Chapter 911: The Realm of Ice Elves (10)

The battlefield became a symphony of chaos orchestrated by Luna’s will, her strategy centered on breaking the enemy’s morale and turning their own strength against them. Every spell, every illusion, and every calculated move added to the growing despair that consumed the ice elves. She was the puppeteer of their doom, and the battlefield her stage.

The battle raged on in the frozen ravine, with the party of six pushing deeper into the icy depths, their movements calculated and precise as the chill of the landscape matched the cold fury of their enemies. They had already fought tooth and nail against the ice elves and their monstrous mounts, but now, the Frostbound Revenants emerged from the frozen earth, their hollow eyes glowing with a deathly light.

Orion stood firm at the forefront, his Blood Manipulation reaching new heights as his form pulsed with raw crimson energy. The ground cracked beneath his feet, his massive form moving with surprising agility. His sword glowed with a faint red aura as he raised it high, preparing for the oncoming charge.

A Frostbound Revenant, its frozen armor like jagged ice, swung its massive ice-wreathed axe at Orion. He sidestepped, his movement fluid and precise as his blood-forged gauntlets absorbed the force of the blow. As the revenant swung again, Orion twisted his body, dodging the axe and using Blood Sacrifice to summon a tendril of blood that lashed out, binding the revenant’s axe to the ground, immobilizing it for a crucial moment.

With a roar, Orion raised his blade high, using Battlefield Mastery to predict the revenant’s movements. In a single, devastating strike, he cleaved through its frozen armor, the force of the blow sending ice shards scattering in all directions. The revenant crumbled, but as its body shattered, a wave of cold energy burst outward, freezing the ground beneath Orion’s feet. He gritted his teeth, summoning a Crimson Shield from his blood to protect himself, holding the line as more revenants emerged.

Findir darted through the air, his Wind Manipulation allowing him to blur into motion faster than his enemies could react. His daggers, imbued with Void Dagger Coating, gleamed in the dim light of the ravine as he moved like a shadow among the revenants.

A revenant lunged at him with a wild swipe of its frozen longsword, but Findir vanished in a gust of wind, reappearing behind it with a flash. He plunged his daggers into the revenant’s back, his strikes swift and precise. The first dagger found its mark, cracking through the revenant’s ribs, while the second struck its heart with a burst of Void Energy, the dark force disintegrating the corpse in an instant.

However, the fight was far from over. As more revenants closed in, Findir activated Haste, his movements becoming even faster, his body a blur as he weaved between enemies. He struck one revenant’s skull with a brutal thrust, then vanished again, only to reappear in the midst of the swarm, cutting down another with expert precision.

His Presence Erasure made him nearly invisible as he took advantage of every opening, always staying one step ahead of the revenants, his agility and speed keeping him from being overwhelmed.

Cy, his armor now pulsing with shadowy energy from his Armor of the Abyss, stood resolute, his spear raised high. The revenants’ strikes were powerful, but Cy’s immense strength allowed him to absorb their blows with his Abyssal Shield, the dark energy of the shield absorbing the force of the impact. When a revenant lunged with an ice spear, Cy blocked it with his shield and countered with a brutal thrust of his own spear, piercing the revenant’s icy chest.

The surrounding revenants closed in, but Cy unleashed Wave of Darkness, sending a shockwave of shadow energy across the battlefield. The wave tore through the advancing enemies, sending several revenants flying backward. As they stumbled, Cy advanced, his spear becoming a blur of motion as he dispatched the weakened foes with precise, brutal thrusts.

A revenant grabbed at him with its icy, frozen hands, but Cy slammed his Abyssal Shield down, shattering the revenant’s grip. He then used his Empower ability, increasing his strength to unimaginable levels. With a single, devastating swing of his spear, he cleaved through the revenant’s head, sending it crashing to the ground.

Bella was a living inferno, her Flame Shield blazing brightly, casting long shadows across the ice. As the revenants closed in, she raised her staff, calling upon her magic with a single, powerful gesture. Summon: Fire Spirits erupted from the ground, their blazing forms circling around her like wolves of flame.

