Chapter 596: Chapter 595: The Final Decision (8)
Bea scoffed, "If you were straightforward like this earlier, there wouldn’t need to be a fuss. I don’t need your assistant to take me, Bella can just take me there."
After speaking, she didn’t wait for Archer Quinn to respond and turned around to walk back to Bella’s side.
Their conversation earlier was not loud, so Bella didn’t catch what they were saying. She just saw both of them going back and forth, their expressions didn’t look good, like they were arguing.
"Bella, take me to Archer Quinn’s resting room," Bea said as she walked back.
Bella glanced at Archer Quinn’s expression and quietly asked, "Bea, did you... have a fight with Senior Quinn?"
Bea looked confused, "Why would I fight with him?"
Not seeing her lying, Bella became even more puzzled, "Don’t you know the expressions you two had while talking? It seemed like you were about to pounce on each other the next second. I was even wondering who I should help if you two really started fighting."
Bea was speechless, "What on earth are you thinking about every day? Just take me to Archer Quinn’s resting room; I didn’t sleep well last night, and now I’ve got a killer headache."
Bella glanced at Archer Quinn again and said, "Senior Quinn, Bea has a bit of a headache, can I take her to your resting room to rest for a while?"
"Sure." Archer Quinn nodded.
Bea said, "It’s just for a nap in his resting room. Why even ask his permission?"
"That’s Senior Quinn’s private space. You should mention it before you go sleep there." Bella shot her a look and said, "Senior Quinn is really kind, don’t be so harsh on him."
"Bella, he’s your friend, and I’m your friend too. Don’t be so biased." Bea wrapped an arm around Bella’s shoulders, pulling her closer, "Anyway, I actually quite like him now. Don’t worry, I’ll go easy on him and won’t bully him too much."
Bella was taken aback and while being led forward by Bea, she asked in a low voice, "Bea, are you serious, or just joking?"
"Do I look like I’m joking?" Bea gave her a sideways glance, while also pinching her cheek.
"You look very much like it," Bella nodded.
Bea sighed, "Okay, not joking. I really do like his face and body. If he’s willing to be my nude model, I’ll definitely paint him extremely perfectly."
"Wh-what kind of model?" Bella stammered in shock, her face turning slightly red, "Bea, is that what you normally draw?"
"Nah." Bea shrugged, "I have very picky tastes, you know. Not just anyone can catch my eye. Where’s the resting room?"
"Over there." Bella pointed, lowering her voice a bit, "But it’s the first time I’ve seen Senior Quinn so helpless when dealing with someone. You’re really something."
Archer Quinn is the kind of person who is adept at socializing, able to warmly chat with anyone he meets. It’s rare to see him at a loss like he was just now.
Bea raised an eyebrow with some pride, "Just look at who you’re talking to! By the way, how are things with your brother? He hasn’t been home these past few days and my mom acts like the sky is falling, crying to my dad all the time. It’s making me not want to go home."
At the mention of Damian, Bella’s heart trembled slightly.
She was silent for a moment before saying, "There will be a result soon."
"What result?" Bea asked confusedly, "What did you two discuss?"
