The Fear Beast, with wings spanning ten meters, swept in from the gray heavens. The position where Remon was located was shrouded in its shadow. Then, this Giant Beast dove into the human array, overturning their fragile resistance.

Remon, along with dozens of his comrades, was knocked into the sky by the Giant Beast. In fear and turmoil, Remon crashed onto the ground, feeling like his internal organs had shifted out of place.

The long halberd fell not far away, and the young Halberdier felt like a rag doll crashing onto the ground. Thankfully, the damp grassland and muddy ground significantly cushioned the impact. Otherwise, Remon knew he might have died on the spot.

Before he could recover from the dizziness, the young Halberdier’s worst fear came true. The Giant Beast landed and noticed him. Its bat-like large head opened its mouth, drooling a long string of saliva.

A sickening stench filled Remon’s nose. He began to crawl in terror, slowly retreating. His legs gave way as he supported himself with his hands, desperately moving backward through the mud and piles of bodies: "No...don’t come near, don’t come near, ahhhhhhh!!!"

"Hoo~ Roar~" The Fear Beast crouched on the muddy battlefield, its forelegs on the ground, mouth wide open, charging step by step towards Remon.

This Giant Beast seemed to revel in the soldiers’ fear, enjoying the feeling of mortal terror and awe, causing it to slow its attack.

Watching humans like Remon writhing in the mud delighted it.

Hmm? What’s that bright light?

The Fear Beast instinctively looked up.

"Soul Flame!" A soft voice pierced through the battlefield.

Within Remon’s blue eyes, a scene was reflected: a beam of white laser pierced through the Fear Beast’s body from the side. A whole chunk of flesh was evaporated under the purifying beam’s energy. The Giant Beast howled, collapsing and crushing two Halberdiers.

"Flaming Storm!" The second spell followed, a red storm of flames sweeping through the battlefield, covering the engagement points of the Undead Army and Human Army, granting the retreating humans a breather.

"Hoo~ Hoo~" Remon gasped, still shaken. His heart was pounding wildly, the feeling of narrowly escaping death rendering him somewhat disoriented.

Despite the pain in his body, Remon struggled to stand up. He could feel his arm dislocated, and his internal organs hurt so much that blood seeped from the corners of his mouth. He nearly lay down on the soft, muddy ground to rest with his eyes closed.

But he got up, found his long halberd, and rallied the soldiers to regroup.

On the chaotic battlefield, over a hundred remaining Halberdiers gathered, each bearing injuries.

"Advance! For the Lady! For Brittania!"

In Remon’s vision, Brittania’s counterattack began. The steel torrent composed of Knights overran the entire Undead Array. Duke of Winford, Francois, clad in blue and white enchanted armor, charged at the forefront, singing holy slogans, leading thousands in a flanking maneuver to confront the Undead Knight Legion head-on.

"For the Lady! For Winford!" The Unicorn Sword in Francois’ hand burst forth with dazzling light. The knights’ ornate armor reflected a blinding glare on the battlefield. All Undead Knights within five meters of him were purified and incinerated into ashes. Then, the Duke’s Unicorn Sword consecutively struck down two Undead Knights, the Divine Sword blazing with platinum flames raised high once more: "The Lady grants me victory!!!"

All the Undead Knights within five meters of him once more became a pile of ashes.

The Undead Knight Legion proved incapable of resisting Francois’ tremendous power.

Cheers erupted from the Central Army - evidently, the Undead Knight Legion was no match for the Brittania Knights. The sacred and proud Pegasus statue atop Francois’ cross helmet announced his glory. Under his leadership, the Cavalry Lance Array tore through the entire Undead line. The Alliance Army Knights from multiple duchies, like a sharp knife, deeply stabbed into the heart of the Undead Legion. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

The iron hooves of the Old World’s strongest knights charged towards the Central Army of the Ancient Tomb Legion mightily, mud flying, the Cavalry Lance Array piercing any undead creatures attempting to block them. Any undying creatures trying to evade the Goddess’ judgment were swiftly trampled and reaped by the warhorses.

On the right flank, the Dwarf Army, led by Belgar Iron Hammer, seamlessly dealt with the attacks from the Ancient Tomb Legion. Dwarves have always been a resilient race, stubbornly refusing to retreat or abandon their position. Under Belgar’s command, the dwarves stood like unyielding stones, blocking the Undead Knights’ assault.

Stationed on the right flank, the two Desolate Grave Guard Legions, once heavily relied upon by Kemler to smash through the Dwarf’s defense line, as the Undead Grand Mage was sure the Dwarf array lacked muskets and artillery, only containing a few Rangers.

Crossbow arrows cannot penetrate the iron armor of the Desolate Tomb Guard!

But the dwarves taught the Undead Grand Mage a lesson with their own means.

As the Desolate Grave Guard Legion gradually approached the Dwarf’s solid formation, under the loud orders of the Angland Oathsworn, all Broken Iron Warriors and Dwarf Miners took out hand grenades and detonators, igniting the fuses.
