Chapter 160: I Choose All of You
Outside Dr. Ana’s office door, Hellen, Reyes, and Ivory stood huddled close together in the quiet hallway, their voices low but sharp with anger as they whispered heated plans about how to deal with Felix once and for all.
They had no idea what was happening inside the room, focused only on their shared rage.
"That bastard Felix should have left this city for good after I beat him down so hard,"Hellen said with a deep snarl, her fists clenching tight until her knuckles turned white. Her honey-citrus scent grew strong and angry, filling the air around them.
"Maybe the beating you gave him was not hard enough. I should have been the one to beat him up until he could not move,"Reyes said, her face dark with a scowl.
Her cedar-steel scent sharpened as she leaned forward, her eyes narrow with thoughts of violence. She cracked her knuckles one by one.
"Kien is still around too, that fool will not leave her alone,"Hellen replied, scowling right back at Reyes. She squared her broad shoulders, ready for a fight even in talk.
"Those two have increased their security a lot now. It is too risky to go after them directly for the time being,"Ivory said in a calm, thinking voice. She leaned against the wall with her arms crossed, her chili-lime scent steady and cool. "They are too impulsive when it comes to their egos. That makes them predictable. They will make mistakes later because of it."
"Felix left the city for a while after the beating, but he came back too soon,"Hellen said with a grunt, her jaw tight.
"That was your mistake, Hellen. You let him get away,"Reyes snarled at her.
"Both of you did your job imperfectly,"Ivory said with a small teasing wink, though her eyes stayed serious.
"Yeah? Your mistake is Kien still being alive. You should have killed him when you had the chance,"Hellen shot back quickly, her voice hot with blame.
"Kien is hiding behind his private security business now. He has mercenaries and high-tech protection everywhere,"Ivory explained in a flat tone. "But one thing is clear. All four of them are a bunch of idiots and bastards. They never learn their lessons, no matter what we do."
Before Hellen could argue back, the door creaked open just a bit. Their eyes turned fast to look inside. They saw Dr. Ana’s lips pressed hard against Emily’s in a fierce, possessive kiss. Dr. Ana’s tongue pushed deep, claiming her fully.
Emily’s chignon bun came loose, her raven hair spilling wild. Her small body pressed close, moaning soft into the kiss. A glossy strand of saliva shone as Dr. Ana pulled back, both breathing heavy.
Hellen froze in the doorway, her body filling the frame. Her eyes went almost black with possessive anger. "Dr. Ana... you better explain now what the hell that was,"she growled in a deep voice that shook the room. Her honey-citrus scent exploded with fury.
Reyes stepped forward fast, her fists clenched so hard her knuckles stayed white. She looked ready to fight. "Get your hands off her right now—back the fuck up slow."’
Ivory gave a dark, throaty laugh, her chili scent sharp and ready. "Compatible alpha match, huh? Real bold move there, doc—but newsflash, she is my mine. Step the hell off gracefully."
Dr. Ana stood straight, her calm doctor face back in place fast. Her desert-oasis scent still hung in the air, strong with claim. "Biology doesn’t ask permission or wait for invites—we’ll talk details later civilized."She let go of Emily slowly, her eyes staying on her with a mix of conflict and hunger.
Emily blushed deep red as she glanced nervously at the alphas, her cheeks burning hot while her heart sank heavy with a cold dread—something bad was definitely going to happen once they got her home, she could feel it deep in her bones like a warning chill.
"Guys, I am... so sorry, okay? I didn’t mean for any of this,"she started soft and hesitant, her voice shaky small as she fidgeted with the reports still clutched in her hands.
"Emily, you are really acting like a vixen here,"Reyes said with a dark, accusing edge, her eyes narrowing sharp and cold. "Why do you need to pick up so many alphas like this? Aren’t we enough for you—more than enough?"
"’We?’ What exactly are you talking about?"Emily asked confused and wide-eyed, blinking fast in surprise.
