Chapter 315: A Dance Before the Storm

A Dance Before the Storm

"I’m planning to shoot a commercial and need a male actor. Could you help out?"

Bianca De Dominicis smiled slyly, the playful glimmer in her crimson eyes returning at last.

"Sure thing."

Julian D’Aurelius agreed without the slightest hesitation.

He leaned back comfortably on the sofa, looking completely relaxed.

Inside his heart, however, another train of thought had already begun.

[It’s just acting, right?]

[With my acting skills, if I weren’t worried about those young actors starving, I would’ve entered the entertainment industry long ago.]

[But what’s the commercial for? If it’s for sanitary pads, count me out.]

Bianca had just lifted her teacup to her lips.

The moment Julian’s thoughts reached her ears, she almost sprayed the tea across her office.

She hurriedly covered her mouth and coughed lightly, barely managing to swallow.

Her elegant composure nearly collapsed on the spot.

Seriously...

This man can turn any normal conversation into something completely ridiculous.

She silently placed the teacup back onto the table.

Being around Julian had become increasingly dangerous.

Not because he was powerful.

But because his inner thoughts were utterly unpredictable.

Who knew what bizarre conclusion he would jump to next?

After taking a slow breath to compose herself, Bianca pressed the intercom on her desk.

"Miss. Walker, come in for a moment."

"Right away, President Bianca."

Only a few seconds later, the office door opened gently.

Miss. Walker walked in with her usual professional smile, carrying a tablet in her hands.

She immediately noticed Julian sitting comfortably on the sofa.

Julian also looked toward her.

The two had met countless times before, so there was no awkwardness between them.

Julian nodded with a friendly smile.

"Long time no see, Miss. Walker."

"It’s been a while indeed, Young Master Julian."

Miss. Walker returned the greeting respectfully.

She knew better than anyone what President Bianca thought of the young man sitting before her.

In the company...

Almost everyone had already figured it out.

Even though neither of them had publicly acknowledged any relationship...

President Bianca’s treatment of Julian was something no ordinary person could ever receive.

Miss. Walker naturally understood where she should stand.

Without wasting another second, she walked over and handed the tablet to Bianca.

"President Bianca, this is the advertisement proposal Director Miss. Svensson just sent over. Please take a look and see if it’s suitable."

"Alright, let me see."

Bianca accepted the tablet gracefully and began reviewing the proposal.

The office became quiet once again.

Only the faint sound of fingers swiping across the screen could be heard.

Julian’s curiosity, however, had already gotten the better of him.

He leaned closer.

"What kind of ad is it?"

His eyes were fixed on the tablet.

Nowadays, many luxury brands loved hiring handsome male models to promote products aimed at women.

If it were cosmetics...

Lipstick...

Perfume...

Or skincare products...

He had absolutely no objections.

His face alone was enough to attract attention.

But...

One terrifying possibility still lingered in his mind.

Please don’t be sanitary pads.

Anything but that.

His imagination immediately betrayed him.

[If it’s lipstick, I can smile gracefully.]

[If it’s perfume, I can pose dramatically.]

[But if it’s sanitary pads... there’s no way.]

[I can’t possibly stick one on my pants and jump around while shouting how comfortable it feels.]

Bianca bit the inside of her cheek.

She refused to laugh.

Her shoulders trembled slightly.

This man...

His imagination truly had no limits.

She silently thanked herself for putting the teacup down earlier.

Otherwise...

She definitely would have choked again.

On the tablet, the proposal video began to play.

It wasn’t a product showcase.

Instead...

It opened with elegant music.

A beautifully choreographed dance unfolded across the screen.

A man and a woman stepped gracefully toward each other beneath warm lights.

Every movement flowed naturally.

The choreography combined the passion of the rumba with the elegance of the tango.

Each step carried tension.

Each glance conveyed emotion.

The dancers moved together, separated, then met once more with perfect timing.

It was obvious the choreographer possessed extraordinary skill.

The fusion of both dance styles felt seamless.

Rather than conflicting with one another, they complemented each other beautifully, creating something even more captivating.

But...

There was another unmistakable element.

Both rumba and tango naturally carried an intimate atmosphere.

After being reimagined in this choreography...

That chemistry became even stronger.

The distance between the dancers narrowed again and again.

Their movements were synchronized.

Every turn...

Every spin...

Every near embrace...

Overflowed with subtle attraction.

Without crossing any inappropriate boundaries, the performance still radiated undeniable romantic tension.

Even Julian had to admit...

It was impressive.

The music ended.

The video faded to black.

Bianca locked the tablet and looked toward Julian.

"What do you think?"

Julian nodded with genuine approval.

"Not bad."

"The improvements are great."

"It’ll definitely catch attention when released."

He smiled before asking the question that still mattered most to him.

"But what’s the ad for?"

Bianca’s lips curved into a mysterious smile.

"For a new product."

Her answer remained deliberately vague.

Julian narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

That answer...

Explained absolutely nothing.

His expression suddenly became serious.

"It’s not for sanitary pads, right?"

He looked genuinely concerned.

To him...

This question was extremely important.

If he really appeared in a sanitary pad commercial...

The D’Aurelius family’s century-old reputation would probably collapse overnight.

Bianca finally couldn’t hold back anymore.

A soft laugh escaped her lips.

"What are you thinking?"

She stood up from behind her desk and walked over to him.

Before Julian could react...

She playfully gave him a light slap on the butt.

The crisp sound echoed through the quiet office.

Julian froze.

His eyes widened.

His entire body stiffened.

Inside his head...

Only one thought remained.

[Oh my god.]

[Is this female hooligan at it again?]
