Chapter 1119: Chapter 1119: Splashing Water

Xi Siyan spent the whole noon working on competition problems. It was only when the lunch break was about to end that he stopped writing, stretched his sore neck, and his gaze landed on Zhou Chengchen’s clothes.

Xi Siyan frowned slightly, "Your... clothes?"

Zhou Chengchen chuckled, having already thought of an excuse. Her eyebrows raised as she smiled brightly, "This is called wearing a coat backward, it’s trendy."

Xi Siyan twitched his mouth without saying more, took his cup, and went out to get water. Zhou Chengchen shamelessly licked her face, "Xi, could you do me a favor?"

Xi Siyan took the cup she handed over, calmly stood up, and walked out.

Zhou Chengchen watched him walk away and immediately pulled Xiao Rou’s clothes in front, lowered her voice, "Little Rou’er, did you bring that?"

"Hmm? What?"

"You know, that big bread."

Xiao Rou blinked in puzzlement for two seconds then quickly pulled one out of her backpack to give to Zhou Chengchen.

"Thanks."

Zhou Chengchen briskly walked to the restroom. She had felt something was off earlier but was afraid of embarrassing herself in front of Xi Siyan so she stayed put. Now that he had finally left, she quickly headed to the restroom.

Indeed, her visitor had inconveniently arrived. Seeing a bright red stain on her underwear, Zhou Chengchen pressed her lips and stuck the big bread on, carefully inspecting herself.

Fortunately, the school pants were black, so even if stained it wouldn’t be visible, but the bottom of her school uniform had some blood marks. As long as she didn’t take off her coat, it wouldn’t be seen.

After tidying up, Zhou Chengchen was about to leave when suddenly a basin of cold water fell from above, soaking her entire body with a "splash".

Winter water was piercingly cold. Zhou Chengchen froze for a moment, then immediately attempted to open the door, but the stall door wouldn’t budge.

Ignoring her dishevelled state, with eyes blazing, Zhou Chengchen charged back into the classroom, marching straight up to Chen Youran, slamming the desk with a resounding "slap," "Chen, what the heck are you up to?"

Chen Youran’s eyes were still reddened, trembling lips as Zhou Chengchen confronted her, "What... what do you want?"

"That’s a question for you. Chen Youran, did you forget what I said at noon already? Pouring water in the bathroom, can you come up with something new? If you have the guts, face me openly instead of sneaking around with dirty tricks."

Zhou Chengchen’s voice was loud, drawing the attention of everyone who was napping in the classroom.

All eyes were on Zhou Chengchen and Chen Youran.

Zhou Chengchen was a mess but her presence was striking; in contrast, Chen Youran appeared tender and pitiful.

"Zhou Chengchen, what are you saying? I don’t understand. I’ve been in the classroom the whole time; who splashed water on you?"

As Chen Youran spoke, tears were about to fall, "I admit spilling some milk tea on you at noon was my fault, but didn’t you retaliate? I’ve already apologized to you, what else do you want? And now you’re accusing me again. Zhou Chengchen, what did I do to offend you?"

Chen Youran spoke tearfully, prompting quite a few whispers among the classmates. Though they were mostly afraid of provoking Zhou Chengchen, some boys couldn’t stand it, "Zhou Chengchen, the class president stayed in the classroom and didn’t go out. You’re being unreasonable."