One revenant swung its massive axe toward her, but Bella was ready. She extended her hand, Flame Manipulation conjuring a torrent of fire that collided with the revenant, engulfing it in a pillar of scorching heat. The revenant howled as its frozen armor cracked and shattered, but before it could fall, Bella’s Fire Spirits leapt forward, engulfing it entirely in a fiery embrace. The revenant’s form disintegrated in seconds, leaving only a pile of molten ice.

Another revenant lunged at her, but Bella summoned Will of Flames, enhancing her fire magic to a new level. She slammed her staff into the ground, causing a massive Fireball to explode in a wide arc, vaporizing the ice beneath and incinerating several revenants in its path.

Her flames were an unstoppable force, cutting through the revenants with relentless fury, but Bella remained vigilant, her eyes constantly scanning for any threats that might catch her off guard.

Aisa moved like a shadow, her Ghost Step allowing her to phase in and out of existence, making her nearly impossible to track. As revenants advanced, she appeared behind one, her Silent Blade flashing in a blur of motion. Her blade cut through the revenant’s spine, the creature’s frozen form shattering as she flicked her wrist, withdrawing her blade with ghostly precision.

However, the revenants were relentless. A group of them closed in, their frozen weapons raised high. Aisa activated High Ghostly Presence, becoming semi-transparent as she danced between their strikes. One revenant swung its ice sword at her, but she phased through the attack, reappearing behind it in a swirl of mist. She delivered a flurry of rapid strikes, cutting deep into the revenant’s side, her daggers carving through its body like a reaper’s scythe.

When a revenant tried to grab her, Aisa used Ghost Step again, evading the attack by phasing through its grasp and reappearing on its back. She drove her blade into its skull, silencing it in a single, fluid motion.

Luna’s presence was like a dream, one that twisted and bent the world around her. Her Nightmare Projection expanded, plunging the battlefield into a surreal realm of terror. The revenants faltered for a moment as their worst fears took form, their hollow eyes filled with panic.

Luna grinned, her Illusory Magic weaving a web of nightmares that made the revenants turn on each other. One revenant raised its axe, but before it could strike, it found itself facing a monstrous version of itself, an illusion of pure terror. The revenant swung wildly, but the illusion vanished, leaving it vulnerable to Luna’s next move. She cast Mind Fog, clouding the revenants’ minds and making them attack their own kin in confusion.

A massive ice wyrm appeared from the mist, charging toward Luna with fangs bared. Luna cast Mirror Image, creating duplicates of herself that darted through the fray. The wyrm snapped at the illusions, but Luna herself was nowhere to be seen. As the wyrm turned toward the real Luna, she unleashed Nightmare Bolt, the powerful blast of energy shattering the creature’s icy hide and reducing it to nothing but fragments.

The party was relentless. Each member moved in perfect synchronization, their abilities complementing each other in a seamless display of power and strategy. They fought as one, using their strengths to prevent the revenants from overwhelming them. With every fallen foe, more emerged from the ground, but the party held their ground, refusing to yield in the frozen ravine. The battle was far from over, but they were ready to face whatever horrors awaited.

The battle had already grown chaotic, the frost of the ravine stinging against their skin and the oncoming enemies relentless. But now, from the depths of the icy chasm, emerged the Glacial Colossus—a towering behemoth of jagged ice and snow, its massive form blocking the way forward, its towering arms swinging like glaciers through the storm. It roared, its voice like the rumbling of an avalanche, sending tremors through the ground beneath the party’s feet. The ice elves had retreated to the sides, awaiting the colossal battle that was about to unfold.

The party of six steeled themselves, bracing for the brutal fight ahead. The moment they saw the colossus’ massive hands swinging toward them, they knew their coordination would be tested like never before.

Orion’s eyes blazed with intensity, his veins glowing with crimson power. His massive form, now rippling with Blood Manipulation, was ready to engage. As the Glacial Colossus took its first step toward them, the ground shook beneath Orion’s feet. He planted his feet firmly, his gauntlet-wrapped fists glowing with blood-forged energy.
