"You have a heart, after all. I’ve decided, you’re accompanying me shopping today!" Lin Ruoyun declared.
"You girl, acting as if this is your home, thinking about ’buy, buy, buy’!" Liu Zheng said with a wry smile.
"Hmph, I’ve had enough of this hotel. If it wasn’t for you insisting on me coming here, I wouldn’t have wanted to come at all."
"That’s not my fault. The owner of this hotel is just a super bumpkin; I don’t even want to deal with him!" Liu Zheng replied.
Lin Ruoyun pursed her lips, "Alright, since you’re going to accompany me shopping, I’ll reluctantly accept. Who else would I be but your fiancée?"
Liu Zheng rolled his eyes helplessly, "Okay, okay, you win. I promise to go shopping with you. But just so you know, today is the weekend, and there won’t be any customers. I’m only responsible for carrying your things; don’t expect me to pay!"
Hearing this, Lin Ruoyun suddenly felt embarrassed.
"Cough cough... Well, I forgot that today is Saturday." Lin Ruoyun scratched her cheek awkwardly, "You’re right, I should be going to work."

Parked at the entrance of the hotel were several black Bentley sedans, and Lin Ruoyun recognized them at a glance as the luxury cars her father, Lin Zhenhua, had given her.
"Your dad gave you the car?" Liu Zheng asked.
Lin Ruoyun nodded, "Yeah."
Liu Zheng was slightly surprised.
"But I’ve already told the driver to park it," Lin Ruoyun explained.
Liu Zheng nodded again.
The two went to the garage.
Lin Ruoyun unlocked the car door and sat in the driver’s seat.
Liu Zheng noticed that Lin Ruoyun’s driving skills were not proficient; it was clearly her first time driving.
"Hey, do you even know how to drive?" Liu Zheng asked.
"Hmph, of course, I do. This car is the one my father specifically had his most trusted bodyguard drive to pick me up and drop me off from school. I’m his only daughter; how could my dad allow me to take a taxi to and from school?" Lin Ruoyun said proudly, puffing out her chest.
"Really? That’s a shame!" Liu Zheng feigned regret.
"Cut it out, just pretend!"
Lin Ruoyun looked at Liu Zheng with disdain.
"I’m not pretending," Liu Zheng replied.
Lin Ruoyun said, "I don’t care. I’m going shopping now, and you have to accompany me. Otherwise, you can sleep in the living room tonight!"
Liu Zheng was speechless.
He had initially planned to find Qin Ruoxue, discuss this matter with her, and then go back together. Now, he ended up accompanying Lin Ruoyun shopping, a turn of events that left him speechless.
"Alright!"
Liu Zheng could only nod his head.
"That’s better." Lin Ruoyun said.
Lin Ruoyun started the car.
Heading north, the two quickly left the urban area.
Liu Zheng looked at the scenery outside the window and said, "You little missy, you usually like to hang around the suburbs; I didn’t expect that this time you’d be heading towards the bustling area."
Lin Ruoyun pursed her lips and said, "That’s right. Although I’m usually in the city center, I can’t miss out on these upscale places."
As she spoke, she couldn’t help but sneak a glance at Liu Zheng by her side.
She noticed that although Liu Zheng’s clothing was simple and even appeared a bit shabby, his skin was still pale and delicate, soft to the touch, even better than a girl’s. Moreover, his eyebrows were thick, his nose bridge was high, and his facial features were especially refined and three-dimensional.
What mattered most was that Liu Zheng’s skin was so good it seemed like a girl’s, even better than that of celebrities!
"Why are you staring at me?"
Suddenly, Liu Zheng’s voice came from beside Lin Ruoyun’s ear.

Liu Zheng said with a mischievous smile.
Lin Ruoyun gave him a sidelong glance and didn’t respond to Liu Zheng, continuing to look out the window.
Liu Zheng chuckled and said no more.
His eyes stayed on the scenery outside the window, filled with amazement.
Lin Ruoyun didn’t mind it either.
She thought to herself that she would prefer to live quietly in a small city like this with Liu Zheng, rather than go to a big city because it was too noisy, and she was not accustomed to it at all.
Before long, the car entered a road with an elegant environment and few people around.
"Wow, I never thought it would be so beautiful in the city area. There must be a lot of fun places around here, right?"
Liu Zheng exclaimed.
Lin Ruoyun said, "Of course, I’ll show you around!"
She gunned the engine, and the car’s speed instantly soared.
In the blink of an eye, Liu Zheng and Lin Ruoyun disappeared from view.
"Geez, this girl, even driving a car she can ditch me, how infuriating!"
Liu Zheng complained loudly.
Hearing this, Lin Ruoyun burst into laughter.
She sped along the road with the car.
"Brother Liu Zheng, this is the eastern district of Jiangnan. Do you know how many big shopping malls there are here?"
Lin Ruoyun asked with a smile.
"Probably around three or four hundred."
Liu Zheng replied.
Lin Ruoyun said, "That many, huh? We can enjoy ourselves shopping around!"
"Won’t it delay your time?" Liu Zheng asked.
"Not at all, this place is the most expensive in the whole country. Of course, I’ve got to make a good selection!"
Lin Ruoyun said.
"So, where shall we go?" Liu Zheng asked.
"I don’t know either. I usually just wander around casually when I go shopping; I rarely come to these business districts, so I don’t know where to go." Lin Ruoyun shook her head, looking bewildered.
"Alright then!" Liu Zheng sighed.
Driving the car, Lin Ruoyun toured the various department stores in Jiangnan, and finally, Lin Ruoyun chose a branded clothing store.
"Let’s try on an outfit!"
Lin Ruoyun looked at the clothes inside the store and said.
Liu Zheng was startled and said, "No way, we’re not here to buy clothes."
"You don’t understand. A lot of people here love beauty, especially some young and beautiful girls."
Lin Ruoyun explained.
Liu Zheng smiled, "That’s true; you do have a sharp eye."
Lin Ruoyun shot him a look, "Quit the flattery."
After saying that, she walked into the store, with Liu Zheng following.
The store manager came forward to greet them. Lin Ruoyun picked up a dress and said to Liu Zheng, "Bring out the best clothes in your store for me to try."
Liu Zheng glanced at the dress and couldn’t help feeling a bit disappointed.
He knew Lin Ruoyun’s figure; that kind of dress was simply too big for her, and it would be too tight.
Seeing that Liu Zheng had no reaction, Lin Ruoyun asked, "What? Don’t you like it? Why don’t you look somewhere else then?"
"No need, no need."
Liu Zheng hurriedly waved his hands, he didn’t dare to go anywhere else. He was afraid Lin Ruoyun would make him visit another store, which would be more torturous than death.
"Then please hurry up a little."
Lin Ruoyun said as she glanced at the time.

A short while later, Lin Ruoyun changed into her clothes and came out of the fitting room.
Today, Lin Ruoyun wore a light blue dress that matched her hair and made her look very pure and attractive, especially the V-neck design at the chest that revealed her proud bosom without reservation.
She stood next to the mirror, glanced at herself, then looked at Liu Zheng and smiled slightly.
"What do you think?"
