Chapter 403: Chapter 402: Embarrassing
"You can talk about it if you can get out of bed tomorrow morning." Damian took her hand and walked out, "Let’s go back."
Bella Acker didn’t really want to go back, and pleaded, "Damian, let’s watch the snow a bit more, it’s so beautiful."
Damian helplessly replied, "Be careful of catching a cold."
"Just for a while! Just a moment!" Bella Acker insisted on not moving.
"Don’t cry if you catch a cold tomorrow." Damian had no choice but to pull her back into his arms and wrap her in his coat to prevent her from actually freezing and catching a cold.
Bella Acker felt sweet inside as she leaned against him and watched the snowflakes flying outside the pavilion, unable to help but exclaim, "At a time like this, having an ice cream would be perfect."
"Don’t even think about it." Damian said, "You can either watch the snow or eat a couple of bites of ice cream, pick one."
"Ice cream can only be two bites, then let’s watch the snow scene. Anyway, as long as I’m with you, everything is good." Bella Acker was already quite content leaning in his arms.
Damian’s lips curled slightly, tightening his arm around her waist and holding her more firmly.
The two stood in the pavilion for a long time, while the community, which occasionally had people moving around, had become completely quiet.
"Damian..."
"Hmm?" Damian looked down at her, simultaneously kissing the top of her head.
Bella Acker felt a bit embarrassed, "Let’s go back, it’s getting cold."
"Not watching the snow scene anymore?" Damian teased.
"Not watching, not watching, we’ll both turn into popsicles if we stay any longer." Bella Acker stepped out from his embrace, took his hand, and felt it, "Your hand is ice cold, let’s go back."
She herself had been kept warm in Damian’s embrace, but his hand had been outside freezing. Bella Acker felt his icy hand and immediately felt sorry she hadn’t noticed earlier.
"My hand is cold, you should warm it for me." Damian said, extending his hand.
Bella Acker looked at him, then at his outstretched hand, smiled warmly, and took his hand, "Alright, I’ll keep warming it for you."
Damian’s eyes gleamed with laughter, "Let’s go."
"Okay."
A thin layer of snow had already accumulated on the stone path of the community, and it crunched underfoot.
The two walked together in the swirling snow, neither intentionally slowing down nor speeding up, just strolling back leisurely.
When they returned, they both had some snow on them.
Bella Acker and Damian waited for the elevator; inside they found themselves again with the couple they encountered earlier. Such a coincidence was a bit embarrassing.
Bella Acker exchanged a small smile with the girl as a greeting, but they didn’t speak further.
The elevator reached the 12th floor, and Bella Acker and Damian stepped out first. After the elevator doors closed and continued going up, Bella Acker whispered, "Damian, that girl kept secretly looking at me, is there something on my face?"
"Your lips are a bit swollen." Damian calmly replied while taking out the key to open the door.
"Ah!" Bella Acker immediately raised her hand to cover her mouth, "Bad guy, why didn’t you remind me! Now they definitely know..." Know that she just kissed him. It’s so embarrassing.
Damian opened the door and pulled her inside, then pushed her against the closed door, leaning down to ask, "What do they definitely know? Hmm?" His deliberately drawn-out tone, deep and magnetic voice was full of seductive sensuality.
Bella Acker’s face instantly flushed red, shyly looking up at him.
