Chapter 7: Welcome To The Vampire Sect
Evan walked toward the signs of life.
Fifty-foot stone walls stood ahead, covered in patches of moss and he guessed that people lived inside, using the great wall as a barrier, like the people of the restricted zone were kept inside a cage for the so called "protection".
Right now he was 120 meters away from the walls, and the guards that were standing on top of the wall saw him coming towards the sect.
There were four guards each wearing the same outfit.
They were wearing an elegant, ivory porcelain mask etched with intricate, vine-like black filigree. Sharp, hollowed eye sockets and blackened lips create a haunting, doll-like visage beneath the shadow of a dark hood.
Close to where the guards were, a large white colored flag had been placed and had two red fangs in the middle.
’One of our species is coming towards the sect, notify any Core disciple of the situation, the man coming towards the sect has medium to long black hair and a normal body.’, one of the masked figure which looked like the leader of these four said to a person standing beside him.
The person as soon as he heard the order from his senior jumped off the wall, as he was a vampire he did not feel any pain.
’I think he is one of the Traitors, they have been growing in numbers these days.’, one of the guards said to the senior.
’It might certainly be possible, however we can’t make assumptions on someone of our blood... our ancestor "The Great Scarlet Heaven" had taught us not to kill the people of the same species.’, the senior spoke.
Meanwhile, Evan was now a little bit tired and was very close to reaching the Vampire Sect. And the sky that was previously red colored had now changed its color to a normal sky.
A man wearing white robes with red stripes appeared in front of Evan, along with four guards wearing dark robes.
Like the other guards, he was also wearing an ivory porcelain mask.
’What do you seek our brother?’, said the man wearing white robes.
’And why should I give away the thought of what I seek like a sweet?’, replied Evan.
The man wearing white robes laughed hard hearing this and removed his mask, seeing him the others removed their masks too.
’My name is Harry, I am a core disciple of the vampire sect.’, the man said
Harry had long white hair, red eyes, and slightly larger canines than humans, other than that he looked the exact same as humans. His jawline was sharp and the adam’s apple was popping at his throat. His body was muscular but thin at the same time.
His hair were swaying with the wind, looking like that of a handsome guy.
’My name is Ella, I am an Inner disciple of the vampire sect.’
Ella’s facial features were very similar to that of Harry’s, other than her body of course, which was rather curvy and thin like a normal female
’Are you two siblings?’ Evan asked seeing such similarity in their features.
’Looks like brother has great eyes and observation. Indeed we are siblings.’, Harry replied.
Seeing Harry’s sentence get completed the other three gave their introductions aswell.
Finally, after listening to all of their introductions he had gotten enough information that the other three were lower ranked than the siblings.
They were called Outer disciples while Ella was an Inner disciple and Harry was a Core disciple.
The thing common in all of these was their pale skin and slightly larger canines than humans.
After analyzing the situation, he hypothesized that these people were not here to harm him and giving his introduction was not going to result harmful.
And Evan’s goal was to join the vampire sect, and this was the perfect opportunity to do so. He gave himself a goal here that he will show complete kindness and friendship to these people because his late mother always said that treating others well leads to them treating you well or favoring you in return.
’I am grateful that senior brothers and sister trusted me, my name is Evan and I am a vampire, that is all I can remember, it appears that I have lost my memory.’, said Evan smiling with fake tears in his eyes.
Two to three of them even dropped to the lush green grass.
Of course he would not tell that he had been teleported from another world into this one, otherwise it would pose dangers to him.
Harry listening to his introduction smiling and said
’There is no worry junior brother, you might have been attacked, things like that are not really uncommon these days.’
’For now you shall come into our sect. I will talk to one of the Sect Elders about if they allow your joining, but do not worry they will accept, as you like us are a descendant of "The Great Scarlet Heaven".’
’Yes, brother is right you are welcome to the vampire sect.’, Ella said smiling.
’I do not know who senior brother is talking about but I am very grateful for the kindness.’, Evan replied as if he were a naive person.
’Hehehe... no worries, well let’s go inside the sect for now, I shall lead the way.’
They walked and Evan saw a large great wooden door acting as a bridge between the sect and the outer world.
He walked along with the other five that were to escort him to a guest house. However, he wasn’t exactly sure why there would be a guest house in a vampire sect.
Beneath the bridge, was a red liquid with the scent of a rose flowing.
’What is this liquid.’, asked Evan
’It is the blood of non-magical people, we modified it so that it would not attract wild beasts, if flows throughout the sect, we use it to cultivate to higher realms.’, replied Ella.
Evan’s face reddened hearing the word "non magical people", there was only one species he knew that was non-magical, it was Humans.
