Chapter 580: Chapter 579 Too Polite

"Zhenfei, you are too modest. Achieving such success is already quite remarkable; you should know that, in this city, those who claim the top two spots are usually sons and daughters from top-tier families."

"Zhenfei, how about we go inside and have a cup of tea together?"

"Yeah! Zhenfei, we really admire you and would love to become friends with you!"

"....."

"Haha, my brothers, you flatter me too much!" Liu Zhenfei, upon hearing everyone’s praise, burst into joy, a radiant smile spreading across his face as he laughed heartily. He then led the group into the mansion.

Inside the mansion, Liu Zheng encountered numerous young people.

These youngsters were friends invited by Liu Zhenfei, all acquaintances he had made in the city, who would normally play mahjong, drink, and chat together.

Liu Zheng wasn’t very familiar with these people and just exchanged a few casual pleasantries before Liu Xueling, took him toward Liu Zhenfei’s part of the mansion.

"Xueling, let’s go wait for him in the living room first," Liu Zhenfei said tenderly as he turned his head to look at Liu Xueling.

"Okay." Liu Xueling nodded and then accompanied Liu Zhenfei into the living room.

Inside the living room, at that moment, Liu Zhenfei’s parents were sitting on the sofa drinking tea. When they saw Liu Zhenfei coming in, they quickly put down their cups and said with a smile, "Zhenfei, you finally decided to come see us?"

"Mom and Dad, I’ve missed you too!" Liu Zhenfei said with a slight smile, then turned to Liu Zheng and asked, "This is...?"

"Dad, this is Mr. Liu Zheng; he gets along well with my brother," Liu Xueling explained.

"Liu Zheng, hello. You young people have a lot to discuss among yourselves, so we won’t keep you—feel free to do as you like," Liu Zhenfei said with a smile.

"Okay." Liu Zheng nodded.

Afterward, Liu Zheng stood up and followed Liu Xueling out of the living room.

No sooner had Liu Zheng and Liu Xueling stepped outside the living room than they saw a woman dressed in an extravagant gown sitting on the sofa with her legs crossed and a haughty look on her face.

"Who do you think you are? What gives you the right to block my way? Get out of my face!" the woman yelled at them angrily.

"Miss, watch your words! I advise you to tone it down a bit," Liu Xueling said with a frown, speaking coldly.

The woman was wearing an opulent gown, with her bust prominently displayed, looking utterly beguiling.

However, Liu Xueling’s attitude wasn’t very kind.

"And who might you be? I don’t care what you are. Do you know who I am?" the woman snapped at Liu Xueling with a cold huff.

"I’m aware, aren’t you just a foster daughter of your father? So what, do you plan on bullying people with your status?" Liu Xueling responded indifferently.

"What did you say?" The woman’s face turned dark instantly as she spoke with a cold voice upon hearing Liu Xueling’s words.

"If you didn’t hear me clearly, never mind. After all, as a foster daughter, there aren’t many in this city who would take you seriously," Liu Xueling remarked with a dismissive curl of her lip.

"Shut up!" the woman shouted, enraged and looking as though she was about to lash out.

"Just try to lay a hand on me and see what happens," Liu Zheng said looking straight at her.

"You..." The woman pointed at Liu Zheng, roaring, "Who do you think you are?"

"Who am I? My name is Liu Zheng. Not long ago, it was I who sent you packing. Have you forgotten?" Liu Zheng said coolly.

"I..." Hearing Liu Zheng’s words, the woman was taken aback and then remembered the time Liu Zheng had defeated her father, and a trace of fear crept across her pretty face.

"Don’t be afraid, I won’t kill you. After all, I’m a friend of your old man, so I should give his face some consideration," Liu Zheng said with a faint smile.

Upon hearing Liu Zheng’s words, a glint of relief appeared on the woman’s face, "You really won’t kill me?"

"Of course!" Liu Zheng nodded and replied.

"Well then, my name is Liu Yulan; we’re going to be neighbors, so I hope we can get along well," Liu Yulan said, looking at Liu Zheng.

"Hello, neighbor, I’ll be counting on your support in the future!" Liu Zheng smiled slightly and nodded.

