Chapter 35: Chapter 34: Heart-Wrenching Pain
Just the thought that in the future, Damian Sinclair will no longer be part of my life.
Even that his arms will hold another woman, showering her with affection and care.
Bella Acker’s heart aches with panic, as if an enormous hole has been dug out of her heart, leaving it empty and unanchored, needing urgent breaths to not succumb to the pain on the spot.
Bella Acker hugged her knees tightly, crouching on the ground, holding herself firmly, as tears fell heavily to the floor, "Damian Sinclair... Damian Sinclair..."
She kept repeating Damian Sinclair’s name, suddenly stood up, opened the door, and rushed out. The elevator happened to arrive at this floor, and she recklessly dashed inside like a madwoman, startling the neighbors who were about to exit the elevator.
At this moment, Bella Acker couldn’t care about anything else. When the elevator reached the first floor, she frantically dashed outside, not even caring when her shoes fell off, running barefoot ahead.
"Damian Sinclair!" She ran out of the community, to the gate, still unable to see that familiar silhouette.
Bella Acker looked around in despair, her face covered in tears.
During the day, there were many people coming and going at the community gate, and even adults playing with children nearby. Watching her rush out so hurriedly and crying so heavily, they all began to stare curiously.
Can’t find him! Can’t find him! Never can find him!
A person like Damian Sinclair, unless he chooses to see you, you will never be able to find him!
Having lost the child, and now lost the one she loves, without family or home, the desolation and cries in her heart finally caused Bella Acker to completely collapse.
"Bastard! You bastard!" Bella cursed twice, her voice gradually lowering, eventually only audible to herself, "Damian Sinclair, you’re a bastard. You have someone you love, why did you have to provoke me. Bastard."
Sandra Woods bought some stew and came back, seeing Bella Acker crouching tearfully at the gate, she quickly hurried up, "Bella, why did you come down? Come, let’s talk about it back home."
There were still many people watching the spectacle nearby, Sandra Woods angrily and fiercely shouted at those spectators, "What are you looking at, haven’t you seen anyone heartbroken before?"
After shouting, she helped Bella Acker up from the ground and went back.
Back at Sandra Woods’ home, Bella Acker’s emotions finally calmed down a bit. Thinking about her big cry at the community gate earlier, she felt ashamed, and her originally pale cheeks showed a hint of embarrassed blush, "Shannon, I’m sorry, I made you lose face with me."
"You still know how to feel shame, huh." Sandra Woods handed her a warm wet towel, "Wipe your face first. Weren’t you fine when I went out earlier? Why did you end up at the community gate?"
Bella Acker’s hand stopped as she wiped her face.
Sandra Woods, being smart, vaguely guessed something, "Could it be your boyfriend found his way here?"
"Mm." Bella Acker responded softly.
"Oh hey, quite capable huh." Sandra Woods frowned, "Bella, did you tell him you live here?"
"No... no." Bella Acker shook her head, "Living here is already troubling you so much, there’s no... no way I would tell him."
"Then the fact that he managed to find you here, really shows he has quite the ability." Sandra Woods said, "Bella, did he bully you again?"
"No." Bella Acker looked up at Sandra Woods, her eyes that she finally stopped crying suddenly turned red again, "Shannon, it’s just me thinking that I won’t be able to see him again in the future, it hurts so much I chased after him. You don’t have to worry, I... I will stop doing that in the future."
