Magnus tried keeping Phantasia in tracks by unleashing countless waves of water spells at the monstrosity, but Phantasia wasn’t stopping at all and was closing up the distance.

However, as Phantasia fist smashed into sea dragon, his fist smashed through the dragon body... But that wasn’t right.
The body of the dragon turned into pure liquid, before then merging with the black sea.

(I can’t detect him.) – thought Phantasia.
(But he can’t stay like this for long.) – thought Phantasia as he was looking for anything "odd" to appear.

Phantasia instantly noticed something near the wall that was furthest away from him.
"[Cursed Necromancy: Lost Suffering]!"

[A necromancer that curses the life and devours the death. A necromancer class that focuses on combining both power of curses and necromancy into one.]
A hail of cursed souls flew at the bubbling water, which in the next moment took on the form of a massive sea dragon.
"!?" – and as Magnus emerged from the black sea, he was instantly hit with the souls, which went through the dragon’s body, inflicting massive amount of damage as well as curses.
(I’ve looked it up with the help of water dragons!) – thought Phantasia as he started unleashing barrages of cursed bone blades at leviathan, forcing Magnus on defense as he deployed [Sea Beast: Turtle], manifesting a massive sea turtle shell in front of the leviathan that blocked countless shots.
(Leviathans are dragon monsters of destruction.)
(They possess extremely powerful magical abilities, while also possessing somewhat strong natural defense.)
(Be it physical or magical type defense.)
(However Magnus, you are a full mage.)
(In the past, your leviathan form was more than enough to defend against our attacks, since this bullshit form pure defense was already high enough.)
(I can probably guess that your item skills and stats stays when you are in that form.)
(You can probably also use the water magic for the defense and support, since many water type classes do have that characteristic.)

(WHAT ABOUT DEBUFFS?! DO YOU HAVE COUNTER FOR THIS?!)

Phantasia was correct.
Magnus leviathan race was consider as one of the strongest races amongst the players, as it provided several powerful passive abilities.
Even in the past, when both Phantasia and Arthur teamed up against Magnus, his pure defense was straight up overwhelming.
However, at the current stage, his defense is nowhere near enough to handle along Phantasia’s direct attacks, especially the close-range combat.
But Magnus wasn’t dumb.
His new classes, they maybe fully defense focused, but they do have some solid defenses.
Not only that, Magnus took some support focused water mage classes which would not only boost further his own survivability, but also power up his water magic.
In short, Magnus wasn’t stupid.

