After making the calls one by one, Liu Yiru didn’t tell them what had happened. She simply asked them to come over for lunch.

Since Ye Fei’s condition was temporarily "under control," there was no need to rush.

Once she had done all this, Liu Yiru sat in the living room, lost in thought.

She realized that she had somehow developed a rather selfish wish: she hoped that Ye Fei’s coma would last as long as possible.

Only in this state did she feel like she truly possessed him. If he woke up, wouldn’t he go to Lin Ling?

But this thought only flickered through Liu Yiru’s mind before she banished it.

No matter what, she wanted Ye Fei to get better.

Even if he wouldn’t belong to her anymore once he recovered, as long as he was happy, she would be content.

Time flew by as Liu Yiru sat there in a daze, and soon it was noon.

Hearing the sound of a car outside, she knew that Ye Siqi and Ye Siyao had returned.

She was about to go out to greet them when she suddenly remembered something.

Dongfang Ruolan had mentioned that Ye Fei still had a lot of excessive yang energy in his body.

What Liu Yiru had helped him release earlier was probably just a small part.

What if he was still...

At this thought, Liu Yiru couldn’t wait to greet her daughters. She hurriedly pushed open Ye Fei’s bedroom door and went in.

Sure enough, the blanket covering him was now bulging high again.

"This naughty boy!"

Liu Yiru muttered, her face flushing slightly as she quickly walked to the bedside and pressed down on the offending bulge with her small hand.

But then she realized that just pressing it down wouldn’t solve the problem.

Although she didn’t mind holding it and even liked the feeling, what if her daughters walked in? She couldn’t very well keep holding it then, could she?

In a panic, Liu Yiru tried to help Ye Fei put his pajama bottoms back on, but at that moment, she heard Ye Siqi and the others opening the front door.

There was no time to dress him properly.

Reluctantly, Liu Yiru turned Ye Fei over so that he was lying face down.

Worried that the weight of his body might crush the bulge, she reached out and adjusted its position before rushing out of the room.

As soon as Liu Yiru emerged, Ye Siqi and Ye Siyao entered the living room.

Seeing her flushed face, Ye Siqi asked curiously, "Mom, are you okay?"

"I’m fine," Liu Yiru replied, brushing a few loose strands of hair from her forehead to hide her blush. She quickly changed the subject.

"Why did you two come back together?"

"I was on my way when I saw Yao Yao running towards home, so I gave her a lift," Ye Siqi explained with a smile.

Noticing Liu Yiru’s puzzled look, Ye Siyao laughed awkwardly.

"My car broke down, and I couldn’t get a taxi in time, so... By the way, Mom, why did you ask us to come over?"

Although the two sisters were only about ten years younger than Liu Yiru, they got along extremely well.

Unlike other children, they didn’t resent Liu Yiru as their stepmother.

In their hearts, they saw her as a close sister they could confide in, even though they called her "mom."

At this, Liu Yiru’s mood darkened again. She sighed and said, "Ye Fei... he’s had an accident."

"What?" Ye Siqi and Ye Siyao exclaimed in unison.

Their concern for Ye Fei was no less than Liu Yiru’s. Ye Siqi quickly asked, "What happened? Where is he now? I need to see him!"

"He’s in his room," Liu Yiru said, standing up and leading the two sisters towards Ye Fei’s bedroom. "He’s suffered a spiritual mishap and is now unconscious."

Upon entering Ye Fei’s room and seeing him lying there motionless, the two sisters were shocked. They rushed to his bedside.

Ye Siqi gently touched Ye Fei’s face and said, "Brother, what’s wrong? It’s Siqi. Wake up."

Tears already began to stream down her face.

"Has Auntie Dongfang seen him?" Ye Siyao asked calmly, though her red eyes betrayed her deep worry. She just wasn’t very good at expressing her emotions.

"Yes, she has," Liu Yiru nodded, recounting what Dongfang Ruolan had said to her daughters, but leaving out the part about how to channel the energy.

Neither of the sisters had expected that Ye Fei’s condition was so serious. They both asked anxiously, "Does Auntie Dongfang have any solution?"

"Let’s talk outside so we don’t disturb Ye Fei," Liu Yiru suggested, fearing that if they stayed too long, they might notice something unusual about Ye Fei.

She led them to the living room and said, "There is a way. Ruolan taught me a method to use internal energy to help channel the energy out of him. It’s just a bit slow."

"Can’t we all help channel it together to make it faster?" Ye Siyao asked. "Why don’t you teach us this method so we can all pitch in?"

Liu Yiru shook her head. "No, your internal energy isn’t strong enough to be of any help."

Ye Siqi sighed. "It’s a pity that our aunt is still in the capital. If she were here, it would be great. Her internal energy is the strongest in our family."

"Don’t worry," Liu Yiru said.

"Although I’m not as strong as your aunt, I’m more than enough for Ye Fei. And having more people won’t make much of a difference. We just have to take it slow."

However, Ruolan had said that Ye Fei needed peace and quiet right now, so Liu Yiru decided to temporarily "send" her two sisters, who were as close as her own daughters, to live outside.

"But Ye Fei’s condition requires quiet, so you two should stay at the company and the martial arts school for now."

"Okay!" the two sisters agreed without hesitation. Ye Siqi added, "But if there’s any change with Ye Fei, you have to let us know right away."

As the three women were talking, the doorbell rang. Liu Yiru knew it must be the Ye sisters or Xu Shuyun.

Since Liu Fengyi had a key to the Liu family villa, she led Ye Siqi and Ye Siyao to greet them.

When they opened the door, a car drove in and stopped.

Four stunningly beautiful women, three adults and one child, got out. They were Ye Fei’s three aunts—Ye Ningsuan, Ye Ningbing, and Ye Ningxue—and Ye Ningbing’s twelve-year-old daughter, Yun Chuxiao.

"Yiru," "Sister Yiru," and "Auntie" were called out simultaneously. Thanks to Ye Ningsuan’s deliberate mediation, the relationship between the Ye sisters and Liu Yiru had improved a lot.

Only Ye Ningxue still harbored some resentment and just gave Liu Yiru a cold glance.

Ignoring Ye Ningxue’s attitude, Liu Yiru invited them into the living room and tactfully explained Ye Fei’s situation to them.
