He didn’t speak, but lowered his head and kissed her on the cheek. Then, he took her hand and led her to the dining table.
Yan Chen had a huge appetite, so Jiang Yunnuan had prepared a lot of food.
There were twelve dishes in total. Ten of them were meat, and only two were vegetarian. And of those two vegetarian dishes, one was scrambled eggs with wood ear mushrooms, and the other was salt-and-pepper mushrooms.
It couldn’t be helped. They were all carnivores who disdained vegetable dishes. They found them hard to stomach and wouldn’t eat them at all.
