On seeing the three gods bow respectfully, Little White was quite pleased and raised an eyebrow at Ye Yu. Big brother, I’ve got this covered, right?
Sometimes a fearsome reputation is the greatest deterrent. Ye Yu understood this well, so he said nothing and simply watched Little White play the innocent. Family, who would have thought that the fusion monstrosity he created would be enough to intimidate the gods? What in this world is truly impossible?
Before Little White could speak, Han Gu suddenly snapped, “Little White, I’ll stew your two eggs!”
In an instant, all of Equilibrium City fell silent. No one expected this strange outsider deity to insult White God—let alone with such an obscure greeting as “stew your ⊛ Nоvеlιght ⊛ (Read the full story) two eggs.” Was there some hidden meaning? Every god present wore a puzzled expression. Only Little White and Ye Yu’s eyes lit up in shock and recognition—their thousand searches had at last led them back to him, just when they least expected it.
They had never imagined that the true owner of the Communication Stone, Kanyue Xi’s father Han Gu, would be here. What they didn’t know was that Han Gu’s insult was merely a test—to see if the White God before him was indeed the same Little White he’d spoken to over the stone. The test worked: their mutual gaze said it all. Although they wondered when Equilibrium City had gotten its own White God, in Han Gu’s eyes Ye Yu was nothing more than a late New God Realm cultivator he could handle at will. Having no time for subtlety, he summoned his Bone-Piercing Divine Sword—Piercing Bone!
Instantly, illusionary snowflakes drifted down and the air grew frigid. Little White instinctively looked skyward—and in that moment, Han Gu swept his sleeve and vanished with Ye Yu! Their speed was so great that no one could react; the crowd was left completely bewildered. When Little White finally turned back, it was too late. Only then did he realize that the falling snow had been a mere illusion—the real goal was to abduct his big brother.
Damn it! That old bastard not only curses crudely but is dirty-minded, too—daring to snatch my big brother right in front of me! Even if he’s my new sister-in-law’s father, he’s going to get beaten today. Mark my words, not even a God Sovereign could stop me!
With a roar, Little White revealed his true form. A terrifying divine pressure swept across the scene, sending the surrounding gods stumbling backward in fear. The three vendor deities who had quarreled with Han Gu turned pale—resident stall gods in Equilibrium City knew that when White God revealed his true form, it meant he intended to devour someone. Who wouldn’t be terrified?
But their terror only deepened when Little White pointed at them and commanded the temple guardians, “Seize these three. I suspect they colluded with that old bastard to lure us here and abduct my big brother!”
At once, five guardians sprang forward and bound the three gods, whose faces drenched in cold sweat.
“White God, we didn’t—we swear we didn’t conspire!”
“Yes! We’re innocent! Please, White God, see the truth!”
Little White ignored their pleas. After sniffing disdainfully, he turned on his heel and dashed off toward the southwest at top speed.
Han Gu had spirited Ye Yu away to a distant mountain range and laid down several array barriers around him. Equilibrium God Yu Bu Xia was a troublesome figure, so Han Gu intended to subject Ye Yu to ruthless interrogation to learn the full truth.
“Little White, will you talk or not?”
The Bone-Piercing Divine Sword was suddenly pressed to Ye Yu’s throat. Its icy aura froze the folds of his robe with frost. Ye Yu remained silent—not because he wouldn’t speak, but because Han Gu, during the abduction, had sealed both his divine power and his mouth. Big brother, if you want me to talk, undo this mouth seal first! And more importantly, ask me something before demanding an answer—how can I respond to nothing? Also, I’m really not Little White; you’ve got the wrong person!
Seeing Ye Yu stubbornly mute, Han Gu sneered, “So you’re Little White, are you? You’ve got nerve. It seems you intend to hold your tongue unless I give you a lesson in power.” He raised the sword to carve into Ye Yu—when suddenly, the barrier outside shattered and Little White burst in.
“You old bastard, let my big brother go!”
Han Gu frowned. That voice sounded so familiar—like the Little White he’d argued with over the Communication Stone. Curiosity flickered in his eyes as he asked coldly, “Who are you?”
“Damn it! I’m Little White—the one who stews your egg—White God!”
Little White spat curses frame by frame. Losing a war of words over the stone, he wasn’t about to lose in person. Han Gu paused, then pointed at Ye Yu. “So you’re Little White? And who is he?”
“He’s my big brother—and your son-in-law! Honestly, if not for that, you’d already be in my stomach. But even so, you’re about to get beaten. Stand still and I promise I won’t cripple you!”
Little White’s ferocity dyed the air with bloodlust.
“Eh? Eh?” Han Gu spun to Ye Yu. “He’s my son-in-law?”
Ye Yu shook his head vigorously, trying to protest—but Han Gu paid no heed, focusing on Little White.
“Don’t be ridiculous—your daughter Kanyue Xi is my new sister-in-law, ranked... third!”
Little White counted on his hooves. “Ying Huo first, Yu Bu Xia second, Kanyue Xi third—that’s right! I’m great at math!”
Han Gu’s face darkened to green. His daughter choosing a dao partner was one thing; though this son-in-law was low in cultivation, love could transcend that. But low cultivation and fickle loyalty—placing his own daughter third—was unforgivable! He gripped the Bone-Piercing Divine Sword with grim intent and glared at Ye Yu.
Ye Yu shook his head three times more—only chilling Han Gu’s gaze further. Damn, he’s mute! Daughter, how could you give up on yourself so completely without your father around? Han Gu thought with a pang of regret—and in that moment of distraction, Little White struck.
“Old scoundrel, eat my kick!”
With a winding spin, Little White delivered a powerful turning kick that sent Han Gu flying across the clearing!
