Chapter 1907: Chapter 1906: Battle with Cang Ming
Despicable humans.
Feng Feifei gritted her teeth as she looked at the human clutching her and rolling around—the Vermilion Bird Egg she had already acquired, only to be snatched by a third party halfway through.
Of all things, the opponent was a human man. "Go to hell," Feng Feifei activated the Ice Phoenix Bloodline within her, a powerful coldness emanating to freeze this human cultivator into an icicle.
Daring to take advantage of me.
Feng Feifei thought and acted this way, the Ice Phoenix Bloodline within her was indeed an Innate Cold Body. As the only tribe allowed by the Candle Dragon Demon Emperor to live in the Dragon Hall in the Southern Demon Country, the Ice Phoenix Bloodline was no pushover.
If an ordinary Golden Core were invaded by this Innate Cold Qi, ninety-five percent of the time it would be frozen into an ice sculpture, but to Li Feng, this woman Feng Feifei actually felt quite refreshing.
Li Feng, whose body contained four types of Abnormal Fire, did not fear the Heavenly Frost Cold Air, and Feng Feifei’s Innate Cold Body was somewhat inferior to the Heavenly Frost Cold Air. As soon as this cold air entered Li Feng’s body, it was repelled by the Burning Technique, causing no harm at all.
Li Feng also sensed Feng Feifei’s intention to freeze him, so he decided to see who was stronger. Li Feng pushed his power to the max, the Burning Technique activated, causing his skin to turn red and even scorchingly hot, transforming him into a human-shaped heater.
As they tangled, Feng Feifei felt the heat emanating from Li Feng, letting out a restrained groan. How could this human have such scorching power, suppressing even her Innate Cold Qi?
What’s going on?
Ah.
There’s some comfort in this.
Li Feng had been absorbing various Fire Element Energies, merging with three types of Abnormal Fire, and the Fire Element was indeed Yang-based. Li Feng had been experiencing a slight imbalance in Yin and Yang, though he could control it for the time being.
But at this moment, as he embraced Feng Feifei, he felt particularly comfortable, his body’s fiery energies dissipating considerably.
And strangely, Li Feng felt a budding impulse, a stirring not only of simple desire but also a tremor from deep within his soul.
Li Feng was well aware of this sensation’s cause; after all, his grandfather had studied ancient medicine for many years, based on the theory of Yin-Yang and Five Elements, where balance was crucial for longevity. Now, however, he was a bit extreme.
Having absorbed too much Fire Element Energy, Li Feng felt somewhat irritable and restless.
Li Feng was slightly distracted, while Feng Feifei, caught in the "heat," clenched her teeth, wishing she could strangle Li Feng.
This despicable human dared to disrespect her.
With their separate intentions, they rolled to dissipate the fall’s force and finally stopped, Feng Feifei pinned beneath Li Feng, naturally infuriated: "Get off me, you indecent human."
Feng Feifei was about to throw a punch but Li Feng pinned one arm to her head, and her other arm was similarly immobilized, pressed against the ground by Li Feng.
"If you have guts, release me; I promise to make your death quick."
Li Feng glanced at the struggling Feng Feifei, who despite her desperate struggle, was not strong enough to overcome Li Feng, trapped firmly by him.
Moreover, Feng Feifei’s Ice Phoenix Body and Innate Cold Qi were no match for Li Feng, leaving Feng Feifei completely powerless against him.
If it were a solo duel, Li Feng wouldn’t mind teasing this Demon Clan beauty. However, nearby lay the wooden box containing the Vermilion Bird Egg. Li Feng looked down at the struggling Feng Feifei and, without a word, kissed her forcefully.
Simultaneously, he transferred a burst of Purple Flame Spark through her cherry lips, making Feng Feifei utterly bewildered by Li Feng’s abrupt actions, sensing something being fed to her yet instinctively swallowing it.
Did I just consume this despicable human’s saliva?
Li Feng did not intend to kill Feng Feifei; he sensed she still had great potential use for him. After the kiss, Li Feng pushed off with his feet in a backward somersault from Feng Feifei’s form, reaching for the Parasol Wood box.
Yet as Li Feng neared the box, a silhouette suddenly appeared—it was Cang Ming from the Gale Tribe of Chaotic Blade Mountain, stepping firmly onto the box as he eyed Li Feng.
"Having killed Niu Guli, you humans indeed possess some skill. I will be your opponent."
Cang Ming spoke and swiftly kicked the box towards Helena, simultaneously disappearing and reappearing within striking distance of Li Feng, clawing towards him.
Cang Ming’s five fingers sliced the air like blades, tearing the space, prompting Li Feng to spring back, though Cang Ming’s claw left bloody marks on Li Feng despite his retreat.
Li Feng stepped back several paces, feeling the claw marks on his skin, realizing the opponent’s Finger Knife could penetrate his three-layered defenses.
The outer Protective Gang Qi, Thunder Flame Armor, and Domineering Inner Armor, all tempered over repeated training, making him extremely resilient.
The sharpness of the opponent’s claw made Li Feng cautious and wary of Cang Ming in front of him.
"Human, seeing as you have arrived here, surely you must have met my brother. Did you kill him?"
Cang Ming was not rash to dismember Li Feng, lifting his hand to taste a drop of Li Feng’s blood: "Human blood, indeed quite delicious."
Li Feng raised his eyes to Cang Ming: "Heh, since you guessed it, why bother to ask."
"Was it you who killed him?"
Cang Ming asked again, but with eyes now filled with vicious sharpness.
"I killed him; he died with a face full of reluctance."
Li Feng provocatively stated.
Cang Ming exhaled: "My brother always defied me; though I long wished him dead, it mattered not to me."
"But you, a mere human, dared to kill him."
"No matter how worthless he was, he was my brother after all," Cang Ming spoke incoherently, indifferently raising his eyes to Li Feng.
"I’ll dismember you and send you to the Underworld to accompany him."
As Cang Ming spoke, his figure vanished.
Li Feng immediately tensed his body, yet suddenly, Cang Ming appeared behind him, strolling casually as though in his own backyard, taking a cold glance at Li Feng’s back before sweeping his claws.
Li Feng’s form was torn apart but it was only a shadow.
"Hmph, let me send you to meet your brother first."
Li Feng appeared beside Cang Ming, landing a punch towards Cang Ming’s side face, but the punch was deflected by a stream of air.
Wind God Body.
Previously, to kill Cang Shan, Li Feng had spent considerable effort, and Cang Ming was evidently stronger than Cang Shan.
Cang Ming coldly smirked, striking with lightning speed, but Li Feng was equally swift. The opponent had a Wind God Body; the wind sensed every surrounding movement, like sensing tendrils making everything around it impossible to hide.
Moreover, Cang Ming’s speed was as swift as the wind; even at close range, he could react and act against it.
However, Li Feng refused to back down; within a certain range, Li Feng’s Divine Sense could predict the opponent’s actions, not to mention his abundant experience in close combat, not inferior to the opponent’s speed. Within, his Golden Core was of the Thunder Element.
The speed of lightning was faster than wind, though the Thunder Element is an instantaneous burst, while wind is continuous.
