Chapter 125: Sword Tomb Death Flag Appears
After leaving the inner hall, Selvara stepped onto her flying sword with a cold expression.
Damian followed behind her and immediately felt something was wrong.
His master was angry.
Not the kind of anger where she would draw her sword and kill someone.
But the kind where she looked calm on the outside while silently preparing to punish him later.
Damian carefully stepped onto the flying sword. "Master..."
Selvara did not look back. "How can you be like that?"
Damian blinked. "Like what?"
Selvara turned her head slightly and stared at him. "Giving gifts everywhere. Smiling at every beautiful woman. Acting shameless in another top faction. Do you have no restraint?"
Damian coughed lightly. "Master, you know me. I can’t help it."
Selvara’s eyes became colder.
Damian quickly added, "But I didn’t do anything bad. I was just building relationships."
Selvara snorted. "Relationships?"
Damian nodded seriously. "Of course. Violetta is staying there now. If I leave a good impression and give some gifts, they will naturally treat her better."
Selvara fell silent for a moment.
Then she said flatly, "Fine."
Damian’s eyes lit up slightly.
Selvara continued, "Your actions will indeed make sure Violetta is welcomed there."
Damian immediately nodded. "Exactly. That was my plan from the beginning."
Selvara glanced at him.
Damian looked away. "Mostly."
The flying sword rose into the air and left Heavenly Palace.
The floating palace slowly became smaller behind them, wrapped in mist, music, and soft golden light.
After flying for a while, Damian suddenly asked, "By the way, Master, do you know how strong Nolan is?"
Selvara’s eyes became calmer. "First Stage Golden Core Realm."
Damian’s expression froze.
Then his eyes widened. "Damn. He is already in the Golden Core Realm?"
Selvara nodded. "Yes."
Damian frowned deeply. He had already guessed that Nolan was strong.
But Golden Core? That was a whole major realm above him.
Selvara continued, "He also seems to really hate you."
Damian sighed. "Yeah. I noticed."
Selvara looked ahead and said calmly, "In three months, the Sword Tomb will open. If you enter, he may take action against you there."
Damian’s mouth twitched. "Damn. Then I’ll be dead."
Selvara frowned. "No, you will not."
Damian looked at her.
Selvara said coldly, "You are still my disciple. He will not dare to kill you openly."
Damian nodded on the outside, but inwardly, his expression became serious.
"Master, you don’t understand. He is a protagonist-type bastard. Since I have already become his enemy, he will definitely try to kill me if he gets the chance."
"A protagonist doesn’t care about logic when hatred is involved."
Selvara continued, "That is why I will train you even harder before the Sword Tomb opens."
Damian’s face changed instantly. "Master, wait."
Selvara ignored him.
Damian quickly said, "Can we talk about this calmly?"
Selvara said flatly, "No."
Damian’s heart sank. He could already imagine the next three months.
He slowly clenched his fists and looked toward the direction of the Heavenly Sword Sect.
"Damn it, Nolan."
"Just you wait."
"Because of you, my hell training is about to become even worse."
The flying sword cut through the clouds, carrying Damian back toward the mountain where his nightmare training waited.
---
After returning to the Heavenly Sword Sect, Damian went straight back to his room.
Selvara had already returned to her own courtyard, probably preparing some new hellish training plan for him.
Damian did not want to think about that for now. If he thought too much, his mood would collapse.
So instead, he closed the door, activated the small room barrier, and sat down on his bed.
Then his eyes slowly brightened. "Alright. Let’s see how good my harvest was this time."
Damian rubbed his hands together.
Today, he had given gifts to Raven, Rosa, Sarah, Violetta, and even Elder Vivian.
Naturally, the system rewards had already appeared, but because they were still inside Heavenly Palace earlier, Damian did not check them properly.
After all, suddenly grinning like an idiot in front of a group of beautiful women and powerful elders would be too suspicious.
Now, there was no need to hold back. Damian first checked the rewards from Raven, Rosa, and Sarah.
The moment he saw them, his eyes lit up.
---
[Gift: 10 Low-Rank Noble Grade Spirit Gathering Pills]
[Multiplier: 100×]
[Critical Reward Triggered]
[Reward: 100 Top-Rank Noble Grade Spirit Gathering Pills]
---
[Gift: 10 Low-Rank Noble Grade Blood Qi Recovery Pills]
[Multiplier: 100×]
[Critical Reward Triggered]
[Reward: 100 Top-Rank Noble Grade Blood Qi Recovery Pills]
---
[Gift: 10 Low-Rank Noble Grade Clear Heart Pills]
[Multiplier: 100×]
[Critical Reward Triggered]
[Reward: 100 Top-Rank Noble Grade Clear Heart Pills]
---
Damian stared at the screens for a moment before grinning widely. "Good. This is really fucking good."
He never thought he could actually trigger critical rewards from all three of them, but after thinking about it, he understood.
Raven, Rosa, and Sarah were similar to him in realm and still around the Foundation Establishment level.
For people at that stage, Noble Grade pills were extremely hard to obtain for free.
Even if Heavenly Palace was a top faction, resources were not thrown around casually.
So when Damian suddenly gifted them Low-Rank Noble Grade pills, the effect was naturally strong.
"It seems sincerity plus rarity really does work."
Then Damian looked at the rewards again, and his eyes became even brighter.
Not only were they Top-Rank Noble Grade pills, but he had one hundred of each.
Damian almost laughed out loud.
With these three sets of pills, his cultivation, recovery, and mental stability would all become much better.
Spirit Gathering Pills would help him cultivate faster.
Blood Qi Recovery Pills would keep him alive when Selvara beat him half to death during training.
And Clear Heart Pills would help stabilize his mind, refine Qi, and reduce the risk of mistakes during breakthrough or comprehension.
For Damian, this was not just profit.
This was basically a survival set, especially with Selvara’s hell training coming soon.
Damian carefully stored the three sets of pills back into his storage ring and nodded in satisfaction. "Not bad. Heavenly Palace really is a treasure land."
Then his gaze moved to the next reward. This one came from his disciple, Violetta. And when he saw it, Damian was shocked.
Truly shocked.
"THE HELL?!"
