The old employees of the hospital all knew that Zhao Qing came from an incredibly wealthy family.
If it weren’t for the fact that she had been married, suitors would have literally flattened the threshold of her home with marriage proposals.
Now that Zhao Qing had started pursuing a divorce lawsuit, every male colleague, one after the other, had begun to spruce themselves up.

She was concerned that she might arrive too late and miss him after he had finished work.

Lin Wan approached him with eyes full of longing.
"How could you leave without saying a word to me? Even if you were in a hurry at the time, you could’ve at least sent a message on WeChat."
Zhang Hao scratched his head and laughed, "I haven’t fully adapted to the work here yet, so I haven’t had the energy. How about I make it up to you by taking you out to dinner tonight?"
Back when he was at school, Zhang Hao had agreed with the saying that there were no emotional ties between colleagues, let alone friendships.
After leaving the city hospital, Zhang Hao thought that the chances of him running into Lin Wan or Xiao Ru again were probably not that great.
And to reach out would just be to disturb their work and lives. If by any chance he was perceived as pestering them, even jumping into the Yellow River wouldn’t cleanse his reputation.
Now that Lin Wan had taken the initiative to come to him, the significance was different—it meant at least she hadn’t turned around and forgotten about him.
"Alright, then today I will make sure you treat me to a big meal," she demanded.
The two of them left the office and ran into Zhao Qing, who was also preparing to leave work.

"They probably already think of me as your girlfriend or fiancée."
Zhang Hao was a bit ambiguous about this matter.

The moment those words "keep me company" escaped her lips, Zhang Hao knew why Lin Wan had come to find him.
He leaned back, a smile appearing on his face.
Lin Wan offered an oyster to Zhang Hao: "Eat it; it’s good for you."
Besides oysters, there were also kidney pieces and grilled leeks.
Zhang Hao did not hold back and gobbled them all down.
Useful or not, at least they would have a psychological effect.
But Zhang Hao knew he didn’t need these things.
