Surrounded by endless white and gold.
Infinite light poured into every corner, illuminating this world devoid of any darkness or nightfall.
This was a world of light, a homeland of light.
As Violet regained her senses, she realized that she had appeared in such a world.
“What’s going on, have I traveled again?”
The girl lowered her head, and what met her eyes was the familiar attire, the white robe still immaculate. However, it didn’t bring her that subtle connection with the artifact, as if it was just an ordinary decoration representing her identity.
Representing her identity as a priest.
“No... not again.”
She hadn’t traveled again, and this wasn’t reality.
This was... a dream.
Not an illusion, but a real dream, Violet’s own dream.
A dream where she maintained clear consciousness, aware that she was dreaming, commonly referred to as a “lucid dream” on Earth.
What happened before?
Standing in the boundless light, Violet pondered for a moment, and memories gradually flooded her mind.
After coming out of the prison, they returned to the Lord’s Mansion and waited there for a while. Around noon, little Menna returned with her subordinates.
Although she couldn’t hide her fatigue, it was evident that she was in quite a good mood. It seemed that the reassurance and sending-off preparations had been mostly completed, only waiting for the negotiation results tomorrow.
Everyone had a meal together. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Violet formally introduced Theresa’s identity to Menna and Lan: a temporary resident of the Azure Sky Kingdom, the Goddess of Life, the Abyss Seal, the Divine Tree, and the plan to find a place near the Demon Suppression City to plant the Seed of Life.
After listening to the role and nature of the Seed of Life, as well as the various benefits it could bring, Menna naturally nodded in agreement, while Lan, although somewhat skeptical about things like gods and seals, and the idea that a single tree could accomplish so much, couldn’t really oppose it. So, the matter was considered settled.
However, regarding the specific location for planting the tree, because it would cause quite a stir and because there were more important matters to deal with in the Demon Suppression City at the moment, they decided to wait until after the negotiations were over and the issue of slaves from various races around the world had been completely resolved before considering it further.
Additionally, Menna also needed to inform Queen Lilya, the true ruler of the kingdom, about this matter, as it involved matters concerning deities, which were not trivial. After all, she was only a princess.
After that, Violet stayed at the Lord’s Mansion and discussed tomorrow’s arrangements in detail with Menna and the others, mainly focusing on some security concerns she was concerned about, before leaving with the idle dragon girl and Theresa.
Afterward, it seemed like there wasn’t much else.
After casually strolling through the market, when they returned to their residence, it was already night.
Although their wanted status had been lifted, allowing them to return to the inn, Lan had arranged for them to stay in a very nice place. Plus, Walter and the other demons were not suitable for showing up in the Demon Suppression City, so Violet simply decided to continue staying there.
After all, if the negotiations were completed successfully, she wouldn’t stay in the Demon Suppression City for long anyway.
Because there were many more mouths to feed now, the meals over the past few days had been prepared directly by Leila and Rene. Every mealtime made Violet feel like there was suddenly a bunch of kids to take care of. Fortunately, the demons weren’t picky eaters, and they got along well with Edwina and the others, although it was a bit troublesome... but she considered it an investment for the future.
When she returned to her bedroom, the understanding sisters Leila and Rene had already prepared hot water in the room. Violet sent the dragon girl back to the pet space to train her new pet, Snow Wing, then comfortably took a bath and read a book before going to bed early.
And then... it’s now.
Everything matches up, this is indeed a dream.
Come to think of it, it’s quite rare to dream on my own.
Since crossing into this world and becoming “Violet,” because this body possesses robust qualities, whenever she wants to sleep, she can quickly enter a deep sleep and wake up the next morning.
The last time she experienced a dream was probably back on Earth, but it’s been so long ago that the memory has become very vague.
However, unusual occurrences always have their reasons. This first dream in over a year is probably due to some external interference or influence, or perhaps her body has undergone some special changes. Either way, it’s a situation worth paying attention to and exploring.
Let’s take a walk and see.
The girl in the white robe strides in the boundless space. Although there is no solid ground beneath her feet, she feels as if she’s walking on hard marble, as if it were a level path.
Not only can she not sense the artifacts, but even the magic power in her body, or what could be called HP, MP, and the like, and even SP, are completely imperceptible. She can’t even open her backpack or access the system panel, as if she suddenly became an ordinary person.
Rather than feeling anxious, this situation fills Violet with a sense of wonder.
Dreams are like that, absurd and unbelievable. Logical thinking is meaningless. However, when normal people dream, their consciousness is usually in a hazy state, unable to maintain such calm thinking.
After walking for a while, Violet begins to feel impatient.
There is nothing here. Above is a mix of white and golden light, and the same under her feet. In every direction she looks, besides the light, there is nothing else visible.
What’s the point of such a dream?
It’s somewhat similar to her own divine realm called the Pet Space, but at least there she could chat with the cute Miss Giant Dragon and Little White Bird to pass the time. Here, it’s truly empty.
Clearly, Violet’s dream didn’t come to entertain anyone.
It seems there’s nothing worth paying attention to. After another turn, if nothing changes, she might as well leave.
This is her dream, Violet’s dream. No matter how absurd and bizarre, it won’t deviate from this concept.
Having realized this, as long as she wishes, she can immediately wake herself up and leave the dream. So even though she can’t exert any power, Violet can still maintain a calm and unhurried attitude, with room to spare.
But, as if echoing her mood, the scene in front of her suddenly clears like dispersing clouds, revealing another illusion.
The light forms into figures, countless blurry shapes abruptly appearing in this world of light, with only vague outlines discernible.
They come in various forms. Some are human-sized or even smaller, some towering into the sky with colossal bodies hundreds or thousands of meters high, like giants covering the sky. Some have beautiful wings, while others float in the air like spirits.
Countless, boundless, endless.
Through their outlines, Violet can roughly recognize the species to which some of these creatures belong, but many are things she has never heard of or seen.
These light-formed beings are scattered throughout the space, standing as if waiting.
Waiting for 【Her】 to descend.

They prayed in unison, offering blessings.
And 【She】 responded.
It was an idea that couldn’t be described simply with sound and waves. It originated out of thin air in every corner of the world, like the infinite light itself, and Violet experienced this firsthand.
Then, the endless lifeforms, in uniformity, fell to their knees in a resounding manner, prostrating themselves in utmost devout prayers and praises.
“Praise You!! Origin Light! The embodiment of all beauty, light, and hope in the world, the ruler of the primordial land, the great and sublime goddess!!!! Please bestow upon us the gospel!!!!”
Thus, 【She】 descended.
It was a golden throne, as if carved from the purest crystal in the world, the epitome of sanctity and splendor. It was engraved with exquisite patterns that could not be described by any words, like the embodiment of rules itself.
But even so, it was still far in comparison to its bearer’s magnificence.
Because that was an existence worthy of being called— 【God】.
