Chapter 50: Alchemy Talent Is Cheating

Damian immediately started his second refinement.

This time, his hands moved faster and steadier than before.

The herbs entered the cauldron one by one, the flame rose at the perfect moment, and the medicinal liquid slowly condensed without any signs of collapse.

A short while later...

Ding.

Another pill rolled out from the cauldron.

Damian picked it up and looked at it carefully.

Although it was still not perfect, the quality was clearly better than the first one.

His grin widened. "Good. Again."

He threw in another set of herbs.

Then another.

And another.

Time slowly passed, and the smell of medicine filled the entire room.

One pill after another appeared inside the cauldron, and to Damian’s shock, he did not fail even once.

By the time the tenth pill was finished, Damian sat there silently, staring at it on the table.

His expression was almost blank. "Damn..."

He picked up the tenth pill and noticed that its surface was already smooth, round, and filled with a much stronger medicinal fragrance.

Compared to the first rough pill, this one was clearly on another level.

At the very least, its quality should be above ninety percent.

Damian slowly raised his head, his eyes becoming brighter and brighter. "So after ten refinements, every pill I make can already reach top quality?"

For a moment, even he felt that his alchemist talent was ridiculous.

Then, slowly, a wide grin appeared on his face. "Hahaha... this isn’t just talent anymore."

He looked at the cauldron like it was a treasure. "This is cheating."

Then Damian picked up another set of herbs, his grin turning even wider. "Good. Let’s keep going."

Damian soon continued refining pill after pill, and no matter how many times he refined them, the result was always stable.

Every single pill came out smooth, round, and filled with a rich medicinal fragrance and not one of them dropped below ninety percent quality.

At first, Damian was still excited, but after several more successful refinements, his excitement slowly turned into pure satisfaction.

He leaned back in his chair and looked at the rows of jade bottles on the table. "Damn... this talent is really good."

With this, even if he only refined low-level pills for now, his future wealth would become terrifying.

After all, high-quality pills were always worth far more than ordinary ones.

Damian grinned and stored the pills away. "Good. Alchemy is settled for now."

Then he turned back toward his bed and sat down cross-legged again. "Now it’s time to cultivate."

Just like that, Damian spent the next several days cultivating quietly until the gifting cooldown was over.

---

Inside his room, Damian slowly opened his eyes and grinned as his cultivation increased once again. "Finally, I reached the Sixth Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm."

Aside from that, today was also the day when the gifting cooldown had finally ended, and naturally, Damian had already prepared special gifts for his dear treasure chests.

He stood up from the bed and stretched lazily. "Alright, time to feed my treasure chests again."

Then he walked out of his room and headed toward the courtyard, where Violetta and Vulkara were currently cultivating.

Violetta was sitting calmly beneath the tree, while Vulkara was practicing with her short blade nearby.

The moment Vulkara saw Damian, she immediately stopped, crossed her arms, and groaned. "Hmph."

Damian raised an eyebrow. "What? Why are you looking at me like I owe you money?"

Vulkara snorted coldly. "You’re biased."

Damian blinked. "Biased?"

Vulkara pointed at Violetta. "Senior Sister gets Top-Rank Profound Grade pills like they’re nothing, while I get Mortal Grade pills. Don’t act like I didn’t notice."

Violetta calmly sipped her tea without saying anything because she already knew what her master would do later.

Damian stared at Vulkara for a moment before suddenly laughing. "Hahaha! You’re mad because of that?"

Vulkara’s face darkened. "Who said I’m mad?"

Damian grinned. "You look pretty mad to me."

Vulkara clenched her fists. "You bastard..."

Damian waved his hand casually. "Alright, alright. Since my second disciple is feeling wronged, your great master will comfort you properly today."

Vulkara frowned. "Comfort me?"

Without another word, Damian took out a jade slip and tossed it toward her.

Vulkara caught it instinctively, still suspicious. "What is this?"

Damian smiled. "Open it and see."

Vulkara sent her consciousness into the jade slip, and the moment she read the contents, her entire body froze.

[Top-Rank Profound Grade Flame Absorption Art]

Her red eyes widened instantly. "What the hell is this?!"

Damian crossed his arms proudly. "A cultivation art."

Vulkara glared at him. "I know it’s a cultivation art! I’m asking how the hell you got this!"

Damian shrugged casually. "I bought it."

Vulkara stared at him like he had just said the stupidest thing in the world. "You bought it?"

Damian nodded. "Yeah."

Vulkara’s mouth twitched violently. "How can you buy something like this?! Do you even know what this is?"

Damian tilted his head. "A Top-Rank Profound Grade Flame Absorption Art?"

Vulkara almost choked. "Even in the Great Flame Sect, this kind of flame cultivation art can be considered a secret art! Even inner disciples wouldn’t be allowed to see it easily!"

This time, Damian was genuinely surprised. "Is that so?"

Vulkara froze. "You... you really didn’t know?"

Damian scratched his cheek. "Not really. I just saw that it suited you, so I bought it."

For a moment, Vulkara couldn’t speak.

She lowered her gaze toward the jade slip in her hand, and her grip slowly tightened.

This annoying bastard had casually given her something that even her old sect would never have given her.

Her expression became complicated.

Damian only grinned. "So? Still think I’m biased?"

Vulkara clicked her tongue and looked away. "Tch... maybe a little less now."

Violetta smiled softly from the side.

Damian laughed. "Good. Then cultivate properly, red-haired rat."

Vulkara instantly snapped her head toward him. "Call me that again and I’ll burn your room down!"

Damian grinned wider. "See? This is why you’re fun."
