Chapter 1898: Chapter 1664: Trouble

Altogether, thirty thousand World Generals entered the Star Domain Battlefield!

Each of these World Generals is a genius of the universe. Though they have worked hard to become World Generals, within the Star Sky Alliance, they are merely members at the bottom tier.

Amongst the tens of thousands of World Generals gathered, Lin Mo stood among them, once again feeling the formidable strength of the Star Sky Alliance, the mightiest force of humanity, consolidating the elite experts amongst humans!

Each thousand World Generals formed a formation, more than thirty formations aligned in the sky, waiting for the spaceship.

Although Lin Mo’s fame had recently surged, it was only in his particular World General area; there were still many within other World General areas who did not know him. Beside Lin Mo stood two men and a woman, all Intermediate World Generals.

Of the two men, the handsome one was named Feng Ji, and the sturdy one carrying a black giant axe on his back was named Tang Long. The woman was named He Qing. The three were good friends, coming from the same Star Domain.

"Lin Mo, is this your first time going to the Star Domain Battlefield?" Tang Long, with his open personality, initiated conversation, leading Lin Mo to learn their names, and they also learned some information about Lin Mo.

Lin Mo nodded, "Yes, it’s my first time going to the Star Domain Battlefield."

"I’m straightforward; don’t take it to heart, but being a Newbie World General, heading to the Star Domain Battlefield is dangerous. Many times, people end up as cannon fodder," Tang Long bluntly stated. "We three decided to venture to the Star Domain Battlefield because we’ve hit a bottleneck in our cultivation, seeking treasures or insights. You should reach the Intermediate World General level before you go; your chances of survival would be better."

"I want to hone myself at the Star Domain Battlefield; I’ve reached a bottleneck in my cultivation too," Lin Mo smiled.

Tang Long spoke candidly but without disdain, merely offering helpful advice.

"Big guy, anyone daring enough to go to the Star Domain Battlefield surely has some hidden skills. Don’t underestimate Lin Mo—he might have some secret trump card," He Qing smiled brightly.

Tang Long awkwardly scratched his head, "I was just kindly advising."

"Both of you quit your nonsense. Surviving this Star Domain Battlefield trip is already uncertain. You should break the ice sooner rather than later to avoid regrets," Feng Ji chuckled, glancing at Tang Long and He Qing.

He Qing immediately blushed, and Tang Long also showed an awkward expression, lowering his head in thought.

Lin Mo observed it all, seeing it as a small episode before heading to the Star Domain Battlefield.

Soon, the spaceship arrived, totaling thirty spacecraft, all World Level spaceships, far superior to the Blood Python. Only such ships could swiftly traverse the universe and perform space jumps to the Star Domain Battlefield.

Lin Mo, Tang Long, and others boarded a spaceship with the thousand-people formation, while other formations boarded their respective spacecraft as well.

The spaceship accelerated to light speed, setting off directly to the Star Domain Battlefield. At light speed, reaching the nearest Third-level Star Domain Battlefield would take roughly six hundred years, so many space jump points helped shorten the journey, reducing it to a mere three-month trip to their destination—the Lonely King Star Domain 81 Base.

Aboard the spaceship, Lin Mo occasionally chatted with Tang Long and others, but mostly spent time in the quiet room reading the Buddhist and Taoist scriptures to stabilize his temperament and realm.

Three months swiftly passed.

The spaceship anchored on an uninhabited planet, and Lin Mo along with others leaped out, gazing over the desolate planet’s surface, devoid of life yet constructed with multiple spaceship docking bays where numerous World General Soldiers roamed, each having a Blood Evil Qi from surviving battlefield combats.

"Someone will soon introduce you to the situation here; the Commander’s Seal will continually record your battles against the Demon Clan and Demon Clan. Attempting to attack and kill fellow allies for treasure would also be documented in the Commander’s Seal," the spaceship’s leader informed them telepathically.

Lin Mo and Tang Long were paired with a guide named "Meng Yu," responsible for familiarizing them with the situation and regulations here.

Meng Yu was an Advanced World General, rumored to have stayed in the War Star Domain for three hundred years, initially a Star Domain Level cultivation when arriving at the Lonely King Star Domain 81 Base, advancing to Advanced World General in merely three hundred years, a progress rate unattainable through solitary cultivation.

"This is the Star Sky Alliance’s base; there are many such bases in the 81 Base. You may return here when facing danger or requiring a break, as the Demon Clan and Barbarian Demon dare not pursue into the base," Meng Yu explained while leading the newcomers through the base.

"In addition to resting, you can also invite companions to jointly venture out and hunt the Demon Clan and Barbarian Demon, or bring acquired treasures for exchange here, trading for desired treasures."

Meng Yu continued, "Look at me. When I first entered the Star Domain Battlefield, I was a mere ordinary Star Domain Level warrior. Through training amidst the battlefield, always hovering at the brink of life and death, my potential was stimulated to breakthrough, gaining many treasures, and that’s how I grew to become an Advanced World General."

Others silently listened, knowing this was not a mere arena but a deadly battlefield where lives were at stake, warranting utmost caution.

"The battlefield is brutal; friends, brothers, even my woman now rest here, leaving me alone," Meng Yu showed a strained smile, shaking his head, "Opportunities abound here, but dangers are equally prevalent. To survive and grow stronger, constant vigilance is essential, even towards fellow Star Sky Alliance members; best not trust easily."

Lin Mo nodded; despite the Commander’s Seal recording battle scenes, if killed and the seal destroyed, there’d be no evidence!

Leading ahead, Meng Yu halted, and the newcomers following him stopped too.

Meng Yu turned and seriously addressed these newbies: "To survive, learn to be cautious, protect yourself, don’t be reckless! Escaping from a lost fight is not shameful."

Lin Mo observed Meng Yu, catching a fleeting trace of sorrow in his eyes, indicating Meng Yu too had stories.

"Alright, enough intimidation. The battlefield contains numerous treasures and opportunities. Seize them. Slaying Barbarian Demon and Demon Clan can earn Honor Points, exchangable for treasures, which ought to be documented in your Commander’s Seal info—I won’t elaborate more." Meng Yu added.

Honor Points!

Lin Mo knew of them, necessary for exchanging treasures in the Star Sky Alliance. Last time at Stone Forest, upon contemplating Xia Ling Saint’s Sword Skill, his Commander’s Seal recorded an extra twenty thousand points.

In the Star Sky Alliance’s treasury, Lin Mo was eager to exchange for ’Water Cloud Colored Sand,’ an extremely rare Cosmic Treasure, the finest material for crafting treasures, a necessity for refining Xuanyuan Sword into a true Ultimate Weapon.

Water Cloud Colored Sand required ten thousand points for merely an ounce.

Seeing the twenty thousand points on his Commander’s Seal, Lin Mo instantly felt dejected, realizing refining Xuanyuan Sword would cost several million points, not to mention other required materials demanding points too.

More wonders to follow tomorrow.