They always fought and argued over who got time with her first, but this time they stood together civil as a solid team, united in their icy anger.
Hellen crossed her massive arms over her broad chest, looming larger. "We have been tolerating each other this whole time—just for you, putting up with it. But now you go and find another alpha behind our backs like it’s nothing."
Ivory leaned in closer with a sharp smirk playing on her lips. "Dr. Ana, why did you lie to us all this time—keeping this secret?"
Dr. Ana shrugged calm and unapologetic, pulling a chair close with a scrape before sitting down and tugging Emily firmly onto her lap—Emily’s petite frame settling flush against her, loose chignon waves tickling Dr. Ana’s neck as Emily blushed even hotter scarlet, feeling the other alphas’ faces turn pitch black with raw jealousy.
"I thought I could stop my feelings completely, suppress them under my professional mask. But I just couldn’t anymore. Besides, kissing her felt really great—so incredibly sweet, so perfectly right, like it was meant to be,"Dr. Ana said casual almost lazy, her hand resting possessive and steady on Emily’s waist, thumb tracing a slow circle.
Emily squirmed light and uncomfortable on her lap. "Guys, please listen—this isn’t what any of you think it is, I swear."
"Emily, you will have to choose among us all right here and now,"Hellen said final and unyielding, her voice thunder-steady deep.
"But it’s not fair at all!"Emily’s emerald eyes teared up quick and bright, spilling over as she thought of them all so close to her heart—Hellen’s gentle warmth and strength, Reyes’ solid protection, Ivory’s playful fire, Ana’s careful healing touch, even Lily’s quiet, steady spark that felt right too.
"It’s completely fair. Okay? Tell us who you pick. No time to drag this out or think,"Reyes pressed hard and relentless, stepping closer.
Emily took a deep shaky breath, wiping her wet cheeks with trembling fingers. "You all mean so much to me, you’re all close in different ways. What even happens if I choose just one? How will the other four react—will you turn on each other?"
"Four?"Ivory blinked sharp and surprised, head tilting.
"What do you mean by ’four’ exactly?"Dr. Ana asked from below her, grip tightening faint but firm on Emily’s hip.
"I am considering Lily too. So, just tell me what happens,"Emily said brave despite her small voice, chin lifting a bit.
Hellen’s golden eyes darkened pure murder cold. "I will kill them all because I don’t want any competition breathing near you."The others nodded grim and serious—Reyes clenching her fist tight, Ivory flashing a wicked grin eager, Ana giving a cool steady nod.
"Or we kill the person she chooses first to remove them—then turn on each other fighting until only one stands last,"Reyes added cold and matter-of-fact, like discussing weather.
"Fine by me—works either way,"Dr. Ana said smooth and unbothered from her lap seat, hand stroking Emily’s side casual.
"I don’t like any of this! This isn’t fair at all! Why force me to decide like this...?"Emily’s eyes teared up fresh again, spilling hot down her flushed cheeks. She didn’t want them to get hurt... or turned against one another. They were talking about killing, which was making her really afraid.
"Don’t cry now, Emily. I won’t melt or back down from your tears or those sweet kisses today,"Ivory said firm and steady.
"No one here will—save the tears, they change nothing,"Hellen added steel-hard.
"So...? I really have to choose today? Knowing full well you will all just kill each other over my pick?"
"That’s inevitable either way—pick now or we will decide and force it for you,"Reyes growled low impatient.
Emily wiped her tears determined with the back of her hand, taking one last deep steadying breath as she looked at each face. "Fine then. I choose all of you—every single one."
Her bold words shocked them completely silent, faces frozen in stunned surprise—air thick and heavy with sudden tense electric tension hanging between them all.

Note: I have decided to make this novel into a harem. The regular readers know that each of them have so meaning in Emily’s life. They have done a lot of things for, and she can’t choose any one of them without any consequences.
