Chapter 157: Chapter 156 : Trapped in the booth
The figure approached the phone booth with slow, unsteady steps. The rain was so heavy that even the woman carrying the umbrella but still soaked. Her clothes clung to her body like wet paper. The umbrella was tilted at a strange angle, as if she had lost control of it. In her other hand, she held a large plastic bag of groceries — some vegetables, eggs, and what looked like rice. She moved like someone who was very drunk, swaying slightly, her steps hesitant and wobbly.
Haruto watched from inside the booth, his heart pounding with a strange mixture of fear and helplessness. The lightning cracked again, lighting up the dark road for a split second. He could see her clearly now — an older woman, around forty-something age, her face red and flushed as if she had been drunk. Her hair was plastered to her head, water running down her cheeks and neck. Her clothes were completely soaked, the fabric heavy and clinging to her body. The white top she wore was so wet that the outline of her bra was clearly visible beneath it — the shape of her breasts and the delicate lace of the bra peeking through the soaked material.
She stopped right in front of the booth.
Her legs suddenly gave out.
She fell to her knees on the muddy road, the plastic bag of groceries dropping beside her with a soft thud. The umbrella fell over, its tip buried in the mud. She stayed on her knees for a moment, breathing heavily, her red face looking up toward the booth as if she didn’t know what to do next.
Haruto’s instincts kicked in. He stepped out of the phone booth without thinking. The rain poured down on him, soaking his clothes instantly, but he didn’t care. He walked straight to her, his heart racing with worry.
She looked up at him with bloodshot eyes, her voice slurred but trying to speak.
"I... I’m fine... don’t worry..."
Haruto didn’t listen. He knelt down in front of her, took one of her arms, and gently lifted her weight. Her body was heavy and wet, the soaked fabric clinging to her skin. He put her arm around his neck and helped her stand. Her legs were weak, and she leaned heavily against him, her wet clothes dripping water all over his body.
As they moved together toward the booth, Haruto noticed something he couldn’t ignore.
Her white top was completely soaked. The fabric was so wet that the delicate white bra underneath was clearly visible — the soft curves of her breasts and the lace edge of the bra pressing against the material. Every step made her body sway, and water kept pouring off her.
He carefully guided her inside the phone booth. The small space was cramped, but it was the only shelter available. He helped her sit down on the wooden bench, then sat beside her, keeping his arm around her shoulders to support her weight. The rain continued to hammer down on the roof of the booth, the sound like thousands of small explosions.

Haruto looked at her face — red, flushed, drunk, but still beautiful in her own way. Her soaked clothes made everything even more intimate. The white bra was right there, the outline of her breasts and the curve of her waist clearly visible in the dim, flickering light of the phone booth.
He felt a strange mix of worry and embarrassment. She was an older woman, clearly drunk, and now she was sitting this close to him, soaked and helpless.
The storm raged outside, lightning cracking the sky again and again, illuminating the empty road and the dark fields. The rain poured down relentlessly, but inside the booth, the two of them were trapped together — soaked, alone, and in the late night.
Haruto stayed beside her, his arm still around her shoulders, keeping her steady as the storm continued its violent assault outside.
The phone booth was completely soaked. Water poured down the cracked glass panels, forming small rivers that ran down the wooden bench where they sat. The rain hammered the roof like a thousand angry fists, the thunder rolling so close that the walls seemed to shake. Lightning cracked again and again, flashing white light through the broken windows, illuminating the empty road and the dark fields outside in harsh, blinding flashes.
Haruto sat beside the old woman, his arm still wrapped around her shoulders to keep her steady. She was heavy, wet, and trembling. Her body leaned heavily against him, her soft, heavy breasts pressed directly against his chest through the soaked fabric of her clothes. The white top clung to her like a second skin, making every curve and the delicate outline of her bra painfully clear. Her nipples were stiff and visible through the wet material, brushing against Haruto’s shirt with every small movement.
The woman’s face was feverishly red — flushed, flushed, and flushed with alcohol. Her eyes were half-lidded, bloodshot, and glassy. Her breath smelled of strong sake, hot and sour. Water streamed down her face, running into her mouth, making her look even more drunk and helpless.
She suddenly lifted her head, her red face inches from his.
"What’s your name?" she slurred, her voice thick and weak. "Do you have sake? I want sake..."
Haruto’s heart hammered against his ribs. The woman’s breasts were so close he could feel their warmth through the wet fabric. Her nipples dragged lightly against his chest with every breath. The soaked top clung to her body, outlining her full, soft curves in a way that made the situation feel both intimate and deeply wrong.
"I... I’m Haruto," he replied softly, his voice calm but trembling slightly. "I don’t drink. I don’t have any alcohol. I’m sorry."

