Chapter 609: Chapter 608: Reunion (Part 4)
Ethan couldn’t resist Talia’s expression and immediately said, "Sis, it’s no problem if Talia stays with me. She’s very well-behaved and won’t disturb me."
"Yeah, Talia is the best, she wouldn’t disturb Uncle’s studies." The little girl nodded quickly.
Bella gave Ethan a glance and sighed, "Just spoil her then."
Ethan’s cool little face finally showed a slight smile, "Who else can I spoil if not Talia?"
"Do whatever you like, but if your studies suffer, I’ll have Talia sleep in her own room," Bella said, "Talia, did you hear that?"
"Heard you." The little girl sighed, "Oh, Mommy, you’re worrying for nothing. Uncle is really smart, and Talia is really good, this situation won’t happen."
Being looked down upon by her daughter, and the fact that this daughter is only four, made Bella feel a bit helpless.
Ethan pinched the little hand that reached over and said, "Talia, it’s not right to talk to your sister like that, okay?"
"Okay." Talia pouted and responded, then lifted her cute little face and gave Bella a sweet smile, "Mommy, don’t be sad, Talia loves you the most."
Bella sighed, "If that made me sad, I’d have been dead from being frustrated by you long ago."
Judy Zimmerman put the luggage away and got into the passenger seat, and finally, the car started to slowly pull away.
Talia giggled and played for a while before she got tired, and eventually climbed into Ethan’s arms, holding his arm and obediently falling asleep.
The long flight was indeed tiring; the car hadn’t gone far before Ethan, holding Talia, also fell asleep.
Looking at the two kids’ little heads leaning together, Bella softly said with a smile, "Ever since she opened her eyes, Talia especially loves to stick to Ethan. The first time she learned to call someone in Chinese, it was to call Uncle."
"It’s good this way; the two kids have a companion," Sharon Cheney patted Bella’s hand and said, "And what about you? How have you been living abroad these years? You graduated, right?"
"Yes, I just graduated in June." Bella nodded, "Ms. Young and Ms. Flynn arranged everything; with Piggy and Ethan taking care of Talia, aside from studying and learning acting, I didn’t have anything else to worry about. Godmother, I haven’t congratulated you yet on winning Best Actress."
Two years ago, Sharon Cheney won the Best Actress awards at both The Milleflora Rite and Silver Chicken Festival for her leading role in the film "I’m Just a Mother," a tremendous achievement and honor, and the greatest affirmation of her acting skills.
Sharon smiled faintly, "The older I get, the less interested I am in these things. Now I just pick scripts and roles I like, and don’t pursue anything else."
"Yes, what you like is the most important," Bella smiled slightly, "And what about Director Ford? I heard from Ms. Flynn he’s been waiting for you."
Sharon turned to look at her and sighed, "I don’t know what to do. He even asked me to go out with him around Creston tomorrow. I haven’t figured out how to reply yet."
"You should go," Bella said, "It’s not far; you can treat it as a little vacation to relax, and you’ll be back the same day, not interfering with work."
"Bella, you should have a couple days to rest since you just got back, right?" Sharon suddenly asked.
Bella nodded, "I have a meeting with the director about the script the day after tomorrow, but nothing much tomorrow."
"Then come with me," Sharon said, "I really don’t know how to deal with Old Ford on my own."