But at the same time, there was one problem he couldn’t deal with by just being a pure offensive mage with only few survival-oriented classes and powerful defensive skills.
It was the negative status.
True, Magnus could easily remove some weaker debuffs, but not the attacks that Phantasia was launching.
Poison, curses and all sorts of debuffs.
They were beyond nasty.
And these nasty debuffs were hindering Magnus more and more, allowing Phantasia to once again close up the distance.
(SHIT! THIS ISN’T GOOD! I CAN’T KEEP HIM BACK!) – thought panicking Magnus as he started unleashing his stronger water skills, unleashing massive sea serpent monsters at Phantasia.... However, the monstrosity of flesh and metal just smacked away the attacks.
Magnus tried unleashing a massive sea serpent monster water construct at Phantasia, but he just used his ginormous claws to just rip apart Magnus attack.
(HOW?!) – thought panicking Magnus as Phantasia swung his claws at the massive dragon, aiming to grab the sea mage.
"[Sea Conquest: Sea King Shield]!" – but as the attack came, Magnus used his remaining ring to form a massive jewel shield of water.
Phantasia attack was blocked.... But not completely, as the claws sunk into the shield, ripping it up a bit.
"!?"
(I can’t move?!) – however, Phantasia realized too late, the shield not only blocked his attack, but also locked it in the place."
"[De’gudan Wrath]!" - and right as Phantasia arm was stuck, Magnus started gathering massive amount of water and demonic energies.
(This attack has annoying fucking charge time, but even so! The fucking damage done by this thing is something even you can’t handle easily!) – thought Magnus.
(Even if this won’t kill you, it will at least rip off one or two limbs!) – thought Magnus as he charging up his skill while Thauma arm was still stuck inside of the massive water shield.
(Fuck! I can’t break it up!) – thought Phantasia who was unleashing skill one after another, ripping apart the water jewel shield from inside with his trapped claw.
The demonic and water energies started taking a solid shape, signaling that the skill was about to get fired.
However, just as Magnus was about to unleash it, the false harpies began unleashing their sonic scream attacks at Magnus.
But even that wasn’t enough to distract or disturb Magnus.
"[Un-"
But just as Magnus was about to unleash his attack, right from underneath him, from the surface below the water, Phantasia tail sprouted from the ground, already opened up into two segments.
Magnus was met with the tail railgun right in front of his face and as he was about to unleash his skill, Phantasia unleashed his own weapon, firing a powerful blast of red thunder which fried leviathan.
However, even that blast was nowhere near enough to stop Magnus, he just took on the blast without care, being fully aware that the attack would hit.
And that was the worst kind of mistake Magnus could had made.
[Your skill has been forceful canceled.]
"!?"
(WHAT?!) - thought Magnus as the blast he was about to unleash just collapsed right in front of his eyes.
Phantasia fused into his body several new monsters.
Phantasia went to the monster filled mountain to hunt down some monsters... But he didn’t only went there.
Or more specifically, into the underground.
No.
There was one monster above the ground, above the mountains that he had hunted.
[Desert Thunder Wyvern]
A boss monster that flew above the mountains and dominated the skies there.
This boss monster wasn’t obviously as strong as the monsters you could find the depths of that dangerous zone.
However, these wyvern were much stronger than regular desert wyverns.
And they were also quiet known as annoying foes to many players.
The Mage Slayers.
The desert wyvern posed something called [Magic Disruption Lighting], a lighting type skill that can cancel or negate magic on contact. This lighting can also make the player who are casting spell to have their spell get interrupted and chancel right on the spot, making them beyond annoying.
However, the most annoying is the Desert Thunder Queen Wyvern.
And her improved version of that skill called [Negation Disruption Lighting].
This skill works somewhat the same as the skill mentioned before, but with much more powerful disturbance effect.
However, there is a main difference.
This skill upon landing a direct hit can even canceled and disturb other skills that are currently being used or casted by the hit players.
And that means not just spell skills, but all skills.
Phantasia tail was made using the body of that wyvern queen and the railgun tail was designed in the way to maximize the effect of that lighting, empowering its power to disturb magic and negate skills.
And that was Phantasia’s secret weapon.
The skill destroyed.
(HOW?! THIS SHOULDN’T-) – Magnus was completely dumbfounded by what just happened as one of his strongest attacks was straight up destroyed before he could even fire it.
But Phantasia didn’t cared, as he was finally able to smash shield open.
Magnus tried instinctively backing off as Phantasia aimed to reach for him.... But there was problem.
A wall was right behind Magnus.
"OUT OF TRICKS?!" – shouted Phantasia as he grabbed the hold of Magnus by his neck.
"Then I guess you die." – said Phantasia with a smile as he then started pummeling Magnus nonstop, stacking up ginormous amount of damage nonstop.
Obviously, Magnus tried casting some spells to counter attack, but Phantasia either blocked the attacks with his own spells or just tanked the hits, completely ignoring the damage they were dealing.
And it wasn’t just Magnus who was getting destroyed right now.
His monster army was straight up getting swallowed by Phantasia’s monsters, annihilating the sea demons and sea monsters.
It was a straight up genocide at this point.
(FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!) – thought Magnus as he desperately struggle, trying to regain his freedom while also unleashing blasts after blasts right in Phantasia’s face, only for the monster player to endure.
(I can’t cast powerful enough spells to knock back that fucking fat ass!) – thought Magnus as Phantasia started using his claws to rip out chunks of the massive leviathan’s body.
(I can only use instant cast spells, but they are doing shit to him!)
"At this rate I will really fucking die!" – said Phantasia.
"Is that what you think?" – asked Phantasia as Magnus face went pale.
"Last time we fought you were one wrecking my ass."
"But look now?"
"How the roles reversed so lovely!" – shouted Phantasia as punched the leviathan so hard that his entire body straight up shattered the wall behind him, sending the massive dragon right in the next zone once again.
"Ah..."
"I will enjoy beating the living shit out of you."
"Mate!"
