs, took out his phone, and dialed a number.
"Hello!" a noisy DJ’s voice rang through the phone, along with deafening music.
"It’s you. I thought I heard wrong," a girl’s voice came from the other side.
Liu Zheng: "Didn’t I ask you to do something for me?"
"Of course."
"Help me find a girl named Song Yuhan and ask her out."
"Why are you looking for her?"
"Her identity is special. I need to confirm whether she is indeed my sister."
"Your sister? Since when did you have a sister?"
"I don’t remember having a sister; just help me find her and send the information to my email immediately!"
"Why are you so eager to find her?"
