Chapter 835: Chapter 808: Reunion with Ryuzaki

"Revolver Leader!"

"Hello, Leader!"

"..."

Yugen, disguised, walked straight through the club, with Hanuo Knights greeting him as he passed.

He pushed open the door to a room where he found a large pile of documents stacked on a table. Despite the sounds of pages flipping and pens scratching, not a single person was in sight.

Not until Yugen moved behind the stack of documents did he discover that it was a cat sprawled on the desk.

Yes, even in the extraordinary world of Dark Duelists, this was a rather bizarre sight. A cat was lying in front of the office desk, diligently working amidst a sea of paperwork.

This cat was the "Pharaoh," known in Duel Academy as that lazy, gluttonous cat. Yet few knew that hidden within this cat was possibly the greatest alchemist of all time.

And this Alchemy Cat was currently working for Yugen...

"So inhumane, meow!"

Seeing Yugen enter, the ghostly apparition of Teacher Dade Temple quickly appeared behind the cat, accusing Yugen of exploiting the feline worker.

"Even as a cat, I still have to work overtime..." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

Yugen replied earnestly.

"Technically, Teacher Dade Temple, you’ve never really left the Seven-Star Organization. The Seven-Star has now been merged with the Hanuo Knights, so you’re considered a high-ranking officer among us."

"Can I apply to leave the organization now?"

Dade Temple complained as the cat’s paws continued frantically writing.

"Does the Seven-Star allow resignations?"

Dade Temple: "..."

Of course, he hadn’t possessed the Pharaoh; he had simply employed a small alchemical trick to temporarily use the cat’s body. Ordinarily, the Pharaoh was still the Pharaoh, and Dade Temple just used its body as a place of residence.

"Speaking of which, the organization under Yugen’s command is much larger than the Seven-Star ever was. You could say he even commands an army now, couldn’t you?"

Teacher Dade Temple clicked his tongue.

"Quite frightening."

"What are you saying, Yugen is a good model student of Duel Academy," Yugen insisted, "What does the Revolver organization have to do with the Duel King?"

Dade Temple’s ghost rolled his eyes.

"You’re the boss now, whatever you say goes."

He paused, then suddenly said.

"By the way, someone reported earlier that it seems Tongshiyi has detected some unusual dark power fluctuations. It doesn’t seem like the power systems we’re familiar with, but rather, some kind of unfamiliar and dangerous wave."

"Outlanders?" Yugen asked, "I thought dark duelists from outside were not daring to wander into our turf so readily anymore."

"Indeed, it’s rare. I’m planning to send someone to check it out, to see if it’s someone looking for trouble or someone who could pose a threat to us."

Dade Temple glanced at Yugen again.

"After all, someone here is quite adept at making enemies, right?"

"I’ll take that as a compliment."

Yugen chuckled.

"No need to send anyone. I was just about to head to the Kaiba Group to discuss a research collaboration. Since I’m already out, I’ll just go take a look myself."

"That works too."

Dade Temple said as he pushed a stack of documents to the edge of the desk with a cat paw.

"Remember, this month’s workload has increased, so give me a raise!"

"No problem, Teacher."

Yugen headed towards the door, waving as he left.

"I’ll have someone prepare a few more pounds of cat food."

Dade Temple: "You little brat..."

"..."

...

...

A white glider sliced through the night sky like a giant flying bird. The silver wings circled in the moonlight, spewing two long trails of flame, streaking across the city sky.

"How’s the new glider testing?"

Dade Temple’s lazy voice came through Yugen’s earpiece.

"The speed is great."

Yugen said while flying.

"But the balance still needs adjustment, I feel it’s not very coordinated... But I’m almost there, let’s discuss later."

He dove down, decelerating, finally discarding the glider and landing atop a building, peering downward.

He quickly spotted the unexpected guest he was seeking.

"Hmm?"

Yugen raised an eyebrow, surprised.

It turned out to be an old acquaintance?

...

...

Meanwhile, in a dilapidated building.

A small red light silently drifted in the dark, pausing briefly at a shadow. Then, as if an eye opened on the light, it cautiously glanced around, seemingly confirming nobody was nearby before proceeding onward.

But moments after advancing, a sudden roar erupted from the darkness nearby. The large eye bulged out like in anime, jumped back up, and then quickly retracted.

From the darkness, a red dinosaur emerged, complete with jagged bone spurs on its back. It opened its massive maw, letting out an intimidating roar at the floating large eye.

The large eye quickly retreated, staring menacingly at the dinosaur, "Pssh~ It’s just a staring contest, who’s scared of who?"

A laugh came from behind the dinosaur, "Ha, pretty well hidden, but I finally got you."

The large eye squinted, mumbling, "I’d rather say you’re too persistent, chasing me all the way here, it’s incredible determination..."

Ryuzaki Kyoryu stepped out from the darkness, standing beside the dinosaur. His Duel Disc activated, with a card placed in the Monster Zone, clearly indicating this dinosaur was his summoned monster.

"This is my first major mission assigned by the Descent Sect, to bring you back in one piece, I don’t want to mess it up."

Ryuzaki shrugged.

"You’ve got nowhere to run. Be wise and come with me quietly."

"Damn it, if I wasn’t in such poor condition, how could I be caught by a duelist like you..."

But no matter how menacing the large eye tried to appear, with just one eye it had the unfortunate look of being oddly adorable.

"Even if you capture my person, you’ll never get my heart... I mean, my card!"

"What? You think you can duel?" Ryuzaki sneered, "With just that one eye?"

Just then, a sudden explosion echoed overhead, and the ceiling collapsed with a crash. Both parties stepped back in surprise as debris fell to the ground. A white-clad figure descended from the collapsing roof, landing in a crouch between them.

"You all seem to be having a pleasant conversation."

Yugen stood up slowly, the white hems of his clothes settling in the swirling dust. He glanced behind him at the large eye floating above the red light, then at the assertive Ryuzaki in front of him.

"Mind if I join in?"

Ryuzaki Kyoryu’s expression shifted slightly.

"Revolver?"
