Chapter 100: Master Takes The Apology Pill
Damian soon returned to Selvara’s mountain peak, and when he walked into the courtyard, his smile froze.
Someone was there.
Selvara was already standing in the courtyard, and her silver eyes were currently looking straight at him.
Damian frowned and helplessly said, "Master..."
Selvara looked at him silently for a moment before speaking. "So fast, huh?"
Damian blinked, not understanding. "Fast?"
Selvara’s tone remained calm. "You went down the mountain very quickly without even asking for permission."
Damian immediately straightened his back. "Master, isn’t today the day I’m free?"
Selvara looked at him.
Damian quickly added, "Saturday and Sunday. You said it yourself. This disciple remembered Master’s kindness very clearly."
Selvara stared at him for a few breaths before sighing faintly. "Fine. Since I already promised, I will let it go."
Damian secretly relaxed. "Hehe, sorry, Master."
He smiled and reached into his storage ring. "Since this disciple made Master wait, I will offer a small apology."
Damian took out a jade box and opened it carefully. Inside was a dark-red pill with faint golden lines around it.
"This is an Iron Marrow Body Strengthening Pill. It is a Low-Rank Noble Grade pill that can strengthen the body, temper the bones, improve blood vitality, and increase physical endurance."
He pushed the jade box toward Selvara. "Master is still in the Golden Core Realm, so this should still be useful to you."
Selvara looked at the pill for a moment.
After a short silence, she accepted it. "Fine. I will accept your gift for now."
Damian immediately smiled. "Good choice, Master."
Selvara glanced at him. "Do not make a habit of using gifts to escape scolding."
Damian coughed. "Of course not, Master. This disciple is very sincere."
Selvara clearly did not believe him, but she did not expose him either.
Damian cupped his hands and quickly escaped back to his room.
The moment he closed the door, the familiar system screen appeared in front of him.
---
[Target: Selvara]
[Gift Given: Low-Rank Noble Grade Iron Marrow Body Strengthening Pill]
[500× Multiplier Activated]
[Reward Obtained: 500 Low-Rank Noble Grade Iron Marrow Body Strengthening Pills]
---
Damian looked at the screen for a moment.
There was no critical hit, but at this moment, he was not surprised.
Selvara had a cold personality, and she was also a rich cultivator, so a single Low-Rank Noble Grade pill was not valuable enough to shake her heart.
Still, Damian did not feel sad.
Because of her huge multiplier, he still got five hundred goddamn Low-Rank Noble Grade Iron Marrow Body Strengthening Pills.
Also, these pills were rare because they increased body strength, which was the weakness of many cultivators.
Damian rubbed his chin and laughed softly. "Not bad. Even a normal return from Master is still ridiculous."
He stored the pills away carefully. "Hehe... this is why gifting beautiful women is the best business in the world."
---
The next day, Damian was on his way to the blacksmith hall.
However, his steps were a bit slower than usual.
Last night, he had used the Iron Marrow Body Strengthening Pill to strengthen his body.
Although it was only a Low-Rank Noble Grade pill, it was still a Noble Grade pill. More importantly, it was a body-tempering pill, and this kind of pill was never gentle.
The entire night had been painful as hell.
His bones had burned, his muscles had tightened, his blood had boiled, and his body had felt like it was being hammered from the inside.
Because of that, Damian had not slept at all.
Even though his body had clearly become stronger, his expression looked slightly hazy.
It was like he had seen the edge of death and returned only because death found him too annoying.
And this condition was after eating plenty of Top-Rank Profound Grade Blood Qi Recovery Pills.
Right now, he really wanted to lie flat on his bed.
But he could not.
Today was the last day of freedom before Selvara’s training hell started again, and Damian still had two gifts left for his two disciples.
After some time, Damian finally arrived at the blacksmith hall.
The familiar heat rushed toward him, and the sound of hammers striking metal rang through the air.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Damian rubbed his tired eyes and walked inside.
Several blacksmith disciples noticed him immediately.
One of them quickly stopped what he was doing, stepped forward, and walked over to him. "Senior Brother Damian, welcome."
Damian nodded weakly. "Call Elder Garron for me."
The disciple quickly shook his head. "There is no need. Elder Garron already said that when you arrive, we should bring you directly to his room."
Damian raised an eyebrow. "He already said that?"
The disciple nodded. "Yes."
Damian rubbed his chin.
For some reason, he felt like that old blacksmith elder was a little too prepared.
But he was too tired to think deeply about it, so in the end, he just nodded. "Fine. Lead the way."
The disciple cupped his hands and turned around. "Please follow me."
Damian nodded and followed the blacksmith disciple into Elder Garron’s private room.
The moment Garron looked at him, his rough face became slightly surprised. "What the hell happened to you?"
Damian sat down weakly and waved his hand. "Side effect from a body-tempering pill."
Garron looked at him for a moment before nodding. "I see. No wonder you look like someone hammered your soul all night."
Damian’s mouth twitched. "That is painfully accurate."
Garron snorted and pushed a cup of steaming tea toward him. "Drink this."
Damian looked at the tea. "What is it?"
"Golden Marrow Spirit Tea," Garron said casually. "Top-Rank Noble Grade tea. It can quickly soothe the body, repair minor internal damage, and stabilize blood vitality."
Damian’s tired eyes immediately brightened. "Wow. Elder, you’re really generous."
Garron gave him a flat look. "It’s only tea. Don’t make it sound that amazing."
Damian picked up the cup and drank without hesitation.
The moment the tea entered his body, a warm and refreshing energy spread through his limbs. His sore muscles relaxed, his bones stopped aching, and even his mind became clearer.
Damian let out a satisfied breath. "Damn... good tea really can save lives."
Garron sat across from him. "Now, let’s talk business."
