Chapter 160: I’m your first baby
"You told your daughter what?"
Noah turned around. Maybe this was a good time to explain.
"Well, we’ve been away for a while, and so many things were going through my head, so I decided we should all take today off." Noah said, not including the part where Olivia asked not to go to school.
He would cover up for his darling daughter.
"It’s just one day so there’s no harm there." Noah said.
"Hm, just one day, you say." Michael repeated and turned to look at Olivia. "This better not turn into a habit. Skipping school isn’t good but I’ll permit it for just today." He said, and Olivia jumped up excited, but Michael secretly pouted.
He wanted to go for a morning round.
Noah saw this and sighed.
Guess there was no helping it.
"Olivia, have you brushed your teeth?" He asked and she nodded.
"Yes, and uncle already ordered our food so we can eat soon." She replied, rushing to the bed.
"Then, will you wait with your uncle while your Daddy and Papa go brush their teeth?" He suggested and Olivia nodded.
"Okay." She got down from the bed and hurried out. "Be quick, okay?" With that, she shut the door.
"You heard her." Noah said, turning to Michael. "We have to be quick."
"What are you...?" Michael did not realize Noah was heading to his request.
He followed Noah who pulled him by the arm and once they were in the bathroom, he grabbed Michael’s ass and said,
"Why are you acting so stunned? Weren’t you the one who wanted this? You were even sulking in front of your daughter. How shameless."
Michael blinked and then realized what he was trying to do.
His lips, as well as his eyes, curved and he hooked his arms around Noah’s neck.
"You seem to have forgotten something." He said and then leaned in to whisper into Noah’s ear. "I’m your first baby."
Noah’s eyes widened and then they crinkled.
Hah! He was so shamelessly hot so late in the morning.
"Then, let this daddy take care of you, baby." He said and then kissed him.
They just did it a while back and though they were just waking up and hadn’t brushed, neither was concerned about that.
They just wanted to hurry and get burned by each other’s heat.
"Olivia, where’s your Papa and Daddy?" Alyssa asked, seeing Olivia skip back into the living room.
"Um, they went to brush their teeth really quickly." She said and Alyssa blinked her eyes.
The child didn’t say anything wrong but why did it sound like they were up to something other than brushing?
Ah, there was no way they would kick the kid out just to brush.
Her face flushed.
Seriously, she shouldn’t be thinking about stuff like that.
"What’s wrong with your face, aunty? You’re red." Olivia said, poking her cheek.
"It... It’s nothing." She said and then glanced towards Roland. When would she get to be intertwined with someone with a hot body?
She bit her lip, regretful that she wasn’t a very bold person when it came to these sorts of matters.
Roland noticed her stare and, though he had formed a habit of just ignoring her stare and letting her do what she wanted, he had begun to enjoy the reactions he got when he raised his head, and she quickly flustered away.
So, he raised his gaze and as their eyes met, her face got even redder.
She quickly turned her head and walked away.
"I... I’ll go check something." She said as she made her escape.
A smirk played on Roland’s lips. How was she so gullible?
"Whatcha reading, uncle?" Olivia asked, and he rolled his eyes towards the little girl who had gotten in front of him before he even realized it.
"A book." He said.
"I see that. What book?"
"One that’s not for your age, apparently." He said and flipped the page.
"I know. You wouldn’t be caught reading a children’s book in your alone time anyway." She said and his eyebrow slightly twitched.
Then, what did she want to hear?
No, she wasn’t here to ask about the book. She just needed something to do because she was so free.
Without even realizing it, Roland had become a full-blown nanny. His job was both a doctor and a bodyguard. But since there was no danger, he simply took care of the little one with Alyssa.
It was a journey he did not expect to go on. And he was filled with different emotions. Emotions that, to this day, he could not explain.
But when he looked at the little one, he knew for a fact that the bond he shared with her was far stronger than he originally planned.
Heck, he never planned to make a bond and wished Noah would be back before the child was even born.
But here he was, playing uncle, and no longer entertaining the thoughts of getting an island at the end of this.
Yet... He felt he would need to get his island soon because he wouldn’t be able to stay with this family for much longer. And when that time came, he would part with this little fireball.
He placed down his book and looked at her.
"What do you really want to ask?" He asked and she smiled innocently.
"Are there any amusement parks nearby that Papa and Daddy can take me to?" She asked right away and he stared at her with his lazy eyes.
"You want to enjoy your day of not being in school, is that it?" He asked and she nodded. "Well, there are a few but... What do you think people would say about your Papa and Daddy when they see them take a child who’s supposed to be in school to an amusement park?" He asked and Olivia paused.
Ah, she didn’t think of that.
"Instead of that, why don’t you make such plans for Saturday. And for today, visit a cafe with them or something?"
"But won’t people still look at Daddy and Papa that way?" She asked but he shook his head.
"Not if they assume they’re trying to make you feel better after recovering." He suggested and she thought about it.
Couldn’t they also use that excuse for going to the amusement park?
Well, whatever.
"Then, we’ll go with your plan."
He watched her skip away and then shook his head.
’They grow up so fast.’
