Chapter 1322: Chapter 1321: Turn Off the Cameras and Lights—It’s Easier to Get Things Done in the Dark!
He’s drunk, so he just keeps repeating that same line?!
"Eva Nightingale, do you still remember me?"
There seemed to be some vague, indescribable emotion mixed into his voice.
"I don’t." She shook her head. What she could be sure of was that he seemed convinced she was Lili and Ivy’s mommy? Eva Nightingale didn’t believe it, and she didn’t want to accept it either.
"Crown Prince, you... knew me before?"
Her words made him freeze for a second, then his lips hooked into a wicked smile. "Baby."
He really had too much to drink, holding her in his arms, talking like he was spouting drunken nonsense.
Eva Nightingale was sure now too—his answers were all over the place. He had to be wasted!
She turned her head and saw two bottles of ’82 Lafite on the table, both emptied by him. Even if you can really hold your liquor, there’s no way you’re not drunk after that!
"Let’s go home, Lucas Knight." She shifted and sat up out of his arms. "You’ve been holding me all night, you must be tired." He really had worked hard!
"Holding you, how could I be tired?" He domineeringly circled an arm around her slim waist, pulling the woman back into his embrace. Her face bumped right into his strong, solid chest, rubbing against it until her pretty little face flushed red.
Ugh, this bad man.
"Lucas Knight, I want to go back to sleep!" She knew he’d had too much, so that must be why he hadn’t gone back all night, right? Him being this clingy now—could it be his little post-drinking mood swing? So cute!
Yeah, she couldn’t deny that when he was drunk, he seemed a lot more easygoing. Looking at him up close like this, he was really handsome.
"Hubby, I want to go home and sleep!"
She wasn’t throwing a tantrum. Seeing him half-drunk like this, she was worried he might have just finished teaching someone a lesson in the bar again. She was afraid he’d get hurt, so better to head home early.
Sure enough, the man agreed to her request. "Mm... I’ll take you back now."
He wrapped his arms around her and stood up. "Kiss."
Her hands hooked around him as she looked into his deep eyes. For some reason, she suddenly felt his direct gaze was so scorching that her face heated up under it.
The AC was clearly on in the VIP room, so why did she feel so hot!
"Kiss me." His voice was even colder this time than before, but his eyes were already filled with blazing, scalding flames, like he wanted to use a kiss to put them out.
That direct gaze made Eva Nightingale subconsciously dodge, retreating a bit. Who knew his large hand would clamp right down on the back of her head, and like a drunk man throwing a little tantrum, he ordered, "I told you to kiss me. You don’t want to? Then I’ll kiss you, hmm?"
He just wasn’t sure—if he was the one to start, he might not be able to hit the brakes!!
He was giving her the chance to choose. If she took the initiative, he could still advance or retreat. But if he was the one to take the initiative, then tonight... she could forget about leaving this VIP room!
He chuckled, lips curling, freed one hand to grab the phone on the table, and dialed out. "Harry North, have them turn off the cameras in the VIP room!!"
Harry North: "Turn off the cameras?"
"Mm."
Harry North: "!!!"
This bar was huge, and the VIP rooms were lavishly decorated, glittering everywhere. Normally they all had surveillance cameras installed. And now... turning off the cameras—what exactly were the Crown Prince and the Young Madam planning to do in the VIP room?
After hesitating in a daze for two seconds, Harry North gripped the phone. "Yes, sir. I’ll get the cameras shut down right away."
Very soon.
In the VIP room, the red light on the cameras went dark, and an intangible aura of ambiguity slowly filled the space.
"Lucas Knight, don’t you dare..."
