Chapter 271: Chapter: 270 Terror of Jasmine [1]
"Ball Crusher! Ball Crusher! Ball Crusher!"
The deafening chant echoed throughout the enormous arena, rolling across the countless rows of spectators like a tidal wave.
Tens of thousands of voices joined together, shaking the stone structure itself as they celebrated the conclusion of yet another ranked battle.
The announcer’s voice had barely faded before the crowd erupted once more.
Jasmine had won.
After three long years of climbing through the rankings, fighting one powerful opponent after another, she had finally secured the Fourth Rank.
The spectators were practically losing their minds.
Many stood from their seats while shouting her alias at the top of their lungs. Some waved banners carrying crude drawings of boots while others laughed hysterically as they joined the chant.
The reputation she had accumulated over the years had become legendary.
It wasn’t because she was the strongest, it was because absolutely nobody wanted to experience what happened to the men unfortunate enough to provoke her.
Meanwhile, her defeated opponent was being carried away by a group of healers.
The woman had been reduced to a miserable state.
Sword wounds covered nearly every part of her body. Cuts crisscrossed her arms, shoulders, and legs while blood still stained her torn combat uniform.
Despite her condition, she remained conscious as the healers transported her from the arena.
The deciding factor had ultimately been swordsmanship.
Their skills in swordsmanship were similar, their combat experience comparable, but Jasmine had managed to seize a tiny opening during the final exchange and turn it into victory.
Of course, victory had not come cheaply.
Jasmine herself looked barely better, her left arm hung at an unnatural angle.
Only a small patch of flesh still connected the nearly severed limb to her body.
A deep gash stretched across her waist, blood continuously pouring from the wound before the healers quickly sealed it.
Numerous stab wounds dotted her body while her face appeared noticeably pale from blood loss.
Even standing seemed difficult. Fortunately, the arena’s healers were among the best.
Soft healing light continuously flowed from their hands as they worked.
The torn flesh reconnected. Within several minutes, Jasmine’s condition improved dramatically.
She still looked exhausted, but at least she no longer appeared on the verge of collapsing.
Once the healers finally finished, Jasmine reached into her robe and produced a small silver bell.
Ring.
The soft sound carried through the nearby area. The two female healers immediately smiled.
Over the years, they had grown familiar with this routine.
Jasmine gently rang the bell again.
Ring.
It was her way of saying thank you. Since she pretended to be mute, the bell had become her substitute voice.
The healers exchanged amused glances.
One of them chuckled softly before patting Jasmine’s shoulder.
The other simply nodded. Neither needed words to understand her gratitude anymore.
After thanking them, Jasmine finally turned and walked toward the waiting area beside the arena.
The noisy cheers continued behind her.
"BALL CRUSHER!"

"BALL CRUSHER!"
"BALL CRUSHER!"
The chants somehow seemed even louder now.
Jasmine’s eye twitched.
Every single time, that stupid nickname followed her.
As she stepped into the shaded waiting area, the bright sunlight disappeared behind her.
The interior remained considerably darker than the arena itself.
A lone figure waited there.
Kavin.
Although the darkness obscured much of his face, Jasmine immediately sensed the grin plastered across it.
Her eye twitched again.
That grin annoyed her more than the chanting crowd. Because she already knew exactly what he was thinking.
Unfortunately, the reason for her infamous alias was entirely her own fault.
The memory surfaced immediately.
During her first ranked battle, she had fought the Tenth Ranked fighter. Some self-proclaimed Poison Monster.
The battle itself had not been particularly memorable. The idiot, however, had spent half the fight making inappropriate comments.
After enduring it for long enough, Jasmine had delivered a single kick.
A very precise kick.
The resulting scream had echoed throughout the entire arena. Unfortunately, the crowd had found it hilarious.
Things somehow became even worse during her second ranked match. Her opponent had attempted to provoke her mentally.
He had called her every insult imaginable.
Slut.
Bitch.
Whore.
And then, for some reason, he had started making comments about Kavin.
That had been a mistake.
Jasmine still remembered the surge of anger that had exploded inside her. The kick she delivered afterward had been considerably stronger than the first one.
Much stronger.
The crowd had witnessed the horrifying scene. The sound had apparently been unforgettable.
What Jasmine refused to admit was that she had experienced an odd feeling afterward.
A strange sense of satisfaction.
Not because she enjoyed hurting people.
But because seeing arrogant idiots instantly transformed into sobbing wrecks was strangely enjoyable.
After that, the nickname spread like wildfire.
The Ball Crushing Witch.
The Ball Crusher.
The Terror of Men.
The arena had its own variation.

The result was that male fighters now avoided her like a plague.
Even men stronger than her often refused challenges whenever possible.
After all, losing a match was one thing.
Losing something considerably more important was another matter entirely.
Ironically, most of her recent ranked battles had been against female opponents.
The men simply wanted no part of it. No one wanted to risk spending the rest of their lives singing soprano.
"Fortunately, no man came to fight you today."
Kavin’s chuckle echoed through the waiting room. Jasmine immediately shot him an unimpressed look.
’Who would dare fight me?’ She lightly snorted while ringing her bell once.
Despite disliking the nickname, she couldn’t deny that she appreciated the results. Since gaining her reputation, harassment had practically disappeared.
No one made inappropriate comments anymore. No one tried provoking her with disgusting remarks.
No one attempted anything foolish. Those who had ignored the warnings had learned valuable life lessons.
Painful life lessons.
Many of them now treated their wives more like sisters.
Kavin swallowed. A tiny shiver ran down his spine.
’Thank God she’s my woman.’ The thought surfaced automatically.
The mere idea of experiencing one of Jasmine’s famous kicks made him instinctively protect a certain area.
It was horrifying.....absolutely horrifying.
More importantly, he still intended to have children someday.
A very large number of children, preferably. A proper sports team would be ideal.
Jasmine seemed to share that goal.
Hopefully.
Which meant she probably wouldn’t crush his balls regardless of what happened.
Hopefully.
"Have you prepared for your duel?" Jasmine’s question interrupted his increasingly disturbing train of thought.
Kavin’s expression immediately became serious. The upcoming battle was no joke.
Jasmine had reached Fourth Rank. Her opponent had been someone who successfully passed the 2nd Trial.
Even securing victory against such an opponent had pushed Jasmine to her absolute limits.
Kavin’s situation was considerably worse.
His next opponent was the Third Ranked fighter. A monster who had already passed the Second Trial.
The difference between them was enormous. Under normal circumstances, neither Jasmine nor Kavin should have made it this far.
Their cultivation levels simply weren’t impressive enough. Compared to the true monsters of the rankings, they were severely lacking.
Yet somehow they had continued winning.
Combined with their experience and willingness to exploit every possible advantage, they had carved an undefeated path through opponents who should have crushed them long ago.
Kavin remained silent for several moments. Then he released a long sigh.
"I’ve come up with a plan." His expression turned complicated.
"But securing victory will still be difficult. That guy is a monster." The seriousness in his voice immediately caught Jasmine’s attention.
"It seems...I will need to use that."
