Chapter 180: Dealing With Wife is not Easy!

The moment Tony Clark and Emma Rock stepped onto the battlefield, the entire Battle God Arena fell silent.

The spectators instinctively sensed something different about this battle.

Mark Smith versus Emma had been a clash between geniuses.

Tony versus the bald monk had been entertaining.

This... This felt personal.

Emma stood at one end of the battlefield... Tony stood at the opposite side.

Neither moved... Neither spoke. Yet the pressure between them continued rising.

Far above the arena, Da Vinci observed quietly. Ancestor Long narrowed his eyes. Even the Nine House Masters stopped discussing amongst themselves.

Something unusual was happening.

The first sign appeared around Emma.

Silver life energy slowly emerged from her body.

Not ordinary spiritual energy. Life energy... It gathered around her like flowing moonlight.

The spectators immediately felt their bodies becoming lighter.

Some older warriors even widened their eyes.

Their exhausted bodies felt slightly refreshed merely from being near the energy.

Then... A golden aura appeared around Tony.

His life energy emerged like a sleeping dragon awakening from ancient slumber.

The spectators felt the difference instantly.

Emma’s life energy felt gentle.

Tony’s felt domineering.

The two energies spread across the battlefield.

Neither side attacked.

Neither side retreated.

The silver and golden energies collided in the middle.

BOOOOM!

The air exploded.

The audience gasped.

Several weaker spectators nearly fell from their seats.

Far above, Natasha’s expression changed slightly.

Only she understood why this scene felt so strange.

The life energies weren’t merely clashing.

They were resonating.

As if they once belonged together. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Meanwhile...

Tony and Emma continued staring at each other.

The battle hadn’t begun.

Yet everyone felt like they were already fighting.

Finally...

Emma spoke.

Her voice wasn’t loud.

Yet somehow every person in the arena heard it clearly.

"Tell me something, Tony."

Tony remained silent.

Emma continued.

"When your family threw me out that night... did you know?"

The arena became confused.

What night?

What was she talking about?

Only a handful of people understood.

The Clark Family elders.

Patriarch Rion.

Natasha.

And Emma herself.

Tony didn’t answer immediately.

His gaze remained fixed on her.

Then he spoke.

"No."

The answer stunned many people.

Emma laughed.

Not happily.

Not angrily.

Just tired.

"So you really didn’t know."

The spectators exchanged confused looks.

The conversation made no sense.

Meanwhile, the Clark Family elders felt increasingly uncomfortable.

Several wished the battlefield would simply explode and end the discussion.

Unfortunately, Emma wasn’t finished.

"For years, I wondered whether you knew."

Tony clenched his fists.

Emma continued.

"I wondered whether everything was planned. Whether every smile was fake. Whether every promise was fake."

The arena grew quieter.

Even the commentators stopped speaking.

Nobody understood the full story.

Yet everyone could hear the pain hidden beneath the words.

Tony finally took a step forward.

"I didn’t know."

His voice remained calm.

"But I know now."

Emma’s eyes trembled slightly.

For the first time since entering the arena, genuine emotion appeared on her face.

Then she laughed again.

"You know now."

A strange sadness filled her expression.

"How convenient."

BOOM!

Silver energy erupted.

The battlefield cracked.

The battle finally began.

Emma vanished.

The spectators gasped.

Her speed exceeded anything she had displayed against Mark Smith.

Tony moved simultaneously.

The two figures collided in the center.

BOOOOOOM!

A shockwave swept across the arena.

The protective formations lit up instantly.

Before the dust settled, another explosion erupted.

Then another.

Then another.

The spectators could barely follow.

Silver and gold flashed continuously throughout the battlefield.

Palm strikes.

Fists.

Kicks.

Movement techniques.

The collision of life energies created waves powerful enough to shake the arena.

Emma attacked fiercely.

Tony defended.

Tony counterattacked.

Emma retaliated.

The battle became a storm.

Neither side held back.

Neither side yielded.

High above the arena, Mark Smith narrowed his eyes.

For the first time, he realized both competitors had hidden strength during previous battles.

Far more than anyone suspected.

Meanwhile, Emma’s voice echoed again.

"Did you ever search for me?"

BOOM!

A silver palm descended.

Tony dodged.

His body split into multiple afterimages.

Phantom of Illusion.

The spectators gasped.

Five Tonys.

Ten Tonys.

Twenty Tonys.

Emma shattered three instantly.

The remaining afterimages scattered throughout the battlefield.

Tony’s voice came from everywhere.

"No."

The answer stunned her.

Even Natasha looked surprised.

Tony continued.

"I didn’t search."

Emma’s expression darkened.

Then...

Another voice followed.

"I wasn’t strong enough."

The battlefield suddenly became quiet.

Just for a moment.

Emma froze.

Tony appeared before her.

Not attacking.

Not defending.

Simply looking at her.

"When I learned the truth, I wanted to kill people."

His voice remained steady.

"The problem was that I couldn’t."

The spectators looked completely confused.

What truth?

What was happening?

Only the Clark Family elders lowered their heads.

Shame filled their faces.

Because they understood every word.

Emma stared at him.

Then attacked again.

A silver spear formed from life energy.

Tony responded immediately.

Mountain Dragon Dash.

BOOOOM!

The battlefield exploded.

The spear shattered.

The dragon-shaped aura surged forward.

The spectators roared.

The battle entered another level.

Neither side spoke for several minutes.

Only attacks.

Only destruction.

Only emotions transformed into violence.

Eventually...

Both landed on opposite sides of the battlefield again.

Breathing heavily.

Sweat covered their bodies.

Their life energies continued raging around them.

Emma’s voice became quieter.

"If you knew..."

She swallowed.

"If you knew what happened..."

Her eyes trembled slightly.

"What would you have done?"

The question echoed throughout the arena.

Nobody understood its significance.

Nobody except the people who mattered.

Tony looked at her.

For a long moment, he said nothing.

Then...

Golden dragon energy slowly gathered around his fist.

Not the First Form.

Not the Second.

Not the Third.

Something stronger.

Something heavier.

The arena itself trembled.

Even Da Vinci slowly rose from his seat.

Tony’s voice echoed throughout the battlefield.

"If I knew then..."

The dragon-shaped energy roared.

"...the Clark Family would’ve lost a son that night."

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Even Emma stopped breathing.

The Clark Family elders looked horrified.

Natasha closed her eyes.

Because she knew.

He wasn’t lying.

The dragon aura continued expanding.

Emma’s silver life energy rose in response.

The battlefield cracked beneath their feet.

The spectators stood.

Every single one.

Because they could feel it.

The battle was reaching its climax.

Neither side wanted to lose.

Neither side wanted to win.

And somewhere beneath the clash of techniques...

A question remained unanswered.

Could revenge truly heal the past?

Or would this battlefield simply create another wound?

The answer...

Would be decided by the next exchange.