"So you’ll be living in this estate from now on, I’ll be on my way!" Liu Yulan glanced at the interior of the estate and then said to Liu Zheng.

"Wait a minute, let me see you out," Liu Zheng said hastily, stopping her.

"Um, thank you!" Liu Yulan was taken aback for a moment, then said with gratitude.

As the two approached the door, they saw Liu Xueling come out of the room, and they walked outside together.

Once outside, Liu Zheng said, "Let me take you home."

"No need, just wait here for your friend!" Liu Yulan quickly waved her hand and declined.

Liu Zheng nodded and watched as Liu Yulan left.

After Liu Yulan left the estate, she walked briskly for a while before stopping.

She looked up at the high-rise building above her head and a mocking curve outlined her lips as she muttered to herself, "Liu Zheng, I really want to see if there’s a man in this world who isn’t greedy for wealth and status. If I, Liu Yulan, don’t teach him a lesson, then I’m not living up to my reputation."

Afterward, she walked towards a nearby road, ready to hail a car to leave the place.

Soon, a black Audi car slowly approached. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Liu Yulan was slightly startled and then hurriedly went forward, rolled down the window, and called out, "Driver, stop for a moment!"

The Audi came to a halt about three meters from Liu Yulan, the car door opened, and a young man jumped out from the driver’s seat. The man had ordinary looks, but his eyes were extraordinarily bright, which gave an uncomfortable feeling to those who looked at him.

This person was none other than Liu Yulan’s bodyguard and driver, Wang Qiang!

"Miss Liu, what happened?" Wang Qiang asked urgently after seeing Liu Yulan.

"I want to ask you something," Liu Yulan said with a smile.

"Please go ahead, Miss Liu," Wang Qiang nodded and replied.

"What do you think about that guy, Liu Zheng?" Liu Yulan hesitated for a moment and then asked.

"Him? Although he’s a Divine Doctor with superb medical skills," Wang Qiang shook his head and continued, "he’s too arrogant, doesn’t know how to respect women, and lacks gentlemanly demeanor, so I think he’s not suitable for you."

"I wouldn’t say that. Liu Zheng is quite capable," Liu Yulan quickly explained.

"Then I think even less of him," Wang Qiang said with a slight smile. "Sure he’s a top-notch doctor and handsome, a favorite among many girls, but I think he still needs a woman who can match up to him to help him."

"How can you say that? You didn’t see just how impressive Liu Zheng was just now and that he even dared to oppose your father; he must be anything but simple!" Liu Yulan urged quickly.

"Hehe, Miss Liu, you don’t need to praise him anymore. If he were really that impressive, I would have sought him out for a challenge already, but I think he’s not up to par because he’s too weak," Wang Qiang said with a smirk. "Miss Liu, you’re a perfect example. If your father were a Martial Artist, I’d definitely seek him out for a spar."

"Wang Qiang, you..." Liu Yulan’s face turned red with anger, glaring at Wang Qiang, "Don’t forget you’re just a bodyguard. It’s not your place to criticize your employer. If you dare to gossip, I won’t let you off the hook!"

"Don’t worry," Wang Qiang said with a cold laugh, seeing Liu Yulan’s angry expression.

Then, Wang Qiang started the car and quickly left the estate.

"Bastard!" Liu Yulan watched the car disappear into the distance, cursing under her breath with clenched teeth.

Although Liu Zheng was very strong, even better than her, she was not afraid of him because her father had her back, so she wasn’t worried.

Her father was a major figure in the martial world, and she was confident that Liu Zheng wouldn’t dare to harm her recklessly.

But Liu Zheng’s behavior had thoroughly enraged her.

Even though Liu Zheng’s character was somewhat volatile, he was always refined and courteous, and he wasn’t the type to act rashly. However, today, he had struck her father in public, and she naturally wanted to seek justice and not let him off easily!

Afterward, Liu Yulan took out her phone and dialed a number...

Half an hour later, Liu Zheng came out of the house, holding a set of keys with a piece of paper attached; it had an address on it, the address of Liu Yulan’s home!