"Neee... neee... I want sake..." she whined, her voice getting closer. She leaned in even more, her heavy breasts pressing harder against his chest, her face almost touching his. Her breath was hot and alcoholic, her red cheeks flushed, her wet clothes making her look almost naked.
The storm raged outside. Lightning cracked directly overhead, blinding white light filling the booth for a split second and showing the woman’s drunken, flushed face inches from his. Thunder shook the booth violently. The rain poured down so hard the glass panels were starting to fog.
Haruto sat frozen, trapped.
The old woman was drunk, soaked, and pressed against him, her soft breasts squishing against his chest, her hot breath on his face, her body trembling with the cold and the alcohol.
He couldn’t move. He couldn’t leave. He was completely trapped.
And the storm outside felt like it was getting worse with every passing second.
The phone booth felt smaller than ever. The rain hammered the roof like a thousand small explosions, turning the space into a wet, noisy box. Lightning flashed through the broken windows, blinding white light illuminating the two of them for a split second before vanishing into darkness.
The old woman’s face was only inches from Haruto’s. She was leaning forward, her drunk, flushed cheeks so close he could smell the strong, sour scent of her sake. Her hot, alcohol-heavy breath brushed against his lips. Her soaked white top clung to her body like a second skin, the wet fabric outlining her heavy breasts and the delicate white lace of her bra.
"A good smell coming out from your body," she said with a strange smile. Her voice was thick and slurred, but the smile didn’t look normal. It was crooked, hungry, and strangely intense. "Addicting... like sake..."
Haruto’s heart stopped.
He felt the heat of her body, the wet fabric of her clothes pressing against his chest, her nipples dragging lightly over his shirt with every shallow breath. Her face was feverishly red, eyes half-lidded, and that smile — that strange, almost terrifying smile — made the hair on the back of his neck stand up.

She started to lean forward even more.
Haruto’s back hit the hard bench. His head hit the metal frame behind him.
The next moment, they fell.
It happened so suddenly. One second she was leaning in, the next she was falling forward, her body collapsing on top of him. Haruto had no time to react. His arms and legs were still weak from the storm, and his body was soaked and heavy.
They both crashed to the dirty floor of the phone booth.
The old woman landed directly on top of him. Her reddish hair fell into his face like a wet curtain, strands of it sticking to his lips and cheeks. Water poured down from her hair, running into his eyes, his mouth, his nose. A few drops even landed directly on his face, cold and shocking.
The booth was suddenly filled with the heavy weight of her body. Her heavy breasts pressed hard against his chest, her soft, soaked clothes squishing between them. Her hips settled on his thighs, her legs trapping one of his legs beneath hers. The plastic bag of groceries dropped beside them, water spilling out of it and mixing with the puddles on the floor.
The storm raged outside. Lightning cracked again, lighting up the booth for a blinding second. In that flash of light, Haruto saw her clearly — her red, drunken face inches from his, wet hair falling into his face, her body completely on top of him, her breasts squishing against his chest, her soaked clothes clinging to every curve.
The time felt paused.
Haruto couldn’t move. His body was pinned beneath her heavy weight.
The storm howled louder. The rain poured down even harder. The booth shook violently.
And for one terrible second, everything felt like time had stopped.
