Chapter 301: Cleaning off the Remaining Monsters

Beta stood at the edge of the deep crater she’d just punched into the beach, sand still sliding down the walls like slow waterfalls. Her fists were covered in green blood and dust, but she looked completely fine—happy, even. She took a big breath, puffed out her chest, and screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Next!"

Her voice echoed across the whole beach. Every monster still left standing turned to look at her. The ones closest to the crater took one look at the flattened mess that used to be the serpent, then at Beta’s huge grin, and their legs started shaking.

"What kind of monster is that?" one goblin squeaked, voice cracking. He took a quick step back, then another. His club slipped from his fingers and hit the sand with a soft thud.

That was all it took.

Panic spread like fire through dry grass. Goblins dropped their weapons. Small aliens hissed and scrambled backward. Bigger beasts turned and ran toward the black tear in the sky, wings flapping, tails dragging, feet kicking up sand in every direction.

"They’re running!" someone in the crowd yelled.

"Get them!" another person cheered.

But the shadow mystics weren’t about to let them escape that easy.

"Nuclear Ray!" Eta shouted.

She swung her twin short bows in a wide circle. Bright green energy gathered at the tips, then shot out in a wide beam that swept across a whole group of fleeing goblins and aliens. The ray hit like a laser—bodies exploded into ash and smoke before they could even scream. The smell of burnt monsters filled the air.

The other girls jumped right back into the fight.

Gamma cracked her knuckles and charged straight into a pack of shadow creatures, fists flying like pistons.

Delta spun her twin daggers so fast they looked like silver circles, cutting through anything that got close.

Epsilon leaped high, purple flames roaring around her, and came down with both hands slamming into the sand—sending a wave of fire that roasted a line of monsters.

Zeta pounced like a real cat, sword flashing, taking heads with every jump.

Eta drew her bow back and let arrows fly—each one glowing blue, piercing multiple enemies in a straight line before exploding.

Alpha moved like she owned the battlefield. She jumped forward with one powerful leap, sword already swinging in a perfect arc. *SLASH!* A dozen monsters fell in pieces before they even knew what hit them. She landed lightly, pink hair settling around her shoulders, and kept moving—calm, precise, deadly.

From the crowd, people couldn’t stop staring.

"Hey, look at those girls," one man said, eyes wide. "They are so absolutely strong."

His buddy nodded fast. "Damn, they’re beautiful and hot as well."

Another guy a little farther back leaned forward, practically drooling. "Yeah, look at those bouncing curves on her chest as she fights..."

He was staring right at Alpha, who was mid-swing, her boobs moving with every powerful motion.

*Tap!*

A sharp slap landed on the back of his head.

"Where are you looking at, fucker!" his girlfriend snapped, arms crossed tight, face red with anger.

The guy rubbed his head, wincing. "Sorry, sorry, baby!"

He leaned over quick and tried to kiss her cheek.

She turned her face away. "Now you see what I will do. I will continue sleeping with Harry again."

His eyes went wide. His mouth dropped open. "What the fuck? You openly talking about cheating on me?"

"Yeah," she said, turning her head even more to the side, arms still folded. "Because you deserve it."

He looked like he was about to cry. "Baby, come on... I said sorry..."

She didn’t even glance at him. "Too late."

The guy slumped, shoulders dropping. "This is the worst day ever..."

In the middle of the crowd, a girl with short brown hair grabbed her two friends by the arms and yanked them apart.

"Oye, you two stop fighting," she said, rolling her eyes. "Look at them. It’s almost over now."

The arguing couple—the guy who’d been staring at Alpha and his angry girlfriend—finally looked up. The girlfriend still had her arms crossed tight, but even she stopped glaring long enough to watch.

Out on the water’s edge, the remaining monsters were panicking hard.

"Oyee, run away!" a goblin screamed, voice high and cracking. He tripped over his own feet trying to sprint toward the waves.

"These girls are crazy in their head!" another one yelled, splashing into the shallow water. "We’re done! Retreat!"

Bodies floated in the surf—goblins, aliens, shadow beasts—all cut down or burned or smashed. The survivors didn’t even look back. They just dove into the ocean, swimming or crawling or flapping away as fast as they could.

Alpha landed lightly on the back of a fleeing monster that tried to dive under the waves. She smirked down at it. "What happened? Weren’t you gonna kill us?"

Before it could answer, she swung her sword in a clean arc.

*SLASH.*

The monster split in half. Its body hit the water with a wet smack.

*Splash! Splash!*

Water flew up in white sprays as more monsters tried to escape. They slipped and fell, splashing wildly, screaming in panic.

"Run, guys! Run!"

Beta was having the time of her life. She laughed out loud—"Hahahaha! It’s so fun!"—and dashed across the surface of the water like it was solid ground. Her claws glowed as she swiped at anything that moved too slow. Monsters yelped and dove deeper, but she just kept going, tail swishing happily.

"Beta!" Alpha called out, voice sharp but calm. She jumped back to the beach in one smooth leap. "It’s okay. Don’t go too far. Staying by the side of Master is more important."

"Hmm? Okay!" Beta skidded to a stop mid-water, ears perking up. She blinked once, then grinned big.

She turned around instantly and zipped back to the beach in a blur, landing right next to Alpha with a soft thud of sand. She bounced once on her toes, tail flicking.

"Staying by Master is more important," she repeated in a sing-song voice, like a little kid who just learned a new rule. Even though she was tall, curvy, and built like a grown woman who could bench-press a car, the way she said it made her sound super innocent.

They all stood together at the edge of the water, breathing steady, weapons still in hand but relaxed now. The beach went quiet. No more screams. No more explosions. Just the soft roll of waves and the distant cheers starting up again from the crowd.

Farther back, I sat on a big flat rock, knees pulled up, arms resting on them. I let out a long, slow sigh—half tired, half proud.

My girls. I looked at them one by one.
