Chapter 350: Chapter 347 On the Soft Big Bed
Since Hu Yue said so, Zhang Hao had no choice but to abandon the thought.
However, as soon as he entered, he saw a large photo of the newlyweds.
The woman was very beautiful, and the man was not bad-looking either.
And there were quite a lot of people who had come to attend the wedding today.
But Zhang Hao only planned to be a little transparent figure at the scene today.
Because he had a good relationship with both of them, Gu Yue’s seat was arranged quite close to the front.
Zhang Hao too could bask in the glory and get a close look at how beautiful the bride was.
Taking advantage of the ceremony not having officially started yet, Zhang Hao chatted with Gu Yue.
"Do you think when you get married you would want to have a ceremony grander than today’s?"
However, Gu Yue shook her head and said, "I don’t want to go all out and be wasteful, I feel like on that day, I just want to have family and friends sit down together."
"Having a good meal is better than anything else, no matter how grand the ceremony is, in the end, life goes back to normal."
Hearing her say this, Zhang Hao’s impression of her greatly improved.
"It’s been a while since I’ve seen you, and you seem to have matured."
"I’ll take that as a compliment."
After waiting a while, the emcee finally made his way to the stage and announced the official start of today’s ceremony.
As the lights above dimmed, the first to appear before everyone was today’s groom.
The earlier part of the ceremony was almost indistinguishable from others until the bride walked in; that’s when Zhang Hao paid closer attention.
Although the lighting was dim, creating a different atmosphere,
there were still a few lights illuminating the bride’s face.
Zhang Hao could thereby see the bride’s complexion and the rosy flush on her cheeks.
"The bride’s makeup is so strange, hasn’t this kind of makeup been out of fashion for a long time?" Zhang Hao asked curiously.
Gu Yue looked and said, "That’s not right, she just sent me a selfie, and her face wasn’t that red. Could it be the lighting?"
During their conversation, Gu Yue brought out a photo, and sure enough, the bride’s cheeks weren’t as red in the photo.
At least it could show that the bride’s sense of aesthetics was still on point.
She hadn’t deliberately turned her face into a monkey’s bottom because it was a festive day.
"What’s going on then, could it be that the two of them just engaged in some exercise in a private place?"
Upon hearing this, Gu Yue was somewhat disbelieving.
"That’s impossible, there are so many things to do today. How could they possibly have time for that sort of thing?"
Zhang Hao countered, "Don’t you know that it’s quite an exciting process for a woman to do ’that’ in a wedding gown, maybe in half a month’s time there’ll be some happy news."
Gu Yue didn’t understand and asked Zhang Hao what he meant by happy news.
Suddenly, Zhang Hao thought Gu Yue was still innocently cute.
"It means your friend might have a baby on the way."
With that said, Gu Yue understood.
"You, you’ve ruined the good atmosphere. My friend is young, how could she want children so soon?"
"If you ask me, it’s the lighting; there’s no way they would do that kind of thing today."
Amidst Gu Yue’s objections, Zhang Hao was indifferent about whether or not the couple had done ’that’ thing.
Besides, arguing back and forth brought no benefits.
After the wedding ceremony, Zhang Hao thought he could leave smoothly, but to his surprise, Gu Yue wanted to stay a bit longer.
She wanted to talk to her good sister, chat for a bit and celebrate her finding her Prince Charming.
Similarly, the groom had to chat more with his friends, leaving Zhang Hao’s status a bit odd for a moment.
Though Gu Yue stood by his side, everyone still assumed Zhang Hao was Gu Yue’s boyfriend.
After some explanations, it instead rendered Gu Yue in an awkward position.
"Xiao Yue, if he is not your boyfriend, why bring him to today’s wedding? Don’t you know this isn’t right?"
Gu Yue remained calm, "What’s wrong with that? I’m here today to wish the bride well."
"I’m not the main character, and although we aren’t a couple now, who knows if we might be one day in the future?"
As Gu Yue spoke, Zhang Hao immediately became nervous, hurriedly signaling to her with his eyes,
hoping she would change her story; he didn’t wish to tempt fate.
But obviously, Gu Yue didn’t regard Zhang Hao’s thoughts.
However, her words instantly sparked curiosity among those present.
"Xiao Yue, you need to be careful when choosing your other half. Not just anyone can be with you, you know?" a middle-aged woman said.
Gu Yue nodded repeatedly while also glancing at Zhang Hao beside her. Seeing he had no reaction, she felt at ease.
It wasn’t until they left the wedding venue that Zhang Hao raised his objections.
"Next time we meet your relatives, can you not speak so bluntly?"
"It’s just talk, not serious. Are you scared?"
Looking at Gu Yue, it seemed she wasn’t merely jesting.
Zhang Hao, as if facing a formidable enemy: "Miss Gu, actually, I’ve already found someone I like. Being with you might have negative repercussions for you."
"Oh, who is that? Have I met them before?"
Zhang Hao could indeed provide a precise answer, she definitely had not met them.
"We just met recently, Miss Gu definitely hasn’t seen them, but I quite fancy them."
Upon hearing this, Gu Yue nodded again and again: "As long as you like each other, that’s good. What mattered for a couple in the past was getting through life together."
"After all, back then people couldn’t even get enough to eat, but now life’s getting better and just having enough to eat isn’t a necessary reason for two people to be together. I wonder if Doctor Zhang understands the meaning of my words."
Zhang Hao understood all too well; he just hoped Gu Yue could think this way. As long as she did, his goal would be achieved.
Although he knew Gu Yue’s status was not simple and that it could bring him conveniences at work,
love and marriage were not to be trifled with, and he dared not promise her anything.
"Don’t worry or be afraid; I won’t force you into anything. As long as you’re not married now, an occasional encounter like this should be alright," she said.
Zhang Hao felt goosebumps at her words but saw no way to refuse.
"Alright, alright, whatever you say is right. So, do you want it today?"
Gu Yue scrutinized Zhang Hao: "I’ve already arranged everything. Let’s head to the hotel now, so you won’t be delayed going home tonight."
Before finishing, Gu Yue turned the car around, heading straight for the hotel.
Upon arriving, Gu Yue was as passionate as fire. Recalling what Zhang Hao said at the wedding, she was already restless with anticipation.
"What’s with you today, being so enthusiastic?"
"It’s been too long, can’t I want it?"
"What, you don’t want to give in tonight? Even if you don’t want to exhaust us, if you don’t satisfy me, don’t even think about leaving."
It had been too long since they’d seen each other, and after all, Gu Yue was indeed different from other women.
Zhang Hao, too, was stimulated by her words.
"Alright, if you want it, you’ll get it, just be careful you can catch it."
Zhang Hao directly picked up Gu Yue and tossed her onto the soft large bed.
